Ike, Amanda, and Teo arrive on earth
Ike settled down at his desk on the Barque and started sorting through everything in his inbox. It might be all computerized but it was still considered an inbox. When he found the video of the Grand Marshal calling he watched it. It only to a few moments for him to call back, "I'm Admiral Demopolus and need to talk to the Grand Marshal. He left a message for me.
"Morning Admiral, give me a moment." He put the admiral on hold before sending a message to the Marshall, "Sir I have Admiral Ikarius Demopolus on the line for you." He quickly transferred the connection over.
"Admiral, I've come across some information you need. We have identified a pirate base and wish to do a joint exercise to deal with it." He also had a beard though it didn't bristle as Ike's did.
Ike let a slow grin cross his face, "Give me a few days and I'll come up with the support needed. I can feel my forces wanting to deal with this. I'll call you the day after tomorrow about this." He disconnected and contacted the secretary of the military.
"Sir, we have information on a location of a pirate base. I have received information indicating they have ten light ships, an old battle wagon, and a light fighter carrier. This needs to be dealt with." Ike was doing his best to keep his grin from showing.
Secretary Hogan looked at the admiral and grinned, "Give me two days and I will have orders cut. I feel a need to have the seventh fleet do some exercises." No way in hell was he going to let anyone know this was an attack until they were underway. He would call it a check on the colony systems. Once they were in hyper communication would be restricted since they didn't have hyper communications as of yet. They knew the Sholan's did but it wasn't a tech they had given them. From what he understood they didn't have the tech level. It required science they didn't have yet.
"Not a problem. I am going to talk to our allies and see if they might have some assistance they can provide. Just the fighters alone would be a nice addition to our fleet." He had seen what those fighters could do and they were hyper capable. What else they might be able to provide he didn't know.
Once they had disconnected he finally stood and left his office. He headed towards Teo's office and walked in. He was forced to sit down when he talked to her assistant, "Need to talk to Teo." He took the cup of tea from the man and closed his eyes for a moment due to being tired.
"She is with the Clan Lord. I'll contact her and let her know you are here. Relax sir, I know you are still recovering." He sent a message to Teo that Ike was there. He knew Amanda was currently asleep in Teo's bed since she was recovering even more than the others.
When Teo came out Ike gave her a tired smile, "Sorry to bother you but we have an issue to deal with." He stood and yawned since he was so tired. He knew Amanda was asleep in Teo's quarters and chances were good he would be shortly as well.
Teo wrapped an arm around Ike and walked with him into her office, "Sit, relax, what do you need Ike?" She settled down next to him, "This is Clan Lord Anddar. He arrived just before Mandy was flown to the Fijishi."
"A pirate base has been identified and I am here to ask if you could provide support to take it out. We can do it but it would cost damage to our ships. Based on the capability of the enemy ships taking damage is going to compromise our ability to protect our systems. I don't want to beg but can you please help?" He was tired enough that he wasn't quite all there. He was begging and it showed. He had to protect his planet and their people.
Anddar didn't bother asking for anything from Ike for what he was asking, "We will provide fighters to help. There are several frontline combatants which are going to arrive shortly. I will ensure they are detailed to provide support." He looked at the man and could see he was recovering from the illness, "Go and relax Admiral. You also Teo. I know you have been sick and you need to recover. I'll take care of this so you can sleep." He stood and left the office.
Ike wanted to thank him but he was almost asleep when the man left, "Damn it! I want to keep working but not happening." He staggered to his feet and with the help of Teo he worked his way into her bedroom and to the bed. It took the last of his energy to pull most of his clothes off before he laid down and fell asleep.

Hyper drone and scout ship
When they hyper drone arrived back at the scout ship the captain looked at the orders. They were pretty much what he had expected. Remain, keep scouting the system and report in weekly. Chances were good they were going to send a fleet to deal with the issue and he needed to have as much information for them as possible. It was going to take time but they had been doing pretty much as requested.
The probes had been going out and being collected on a scheduled basis. Once the fleet arrived he would have enough information on the pirates to help. Even if some of the ships left he had their hyper signature so they would be identified later. It was the same with the freighters who were providing support for them. It was going to take time to identify all of them but once the information was passed out it would help.
He called his officers to his conference room and started telling them what was needed. He trusted his crew but had locked down any sort of communications just in case. If anyone tried to contact the pirates he would know.

His parents looked at him before looking at Dani, "Why would we object? She is your Leska and it is your right. It isn't needed but good for you son." G'Eron gave his son a pleased look, "We taught our son well. He is doing right by his Leska."
