(Long time reader, first time writer, glad to have your eyes and hopefully your comments on my work! Everyone in this story is above 23 and imaginary)
Unpacking my suitcase after getting home from that oh-so-lovely break from my dreary days was truly a task. I fished out half-drunk bottles of vodka, rumpled clothes, and more soap bars than I would ever want. A half smile, and pleasant memories rose up, as my fingers got caught in a pair of lacy black panties, ripped at the crotch.
I hadn't met my friends in a few years. I had been working on site, in the middle of nowhere for what seemed like far too much time. I missed hanging out with them. Carousing in Rohan's house till at least two bedtimes would have come and gone was one of my fondest memories of college. There was no one to pick me up at the airport. Everyone had reached a couple of days ago.
I found a taxicab that appeared to be at least as old as my dads Nokia, and set off towards the venue. It was on the outskirts of Bangalore, and seeing as how the airport was on the other side of town, it took almost as long as my flight had taken, jolted in and out of sleep by the potholes and speed-breakers.
When I finally reached, I was ready to slump into a bed and a bath, not necessarily in that order. I had gulped down a sandwich at the airport so I wasn't particularly hungry. Luckily I saw Rohan just as I was waling in, 'Glad to see you finally made it' he accosted me.
"Hey if I showed up early to anything in my life, its because i was too late to the last thing" I grinned at him.
"Too true, too true. Let's get you settled in. You look ghastly" He offered.
"Now is that something nice to say to your friend who you havent seen in two years?" I frowned in mock-anger.
He led me to the concierge, got me my keycard and saw me off in the lobby. The groom has much on his mind, and I didn't want to keep him too long. I knew I wouldn't be able to see much of him, other than the mandated wedding ceremonies, but that was okay, we were planning to take a trip to catch up after the wedding anyways.
On the way to my room, I passed the bridal suite, and Aisha happened to be poking her head out, looking in either direction. A gleaming smile lit up her face as she saw me. "Anoooooooj" she squealed. Aisha, Rohan and I met in college. They were both dating other people at the time, but had been good friends nevertheless. When six months ago Rohan broke the news to me, I was surprised to be sure, but glad all the same. They were perfect for each other.
Aisha pulled me into the room. I realised why her head had only been poking out. She was clad only in her underwear, evidently just out of the shower. While making the mandatory small talk, I couldn't help but slide my eyes over her exquisite physique. Skin the color of deep caramel, with tantalising tan lines that started deep within her panties. Almond shaped eyes, with a twinkle in them to die for. A mischievous smile, with adorable dimples, and a rosebud mouth that in a pout would make me agree with whatever she would be saying.
And her curves were truly drool worthy. Her breasts drew the gaze easily, luscious curves that dipped into her bra, but leaving plenty to appreciate. Her nippled strained against the fabric in the cold air, and the dip of her hips only served to accentuate her gorgeously curvaceous ass. I had loved walking behind her, watching that ass sway hypnotically.
She wrapped herself around me, her arms reaching high in the air to grab my neck, pulling my body into her. I felt her pillowy softness curl into me. We had been really good friends, even though we had lost touch, but she had evidently lost none of her comfort around me. I demurely slid my hands around her waist, she was warm to the touch, and her skin shivered under my caress. "It's been so long" She whispered. "Can you believe I'm getting married?" she giggled excitedly.
"Congratulations" I smiled, "I couldn't have dreamed up a better match myself, although its a mystery to me why you guys never got together before." She clung to me, walking on her tiptoes, and I leaned downwards, so she wouldnt have to struggle too much as she led me to the bed
"I guess everything has a time and place" She shrugged. She smiled that enigmatic smile of hers and added "I guess I was a bit distracted during college." as she kissed me on the cheek.
I smiled back at her as memories rose unbidden, of her playing footsie with me in the mess hall, and of walking back to dorm rooms half drunk and holding each other for support. "I'm sorry I wont be able to spend much time with you these days, a bride has her duties, but I hope we still get to spend some," At this point she stopped walking ahead of me abruptly and pushed her ass into me for a second, "quality time together at the very least"
We sat and talked for a bit, catching up on our lives, when a knock came at the door. "That must be Rhea, I was looking for her when you bumped into me" Aisha wrapped a robe around herself and secured it, before opening the door. I took this as my cue to leave and get some much needed shut eye. As I walked past the new entry, I had a sudden feeling that I would be having some extremely pleasant dreams to go with it.
Rhea was tall and willowy, her head bobbing somewhere a shade below my nose. Stunningly beautiful, a shy smile broadened across her face. Her eyes were an entrancing golden flecked brown, cute button of a nose, and long sinuous lines sketched her face. The curve of her neck was enticingly bordered by a curtain of raven black hair, mussed up by a day of activities. She was wearing a figure hugging T-shirt and jeans which accentuated her shapely physique. She definitely was someone who hit the gym, well delineated muscles pulsed as she stopped suddenly to say hello. She smelled like fresh garden air and flowers.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Anuj" I offered my hand, as she gave me a once-over in return. Her smile tugged to one side, evidently getting some ideas of her own.
"Rhea" she replied. "See you around" I promised, as Aisha pulled her in, and I went off to get some shut-eye. This wedding was looking to be quite promising indeed.
Rohan woke me up at around 2am from a dream where Rhea was draping her thighs over my shoulders, my phone buzzing with a command to head over to his room. In lieu of a proper bachelors night, we were gonna get hammered. The next morning only had the haldi ceremony, which Rohan was quite happy to use as a method to wash out a hangover.
I walked in and they had already started drinking. I was greeted by being handed a shot, poured sloppily into a plastic glass by one of our mutual acquaintances, Shreya. Shreya was more of Rohan's friend than mine, but we knew each other. There were four others in the room, Raj, Shreya's boyfriend and another mutual. And two other people I was introduced to as friends of Rohan from his school days, and to my suprise Rhea who I thought was Aisha's friend. Turns out she was Rohan's old school buddy. We knocked back a few drinks toasting to the good health of our mutual friend and king of the hour Rohan.
Slightly buzzed, as the conversation picked up between them, I sat back and nursed another drink. Rhea came and sat next to me. Shreya was engaging one of the others in a conversation about their relationships.
"what about you? are you in a relationship?" Rhea enquired demurely.
"Not right now" I demurred.
"I have a shitty boyfriend. We are probably going to break up once I get back" She declared, staring at the far corner.
I took a sip, "Want to talk about it?" I ventured.
"Nah, he kept breaking up with me over silly things.. And then he would apologise and want to get back together, only to repeat it all" She sighed. "You know, it all started once he asked me if I wanted to get married." She rested her head on my shoulder. "I mean, its not like I was rushing him into it. He asked me." She looked up at me through her long lashes "But basically he got spooked and then it got over" she blinked rapidly.
