This morning was a bit hectic at the diner, but now that it was 11am, the rush had stopped and Rachel felt like she could finally calm down for a moment. She lived in a normally slow and small town, but the past few weeks have been very different. Recently a movie studio had rented out some of the land and buildings to use for a new movie that was being shot. This meant brining in a bunch of people for setup, production, and casting all were now coming by and flooding the local town.
The town only had one hotel so most people were a few miles north in a bigger town with more hotels for their evenings, but they all seemed to wait to eat until they got into town. Rachel worked at the dinner normally only once or twice a week to cover a shift, but with the excess business she was asked to help each weekday for a while. She wasn't doing it for the money so that wasn't what made her say yes, it was because the owner of the diner was just so kind and amazing.
When Rachel and her husband moved to town, they were the first to greet them and they always treated them so kindly and were always so helpful. Her husband got sent there to find a new location for his company, as well as start up the branch in that town. It took a bit but after 5 years, and the year before Rachel and TJ both turned 30.
That was an important age to the two of them as they wanted to be starting a family by then. With TJ getting the branch up and running, as well as even help with planning and new expansions for the company, they were in a very good spot to start a family. TJ did want to raise the kids in a bigger city, but his wife did bring up great points for staying in the small town, including the ability to keep there rather large house and acres of land.
The conversation also went smoothly in Rachel favor as she had it while the two were in bed together, and coincidentally her also in a pair of sexy blue lace bra and panties. Even being star struck by Gwen, Rachel still found herself having many conversations with her. The two talked about Gwen's children, Rachel even divulging about her own desires to get pregnant. Rachel at times fan girling out talking about watching Gwen's shows and movies, and listening to her songs. Gwen told Rachel about her past over the many lunches they shared, and Rachel did the same.
While Rachel did stay till 1 each day, she stopped working at noon, and her last hour was always spent chit chatting with Gwen. That day was probably going to be the same for Rachel, as it was Friday anyways, and she believed the movie was only going to be there another week or two based off conversations with Gwen.
Finally 11:45 rolled around and a moment later, Gwen was walking in and heading to her usual table towards the back of the diner. Since she came in daily, it was easy for the diner to make that happen, and since Rachel was the one still on shift each day, she easily made it work.
As normal Rachel was taken back by her beauty. She is well shorter than Rachel as she only stands 5'2, but since she is always in heels she looks a bit taller. Rachel went and grabbed the tea for Gwen, and headed back to the table, seeing Gwen was already looking at the menu again. Rachel was rather surprised as she seemed to be trying a bunch of different items, rather than going with the same thing, like Rachel herself did during all their lunch 'dates.'
"So what will the famous lady be having today?" Rachel teased Gwen as she walked up and placed the tea next to her.
"Hey!" Gwen playfully replied. "I'm just simple ole Gwen when I'm here. Mother, worker, and taster of food." She added with a laugh.
The two talked for a moment and Gwen picked what she was having. Rachel went and placed the order along with her own order and grabbed a water and headed back to the booth to sit with Gwen.
When Rachel got back to the booth and sat down, Gwen asked her. "So what are your small town plans for the weekend?" A thing Gwen liked to joke with Rachel about as she would always talk about missing the city where she could just go out and shop, or see new things at times.
"Probably relaxing. TJ has to go away next week for a few days so he usually likes to just be home before those. Maybe the hot tub one night since it's finally nice out." Rachel added hoping to get some alone time with her husband, maybe get another shot a trying to a kid.
Gwen looked at her a bit shocked and smiled, "you have a hot tub and this is the first I'm hearing of it?"
Rachel laughed, she hadn't really thought about it before as the weather hadn't been the best for it lately, and up until two weeks ago, the area and tub were still dirty.
"Yeah we just got a cleaned a few weeks ago, and if finally seems like the perfect time to use it. Does your mansion on wheels not have that." Rachel teased Gwen. Gwen had shown Rachel pictures of her trailer, and if you didn't know it was a trailer you would think she was in a fancy home.
It had a kitchen area, sleeping area's with a huge and comfy looking bed. Bathrooms and even a place for Gwen to do her workouts in the morning.
"No." Gwen laughed as she said. "The portable mansion doesn't have that, best I can do is the bath tub with hot water." She joked.
Rachel didn't even think she just said her next comment. "Well you can always come enjoy ours if you want."
Before she could even start to worry about what she said, Gwen looked at her and said with a smile. "I would love that. That is so kind of you. Honestly an evening away from that trailer and work would be glorious." Gwen said.
With Gwen's reaction and quick acceptance, Rachel went from a moment of worry, to pure happiness and eagerness. She was going to have this amazing, accomplished, talented woman in her home. And not just in her home, but in her hot tub.
She began to worry for a moment. What would TJ say? Would he be able to not be awkward about how famous this woman is? Would he just stare at her in the hot tub? Then it hit her, would she just stare at her too?
Rachel got out of her head for a moment to respond. "Amazing, what night works best for you." She asked just letting the woman plan it and she would figure out how to make it all work after.
"Well you said TJ was going out of town next week and wanted to just rest, so if it's not to much why not tonight. Gives you both the whole weekend to relax." Gwen responded with a happy smile.
Rachel was giddy, she didn't see why it wouldn't work, so she quickly agreed.
"Perfect, shooting should wrap today around 6:30, so after a shower and call back to the kiddos, I could be over to you by 9ish." Gwen said.
"A late night hot tub session in the country is never something you pass down." Rachel said agreeing to Gwen's plans.
The two talked more about Rachel and TJ's house, Gwen wanting to know what other things Rachel was hiding about the house. At the end of lunch Gwen asked for Rachel's phone and put her cell phone number in and texted herself. She told Rachel she would text her when she was on the way over, as Rachel provided her the address earlier on a piece of paper she eagerly wrote and gave over.
