Chapter 2
"Sorry I didn't call you last night," Jaime said to Carrie.
"That's OK, but tell me what happened. I want to hear all about it."
Jaime described the entire date to her and told her how much she was looking forward to their next date.
"I'm glad you had a good time Jaime. He sounds like a catch and he's definitely interested in you or he wouldn't have asked you out on a second date before the first one was even over."
"I'll keep you posted on whatever happens next. I'm trying not to over fantasize this whole thing in case I'm disappointed. I'll talk to you later Carrie."
After she hung up the phone Jaime started getting ready for work. As she was leaving the house she looked at her phone and noticed a text message from André.
"Thanks again for the wonderful date. I had a great time and can't wait to see you again," the text read.
She smiled and texted back. "Having the same exact thoughts."
"How's tomorrow night for you? I have tickets to this really cool concert."
Jaime loved going to concerts. It made her smile to know he enjoyed doing that too. "Sounds like fun. I'm interested to know what your taste in music is."
"Let's keep it a surprise in that case. I'll pick you up at 5:30pm."
The concert date was a big success. Jaime loved The Beatles and really enjoyed the cover band André had taken her to see. This naturally led to a few more dates. Jaime liked him more and more. He seemed to not be able to not anything wrong. He said all the right things, made her feel safe, beautiful, and smart. After only five dates she even started to think she may have been falling in love with him. She decided, for their sixth date, to invite him over to her house to watch a movie. She was very nervous about it. A man had never been over to her place. André showed up with flowers and gave her a tender kiss as he walked in. Jaime took him by the hand and sat him down on her couch. They watched a French movie André had recommended. Jaime was not surprised by the nude scenes since European movies are often more liberal with those sorts of things, but she was surprised by how aroused she became during one sex scene. Her Christian upbringing and beliefs often led her to think of those types of things as unclean, and would feel shame after seeing it. Tonight was different, however, she was so attracted to André that as she watched the actors on the TV making love she imagined that it was her participating. She wanted to feel André's touch.
