The Time for Hope

This story will feature 3 doctors, Tom, Danny, Clara and a new person who gets swept up with the adventure. The three doctors will be the 10th (David Tennant), 11th (Matt Smith) and 12th (Peter Capaldi) the creatures will be the Daleks, Cybermen, the boneless and Soltarans. The 10th doctors story will be before the end of time when he regenerates, while he is travelling putting off going to the Ood planet. The 11th doctor will be during the time in between the day of the doctor and the time of the doctor. Finally the 12th doctor will be during the current series of doctor who. I will also mention events during the war doctor as seen in the book 'Doctor Who and the Engines of War'

It had been a few months since Clara had met Tom and the three of them were taking it in turns to travel to keep the friendships going. Both Clara & Danny took the Thursday and Friday off to go down to Wolverhampton using their time in loo to get the time back after parents evening. They were travelling to Wolverhampton together on Clara's motorbike when they parked up at the college that Tom was going to neither of them noticed anything out of the ordinary besides how empty it is on a Thursday morning at 8am.

They both saw Tom walk through the gates heading towards the main reception area so they walked to meet up with Tom and neither of them clocked the metal suit by the door way of B block. This turned out to be a cyberman but it just looked like something from the film department, Clara & Danny caught up with Tom in the canteen with someone from his course just talking. Tom didn't see Clara & Danny walk into the canteen area but his companion did.

"Those tutors are in early." Tom's companion said to him as Tom turned round both Clara waved at Tom whereas Danny stuck his hand up in acknowledgement of Tom's presence.

"What department do you think they work in?" Tom's companion said to him, his answer confused her.

"Coal Hill School." Tom said to his companion as he stood up to greet Clara & Danny as they approached the table him and his companion was sat at.

"Pleasure to see you two again, I didn't think you two were coming until later on tonight?" Tom said to Clara and Danny.

"We both had time in loo because of parents evening so we both chose to use it to finally see the college where you are studying at." Danny told Tom.

"Clara already saw it a few months ago when she visited me with the doctor after our adventure." Tom said to Danny, by this point he was well aware of the doctor and the adventure though he didn't know what had happened. Clara told Danny to ask Tom about the matter after all it was in his timeline. Danny up to that point didn't ask as it must've been something catastrophic if both Clara and the Doctor had to get involved. By this point they all heard Tom's companion clear her throat to get their attention.

"Oh I forgot Clara, Danny this is Rebecca. Rebecca this is Clara and Danny friends of mine." After Tom had introduced them to each other Danny shook Rebecca's hand and so did Clara. Rebecca was a dyed redhead, slim figure, nice eyes, 5 foot 6, she wore a rockers t-shirt promoting a rock band and a pair of blue jeans. She had medium breasts and a flat stomach.

The four people sat down at the table that Tom & Rebecca was sat at before Clara & Danny came in. They all chatted for a while and Danny after months of knowing Tom he finally asked the question. "So what happened with you meaning that Clara and the doctor had to assist you?"

"I will tell you Danny but you and Rebecca must promise to not tell anyone." Both Danny & Rebecca looked at each other before nodding to acknowledge that they understood Tom's condition. Tom took a deep breathe in before saying.

"I got found by a being called a weeping angel and I was sent back with a letter that arrived months before seemingly from my future self. When I was touched by the angel I was sent back in time to 14th December 1993 three days before I was born, I followed the letter against the doctor's warning that the envelope was used by physic material. Only to discover that it was a trap using my own history as the bait. Then in the winter of 1999 the event happened I was faced with a dilemma, do I change the past to try to change my own future losing people such as Clara, Sherlock , John and the doctor from my life or do I not change it let the event happen. Which would've mean I went through 14 years of bottling it up and have these people in my life and by extension you two."

"What was the event?" Rebecca asked her voice quiet as she was taking it in. Danny was also quiet as he didn't realise that this 20 year old went through such an all deal but it was about to get worse as Tom opened his mouth to answer Rebecca's question.

"I was raped at the age of 6 which the angel sent me back to change by one of the people who should've loved me unconditionally not rape me."

"Your dad?" Danny said in disbelief as he knew that rape happened but he didn't count on meeting someone who has gone through it themselves, also who is probably still goes through it daily if his experience in the army was anything to go by. Tom nodded at this signalling that Danny was right. But before anyone else could say a thing Rebecca piped up and said.

"Can I kill him now?" in a way that signalled disbelief, shock and hatred. That statement hung for a while until Clara spotted an outline of something approaching the college at 8:10am via the staff car park. As the object came closer it came into focus. It was a DALEK what could a Dalek be doing here.

"I think we better get going!" Clara said trying to keep her voice level remaining calm in the process, as the other three looked around to what had Clara spooked they all the Dalek approaching the back entrance to the college through the main hall. It seemed to hover automatically the movement was to fluid then they noticed that it had disappeared it was in the college. As they all stood up to walk out all of them picking up there bags without drawing any attention to them. The four got to the entrance to the reception area where the main entrance was for A block when they saw the eyestalk appear they ducked into a gap where the toilets were with a bit of luck they could sneak past when the Dalek went by.

"ARTRON ENERGY DETECTED PROCEEDING TO THE LOCATION, INFORMING HIGH COMMAND WE HAVE THE LOCATION." The Dalek screeched as it proceeded to head towards the canteen. Once it was in the canteen the four that was hiding in the gap by the toilets silently moved towards the entrance Tom made sure that Danny, Clara and Rebecca went first so if needed he could take the hit for them so they could escape. During this time they heard the Dalek screeched "EXTERMINATE!" before they heard screams coming from the canteen workers. When it was Tom's turn to move the Dalek was moving to see if there was any more victims it could exterminate.

They all got out of the college only to hear another metallic voice

"Artron energy detected!

" Clara heard this before saying to her companions "Run." Without any hesitation they all run up the road they didn't care where it led but they had to get away, Clara and Danny didn't know where they were heading whereas Tom and Rebecca knew the way and where it led. As Clara and Danny slowed down at one of the many side roads Tom shouted. "Go straight up towards the lights." The two picked up the speed while Tom slowed as Rebecca had stopped just to the side of that side road.

Tom couldn't leave Rebecca here as it is his fault that this is happening so Tom grabbed Rebecca's arm using his strength to pull her up as Rebecca's stamina came back Tom made sure that Rebecca was running in front of him though they both ran faster as near death would do that to people. As Tom & Rebecca approached the corner by the lights where they just saw Clara and Danny head round. They heard the Daleks voice echoing up from the college. "HALT OR BE EXTERMINATED." When a blast from the Daleks gun attachment struck the sign by the corner narrowly missing Tom but disintegrated the sign it hit.

With the Dalek

The Dalek heard a voice coming from behind it.

"Identify yourself."

As the Dalek spun around to see this metal man standing there, the Dalek scans showed human remains but encased in metal.

"IDENTIFY!"

"The Cybermen don't need to identify themselves."

The Dalek didn't need to repeat itself as it could identify from its scans what the Cyberman was. "YOU HAVE IDENTIFIED ARE THE INFERIOR SPECIES KNOWN AS THE CYBERMEN."

"You have identified yourself as the species known as the Daleks."

"Past experience proves Daleks must be upgraded to Cyber way of thinking."

"DAELKS DO NOT HAVE NEED TO BE UPGRADED. EXTERMINATE!" with that the Dalek fired the blast towards the Cyberman the blast struck the arm but the new Cybermen have made their armour stronger to survive a blast from other life forms including a Dalek. However this did mean that the Cyberman lost an arm.

"Upgrade in progress."

This signalled that the Cyberman had patched in a specific upgrade to itself and all other Cybermen as the Cyber-planner was inside every single cyber unit. As it fired a blast towards the Dalek but just as the blast hit the Daleks body as the shield that Daleks have kicked in neither of them spotted that the Cyberman as it was calling in reinforcements got taken from 3D to 2D. this meant that the Cyberman was pulled into the wall as it moulded to fit the wall and railings in a 2D perspective.

The Dalek was alerting high command as well as call reinforcements it was pulled into the floor as it mixed into the floor all that was left on the footpath was the blue prints for the Daleks including the eye stalk.

While the four were gathering their breath back Clara said to the rest of the group, "We need to call the doctor." Before Danny could object, Clara had her phone out and dialled 07700900461 to call the TARDIS when the doctor picked up he heard Clara say. "Doctor we need your help!"

With the 12th Doctor in the TARDIS

The doctor was manually updating the TARDIS databanks making sure that 'the boneless' was in the memory banks ready so if they come back to this plane the doctor would be ready. He was part way through when the phone started to ring, the doctor gingerly & cautiously approached the door opening it to move the sign where the phone was kept. He picked up the receiver and greeted the person on the other end of the phone with a "This is the doctor." Only to hear Clara say her voice filled with terror.

"Doctor we need your help!" The doctor began throwing switches as he checked the scanner he pinpointed the location of Clara based off her phone number as he threw the switch to dematerialise as he landed nearby where Clara was he made sure that nothing living was where the TARDIS would land as it would become atomised (blasted into atoms).

They all felt a strong wind appear out of nowhere which was accompanied with a loud wheezing, groaning sound as the TARDIS punched its way into reality where the doors opened once the TARDIS had fully materialised the doctor was thrown from the TARDIS as he was stepping out just when the TARDIS shrunk. (as seen in flatline) "The Boneless are back."

This made the doctor nervous as he was now facing an enemy that hides in human perception. This meant that the threat that Clara phoned about was becoming greater with beings from a 2D plain trying to assert themselves into the 3D plain. Rebecca & Danny was silent up to this point as they were trying to take in the fact that a blue box known to Clara, Tom and Danny as the TARDIS materialised out of thin air just before them concealing a man called The Doctor who was an elderly gent looked in his late 50s who wore a black outfit. That they both could see had red velvet lined inside the jacket that he wore.

Before they could say anything all 5 of them saw two spaceships enter the lower atmosphere which made the ground shake as a transmat disc was placed over the group of 5 and the small TARDIS taking them into a ship that was in the lower atmosphere. As the group looked around they saw that they were surrounded by Daleks where only the doctor and Clara knew what they were. "The Dalek Parliament." The doctor said out loud so that they knew where they all were.

"Well here we are again in the Dalek Parliament the heart of this version of the Dalek race. Come on then you have been trying to kill me for centuries here is your chance!" the doctor shouted trying to get something out of the Daleks. He threw his arms to the side but his speech was short lived as he heard the Daleks say this.

"SAVE US!"

This stunned everyone. "What again can't you lot do it."

"SCANS SHOW CREATURES ABOVE OUR SCANS AND PERCEPTION. WE RECEIVED A CALL FOR BACK UP FROM A DALEK UNIT ONLY TO FIND THIS AT THE LAST KNOWN LOCATION." The Dalek Prime minster said as Dalek Supreme punched up a live feed from earth of where the Dalek was. Where the Dalek stood just before the Boneless eliminated the Dalek there was the Dalek mutant nervure system laid.

"Interesting they have dissected the Dalek pulling the mutant from the casing. This is why you need my help as the Dalek race is threatened. I might just let the Boneless annihilate you lot." The doctor turned to join his companions as he was walking around doing certain calculations in his head while he talked.

"DOCTOR! YOU WILL HELP US OR YOUR COMPANIONS WILL BE EXTERMINATED."

"You want my help they live and you lot need to follow my orders as I know how to fight these creatures." The doctor retorted as he fought with the Dalek Prime minister for the power in the situation.

"DOCTOR! WE CALL A TRUCE UNTIL THE THREAT TO THE DALEKS HAS BEEN EXTERMINATED."

"Right so first I need my companions to be on earth so I can gather information to defeat them."

"NO DOCTOR YOUR CONPANIONS STAY HERE!"

"Good look trying to fight the Boneless without my help." While the doctor was saying this he had soniced the panel in the Dalek ship along with pressing random symbols in quick succession in a bizarre order that even the Daleks could not follow it. After this sequence was completed the miniature TARDIS began to dong as it did when the doctor was in trouble exactly like when the doctor was trapped in the pocket universe when the TARDIS finally trusted Clara. This noise was followed by yellow light emitting from Tom's eyes as the TARDIS Database was uploading to Tom's mind as out of the 4 companions the doctor had he had more experience dealing with mind altering changes.

The doctor then engaged the teleporter to get his four companions back to earth out of the way of the Daleks leaving only the doctor on the Dalek ship. They were teleported to where they were when the Daleks teleported them up. "What do we do now we have no knowledge or idea what we are supposed to do." Clara said out loud to the group. By this point the yellow of the heart of the TARDIS faded away letting Tom's eyes go back to normal.

"We need to find a way to get the exterior dimensions back to the TARDIS so that the doctor can do his thing sending everyone away." Tom replied.

"How do you know that?" Clara said to Tom.

"I have the TARDIS memory banks in my head as the doctor was slaving the panel in the Dalek ship to allow one of us to experience a mind altering event, The Doctor knows that I have experienced that and still experiences it with the going through the rape."

"So we need to head into town and figure this out?" Rebecca asked still unsure of how she got dragged into this. The four started walking into town as they still talked amongst themselves to keep up the illusion that everything was fine that was until they walked past one of the streets by a underground path taking them into a forest area below the ring road leading into Wolverhampton town centre. The person that was blocking one of the paths was not a Dalek but a Soltaran decked out in the typical clone outfit complete with helmet. It's voice was slightly muffled but they all could see that it had a gun.

As it approached the small group that was talking to each other the Soltaran repeated what it said a few moments ago.

"Halt in the glory of the Soltaran empire."

"Now there is a perfectly good explanation here" Tom started to say while he was trying to move around the other side of the Soltaran to try and force the Soltaran to turn around or just to keep it talking while he grabbed the sharp stick that he spotted just around the back of the Soltaran.

"We are facing an unknown enemy that can kill us whenever it feels like, it killed the Cybermen and Daleks and they are gathering around you right now. Send a message to the Soltaran ship telling them to stay off earth until they have been dealt with." Tom said to the Soltaran as he lied about them being around the Soltaran in the attempt to get it to retreat. By this point Tom had moved round to where the sharp stick was with any luck he could use it to make it collapse by blocking the vent temporarily giving them enough time to get away.

"Soltarans don't retreat human we fight and die for the Soltaran empire."

"Suit yourself." Tom said before lodging the stick in the vent as the Soltaran fell to the floor dropping the gun to the floor as Danny stepped over the body to retrieve the gun the Soltaran was now become drawn into the floor as the Boneless were busy absorbing the Soltaran as it went into the 2D world.

"Split up!" Danny shouted to Rebecca and Clara leaving them to go around the long way while Danny and Tom went the original way with the Soltarans gun to try and make themselves look threatening to draw the Boneless away from the ladies. As they ran through the small forest they noticed that all around them the trees, bushes and ledges were disappearing even the entrances they were walking down. As Danny and Tom ran they just made it through the entrance they were heading to before it became 2D.

They were in a pitch black tunnel but they kept running forwards sprinting up the stairs as the boneless was trying to get three steps ahead making them 2D from 3D Danny managed to make it up the stairs whereas Tom only just cleared the stairs when the final step was taken from the Boneless. As the pair slowed for a quick breather they looked across the road only to see Clara and Rebecca directly opposite as they had to take the longer way around although the 4 could see all the railings, cars and traffic lights were being pulled into 2D where humans could not function other than as a source of energy allowing the boneless to enter the 3D plain.

The four decided to run into town whereas they were all keeping up with each other and they had no idea what to do as the Boneless was coming through stronger than before this wasn't just in the UK this was a global invasion! Both tom & Clara knew that they had to call the TARDIS number again to get other versions of the doctor in to help. First they had to get somewhere much larger and open as only the current TARDIS had the energy to project a force field blocking the Boneless.

They all got into town but they had to split up once again where Tom ran towards costa coffee where he was due to meet his friend he didn't want any of his friends to become a victim and Danny still brandishing the Soltarans gun ran after Tom where Rebecca and Clara ran towards the statue of the man on the horse.

Tom had just got in through the door when he ran into his friend Callum. Callum was 6 foot 1 inch, slim build, tall, brown hair and facial features of a 20 year old with less worry lines and bags under their eyes. "Hey mate what is going on?" Callum asked his voice half way in between being deep and high pitched.
