Life is too short to not take advantage of every opportunity, I thought as I stared at Sebastian Stan sitting at a table having lunch with his friend.
He was wearing a blue shirt that showed his muscular arms and some dark pants. He smiled as he conversed with who I knew to be Anthony from The Avengers.
His bright eyes landed on me as he looked around the restaurant, he winked quickly before taking his attention back to his friend.
"I'm going for it!" I grinned at my friend who was coaxing me.
"Do it!" she laughed.
"Yeah, I mean I'm a strong independent woman!" I laughed getting ready.
"Yeah you are!" she agreed.
"Okay here I go." I stood up and fixed my cleavage before walking over with my smile.
They both turned to me as I made it to the table, I grinned nervously and chickened out.
My friend laughed as I turned around quickly and returned to our table.
"What was that!" she bellowed.
"I lost my nerve when he looked up at me." I sighed and looked over at him.
Sebastian was smiling like he knew what had happened, it was obvious but still. The amused look on his face made me blush.
"Dude when will you have this chance again?" she asked leaning in and laughing.
"I know!" I groaned preparing to try again.
"Look just go and say the first thing that comes to your mind." She tried helping.
"Okay, yeah!" I nodded and stood up again.
"Go get him tiger!" she called behind me.
My heels clicked on the floor and announced my arrival before I could say hi.
"You going to say hi this time?" he lightly chuckled at my silence.
"Yeah I planned on it, hi." I licked my lip and smiled down at him.
"Hello," he responded crossing his legs.
"You know, I'm just going to say it," I started sitting down next to him. "You seem like a nice guy and I would love to get to know you, but I really want to have sex with you tonight." I couldn't believe I blurted that out.
"Well that was forward," he said as his eyes unremorsefully rolled over my body.
"You have to take every opportunity that the universe gives you right?" I responded tilting my head to the right.
"That is sound advice," he teased.
"Yeah it is, you should take it and apply it to your day!" I laughed looking over at Anthony who was grinning. "Don't you think so?" I asked him.
Anthony nodded with a laugh "Oh, I sure do."
"See your friend thinks so to." I rested my elbow on the table and stared at Sebastian. "What do you have to lose?"
"Not sure just yet," Sebastian sighed.
"Times up Gabby," my friend said as she walked by us after having paid the bill.
"Tell you what," I grabbed his hand and took a pen from my pocket. "If you decide you want to take a walk in the waters of desire then I will be home at 8 pm, this is my address and you are welcome at any hour of the night, don't show up wasted or you will sleep alone on my couch." I wrote my address on his forearm along with my nickname, Gabby.
"You would make me sleep on the couch?" he laughed.
"Fuck yeah, I need you at least a little sober to get what I want from you!" I tucked the pen back in my pocket and stood up. "It was nice meeting you Sebastian."
"What is it you want from my boy here?" Anthony asked curiously for the both.
"Oh, darling if you have to ask then you won't ever know, if you knew then you wouldn't have to ask," I teased and started walking away.
"Bye Gabby!" Sebastian called as I walked through the door. I turned around and blew him a kiss before leaving,
"I can't believe you did that!" my friend laughed as we continued our day of shopping.
"Well what else was I supposed to do!" I asked picking out a new shirt and holding it up to myself in a mirror.
"Uh I don't know, maybe, hey your cute want to have dinner later?" she shook her head and rummaged through a rack.
"Well I said what came to my mind first!" I laughed and walked to a different rack.
Later that night I waited until ten before hopping in the shower and putting on some shorts and a tank. I guess he wouldn't be coming.
I poured a glass of wine and sat on the balcony watching the night sky.
It was about midnight when there was a light knock on my door. A smile formed on my face knowing it was him, no one else would be at my door so late.
He was standing with one of his hands in his pocket and the other holding a small bouquet of flowers, spring assortment nothing fancy.
"Sorry it's late, I had an interview," he explained before I said anything and held the flowers up to me. "Thought I'd bring you these as a peace offering," he smirked.
"Mhm, there nice," I laughed and pulled him into the apartment.
Once the door was locked I walked to the kitchen and picked out a vase, "Future reference, my favorite are daffodils, the yellow with the orange center." I smiled setting the vase with water on the counter.
"I'll be sure to remember that," he said.
"Good, I love gifts," I replied taking the flowers from him and setting the in the vase. "You want something to drink, I opened a bottle of wine a bit ago it's a red, supposedly with hints of orange."
"Supposedly?" he laughed.
"Honestly, that's what the wine store guy said, I literally have no idea what he was talking about it tastes nothing like oranges!" I complained as I poured him a glass.
He shook his head and sat up on a stool. "Why did you buy it then?"
"I was told the wine I like is dessert wine and I should expand my horizons." I walked over and wedged myself between his legs as I held the glass up for him.
"Well, let's taste this then," he eyed my current position and sipped at the wine. I smiled and planted my palms on his thick thighs. "You're right, no orange flavor, but it is good, I'll give you that."
"Now that I know you like it, I may have to stock up." I squeezed his thighs before moving my hands further up.
"I'm sure I'll like anything you have to offer," he set the glass down and leaned over pressing his lips to mine.
The heat in my body climbed to a dangerous level as I moved to my tippy toes to deepen the kiss. He wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me in to him. My mind danced with anticipation as my tongue pushed passed his lips easily and rubbed against his. I laughed a bit as I realized I was trying to tie his tongue in a knot, like a cherry stem.
