Los Angeles, California
Birds chirped as the blur of cars passing through the streets made little action in the scenery. The motor sounds were faint, unless someone was leaving the park to step onto the sidewalks. A dirt path led past tall trees and onto fresh green grass. The path branched off in the center of the park, leading to multiple paths to cover paths in four ways. All of them led outside to sidewalks back into the city. Benches were lined under trees along the way to give shade to anyone sitting to enjoy the warm weather and outdoor ambience. The daytime saw many different people come and go before the sunset. During the afternoon hours on week days, a couple made it a routine to walk in the park and have a seat at the same bench for the past month. The event had become routine for them to the point that the park security recognized the man and woman.
Life had not been kind to Demi Rose Mawby in the past seven months. Everything in her world went into a tailspin when she was dropped from an agency. The British glamour model became stuck in the state of California during the aftermath of her fading career. She thought that she had her FansOnly content to fall back on. Little did she know the contract she signed with management took that from her. She could still post photoshoots, but the days of seeing a profit from it were over. All had felt lost and hopeless for her. The career she had as an independent model was quickly fading away. Her former management created a façade online by recycling her content over the past four years. Demi had no control over it anymore. She felt that the agency had taken advantage of her. All she had left was her friends and loyal boyfriend, who had kept her sane over the past several months.
Demi felt she could rely on Osmar Johnson. He had seen her pain and been there to give her a shoulder to lean on. He was in his mid-twenties, but Demi was unsure how old he truly was since he had yet to have a birthday. His hair extended past his ears, brushed in swoops with a split down the side. He was taller than her with a slim body, dark hair, and sporting a black beard and mustache with his face. That was his normal appearance, but today he had shaved his face clean. His brown eyes matched hers. Demi met him on a trip to Egypt last year. By the time they committed to a relationship, they found themselves traveling to Spain, England, and finally to the United States, where they were currently lingering. Neither of them had the cash to leave and go back home to Ibiza. Demi's luxury home was bought and paid for, but people who worked at the management company had seized it like a piece of territory. She knew better than to go back alone.
"I can't help but wonder what we'd be doing if we were in London right now."
Osmar spoke as he leaned back on the bench. Demi's eyes wandered over to his kind face. His smile was enough for her to forget about stresses at the moment. Osmar was a businessman whose stock trading had hit hard times when he first met Demi. Early in their relationship, they bonded over similar interests with traveling and sex. He was drawn to Demi's voluptuous body, and she reveled in the attention he gave her. Before the downturn of her career, she was proud to show off. Now they bonded over the hard times, barely able to enjoy life with their own money they had earned from their respective career choices.
"I miss the Ibiza sunsets. There's nothing more beautiful than watching the sun sink in those waters."
Demi replied as she leaned back with him on the bench. She was wearing a yellow crop top, revealing a bit of her cleavage as it contained her large breasts. Her thick booty was hidden in a matching skirt that complimented her choice of shirt. Demi's long brunette hair was pinned behind her in a loose ponytail, so Osmar could see every inch of her lovely face. His casual outfit of the day was a simple blue polo shirt with three buttons and a pair of denim blue jeans.
"I think we'll see them again. Just got to get through the times right now."
His reply was reassuring as ever. Osmar wasn't sure how they could get her business back, but he was still confident. Demi would talk often about having a 'lucky break' somewhere down the line. She tried to regain control of her FansOnly page through a few connections she had. As the months went on, she wasn't sure if it would ever work out. They couldn't live off each other's savings forever. Every day, Demi thought of how much money she could be spending right now on new outfits and photography sessions. Now wasn't the time to think about this. She just wanted to sit back and enjoy the beautiful day outside, so Demi changed the subject.
"I think we should find a movie to watch tonight."
"Oh yeah? What do you have in mind then?"
"I don't know. Maybe like Snow White. It's one of my favorites. I need something to relax to."
As he smiled, the sound of footsteps could be heard rustling among the leaves and grass nearby. Neither of them paid it much attention since strangers were always passing through. A few seconds later, a shadow fell over them. Demi turned to see a man standing in front of the park bench wearing a black suit. The jacket was undone to show a white shirt tucked in and a navy blue tie. His face was clean shaven. Pale skin and fading brown hair gave a hint of his age.
"Who are you two?"
The man greeted them with a question in a low voice.
"We're a couple."
Osmar's reply made the man raise his eyebrows. He looked over at Demi whom now had his complete attention.
"Who are you, sir?"
Her English accent made him smile.
"I'm Drew Warner. Are you Miss Demi Rose Mawby?"
"As a matter of fact, yes I am."
She offered a friendly smile. Osmar was taken aback by how this stranger seemed to know her identity.
"I've been looking forward to meeting you this week, Miss Mawby. I wasn't sure where to find you."
"How did you find me?"
"There was a rumor going around that you were in L.A. Some people didn't believe it was true, but I did."
As he spoke, Osmar quietly thought to himself. They had a few friends in L.A., and Demi had a new hidden social media account. Maybe they had been in town long enough for a rumor to circulate.
"What do you want from me?"
Drew smiled at Demi's question.
"I've come to give you an offer that you can't refuse."
He cracked up, laughing in an almost hoarse voice.
"That's what I always tell girls when I see them in person like this."
"I'm going to assume that you tried to contact me by my FansOnly page or social media profiles?"
The older man shook his head.
"I have not. I wouldn't know if I was really talking to you if I did that."
