I parked my Mercedes in front of the large estate. I shook my head at how big the place was. I knocked on the door and waited patiently. Kim Kardashian West opened the door, causing me to use all of my strength to not awe or stare stupidly.
"Hey Kim." I said trying to keep my voice even.
"Duncan! So good to see you!" She said before pulling me in for a hug. She held me tighter than usual, while I did my best to keep my hands at a respectable distance from her incredible backside. I was looking down at it from her shoulder, and the way her yoga pants were hugging her frame, it would be hard for a catholic nun not to stare. "Kanye is in his studio downstairs."
"Oh thanks." I said breaking the hug and walking towards the stairs.
"Hey Duncan." I heard her say. "Let me know if you need anything. Anything at all." She added with a seductive glint in her eye. I nodded before rushing to the basement. Kanye had set up his own studio down here so that he could get some work done whenever the mood hit. He was sitting behind a large console writing on a yellow notepad.
"Kanye, you okay?" I asked noticing how tired he looked.
"Yeah, man." He said unconvinced. "Just trying to get this done."
"What are you working on?" I asked him.
"I don't even know." He said throwing the pad aside. ."I've been down here all night. Just needed to do something to stop thinking."
"Stop thinking about what?" I asked him sitting across from me.
"Kim..She's pissed at me."
"Oh, I'm sorry. What happened?" I asked him leaning back in the comfortable chair.
"She caught me. Like you know.. Caught me." He explained.
"Oh damn."
"Yeah damn. It was mad stupid. I fucked up. She won't even look at me."
"Just give her some time. You guys have always been strong. You'll make it through this."
"I hope so. Just kind of different this time. Like she's caught me before you know? Like not caught, cuz we kinda have an understanding." I smiled at that thinking about my own.
"So why is this time any different?"
"I slept with one of her friends. She ain't taking that too well."
"Any ideas what you can do to make it up to her?" I asked.
"I don't know yet. But I'd do anything." He admitted seeming bothered. "Anyways, you sounded excited over the phone, what's up?" He asked wanting to switch the conversation to something else.
"I don't know if this is the right time." I said feeling a little guilty.
"Nah, please. I need to get this outta my head. What you need?"
"I've been working on a play.. A musical actually."
"Oh yeah, that sounds interesting. You went from Hollywood Super Agent to Theater in a quick minute."
"I sure did! You know me, I can't stay in one place too long."
"Everyone in this town knows how you get around." Kanye joked. "But you got your girl back now. That should damper the number of miles you put down."
"Nah." I told him. "We got an arrangement too."
"AH! Nice. I knew I liked that Tori." He laughed. "Just make sure you don't fuck the wrong girl. You gonna lose them privileges quick."
"Don't worry, I know."
"So what you need my help with on this?" He said bringing it back towards the project.
"I need songs. In the script." I said bringing it out. "I'm trying to get a few different types from different people."
"Alright, I'm down. Let me look this over today, come by tomorrow and we'll see what we got."
"Tomorrow? You sure? It's kind of a big day isn't it?" I asked.
"What?" He said confused. "Oh snap, that's true, it's your first time at the Grammys." I nodded. "It ain't no thing. Just come by early, we'll work for a few hours. You'll have plenty of time to get your sexy on before the show."
"Okay." I said unable to smile.
"Hold up." He said looking through the first few pages of the book. "Ahh I see you trying to get your girl to lead this huh?" I only nodded. "Aight you can stay home tomorrow. Send her over."
"What?"
"Yeah, I'm gonna be working directly with her vocals. Don't nobody need you here for that."
"You're kicking me out?" I asked feigning hurt.
"Yup! Want to surprise you when it's all done." He said smiling.
"You got it." I said shaking his hand. "Thanks."
"No need to thank me." He said before I went back up the stairs. Kim was in the kitchen as I walked by.
"Duncan, you're leaving already?" She said in a sexy little voice.
"Oh yeah, I just came to ask him for a favor. I have somewhere to be." I told her with my hand on the doorknob.
"Well, please, come back around soon." She said coming to hug me once more. "We don't see enough of each other." She finished before breaking the hug.
"I will!." I said fighting back the thoughts I was having. "Have a good day." I told her finally opening the door.
"You too Duncan." She said as I closed the door behind me and rushed to my car.

I parked my car across the street from the IN Talent offices. There was a large crowd of reporters and I was already late. This wasn't about me, and I wanted to keep it that way. I stayed in the background and watched Kara walk towards the podium. She looked absolutely incredible in a black dress that was both sexy while remaining professional.
"Welcome." She said into the mic. "With the departure of one of our very best agents, we had to find someone who could be capable of taking on the task. There were many great candidates, but one in particular shone through. She's been doing incredible work on her own and we cannot wait to see what she does from here on out. Ladies and Gentlemen, we'd like to introduce you, to IN Talent's newest agent, Sue Owens."
You could feel the shock and surprise course through the crowd. Sue walked onstage looking just as great as Kara. I could tell from where I was standing that she was a little flustered. She had practically been in hiding for so long, this had to have been a shock to the system. But she was taking it all in stride, and I knew she belonged.
"You did this." I heard someone say standing near me. It was Jessica Chastain.
"No, I really didn't." I answered looking at her beautiful body in a tight fitting white dress.
"You don't take compliments very well, do you?" She asked with a gorgeous smile, the perfect shade of lipstick she had chosen, made it hard to look away.
"When it's deserved." I replied watching Sue take questions. She was charming the crowd.
"Well you look really nice today." Jessica tossed my way, throwing me off.
"Thank you." I said trying to hold back a blush.
"Ahhh, someone's blushing." She joked.
"No i'm not. You look good too." I said trying to get the attention off of me.
"I know!" She acknowledged placing her hands on her hips. We laughed before focusing on the conference. Kara and Sue held hands and lifted them in triumph. The cameras took pictures as the sea of reporters clapped.
"You hungry?" I asked Jessica.
"I could eat."
"I know a place." I told her, leading her to a side entrance of the building.
"Ah I've heard of this place." She told me as we walked inside of Brad's restaurant. "I've never had the chance to eat here."
"Well, you're welcome. You'll love the food."
"It's full though." She said noticing all of the tables were packed.
"I know a guy." I told her, catching Brad's eye. He smiled at me and held up two fingers. I nodded and he asked me to come through. "Come on." I told Jessica.
"Okay, that was pretty cool." She said following closely. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were trying to impress me."
"Well good thing you know better than. You're the last person I would try to impress." I joked.
"Aww, was I really that bad to you?" She asked with a smirk.
"I mean, you didn't put a gun to my face. So in perspective, I suppose not."
"Perspective is good." She agreed with another glorious smile.
"Thanks Brad." I told him when he showed us our table. It was hidden away from the rest of the restaurant, in a quiet nook near Brad's office. "You know Jessica. Jessica this is Brad."
"Nice to meet you." Brad said holding his hand out to her.
