Peter Parker stood atop a building one of the many skyscrapers in New York- thinking about his former wife, Mary Jane. She had been stolen away by the evil villain, bane of Peters existence, Paul. Paul plagued Peters mind more than any villain because he had succeeded in doing what so many had failed at- taking away the love of his life.
But he still had a great responsibility as Spider-Man. He couldn't let his depression keep him down, keep him from being the hero he needed to be. Looking down at the streets of New York, he noticed police cars swarming on a bank.
Spider-Man leapt into action, swinging towards the action. He landed on top of the roof, peeking inside through a window on the side. The alarm was on, red flashing all throughout the building. Stepping inside, Spider Man ran towards the vault. He had been here before, this was a common target for criminals.
Suddenly, his spidey sense went off. Flipping into the air, blasts of hardened sand went flying under him. Turning to meet his attacker it was none other than The Sandman.
"Sandman? I thought you were better than robbing banks, Marko" Spiderman said as he shot a web at the Sandman, and he shrugged it off, unaffected by the webslingers attack.
"You have no idea what its like to be me, Spiderman! People treat me like a monster, I'll never be as a hero. And it doesn't pay as well!" Marko launched a giant fist of sand towards Spiderman, barely missing him as it crashed into the wall. "I'll always be a monster!"
"Maybe if you would quit turning banks into sandcastles, people would get along with you better." Spiderman quipped, landing behind Sandman and unleashing a flurry of punches in quick success to no avail
"You know you can't hurt me!" The villain laughed as he whipped around, slapping Spiderman into a wall with a sand slap. "This time Im gonna crush you!"
As the Sandman readied a massive hammer of sand above the hero's head, Spider-Man bounced towards the ceiling, and kicked the sprinkler. Raining water atop Sandman. Marko fell on the ground, his weakness being exploited. "Damn you Spider-Man!" He said, gasping as he struggled on the ground. "Im gonna suffocate you for this!"
"Take a good shower, Sandy, maybe you won't feel so grouchy after!" Suddenly, Spiderman was interrupted. A mountain of a man walked through one of the already destroyed walls of the bank. "This can't be good" Peter thought. The newcomer looked around, first down at the Sandman on the ground, then locking eyes with Spidey.
It was Ares, God of War. He towered over Spiderman, looking down at him. He was wearing greek armor and was built like Thor, unsurprisingly. "Spider-Man of New York. Your presence is demanded on Olympus. Come with me"
It seemed like he wasn't giving much of a choice, so Spiderman agreed.
"There goes my Friday night plans with Harry" Spiderman thought as they were beamed to Olympus. Sort of like how Thor travels with Asgardian magic. Almost instantly arriving.
Spiderman looked around his new surroundings, expecting to see a bunch of Greek Gods on some sort of council, accusing him of stealing Zeuses beard or something. But no, it was only one, and a beautiful one at that. Behind Peter stood Ares, and infront of him was Aphrodite, the goddess of love. Peter was awe struck. She wore a greek dress that showed off her big, perfect tits. Her body and face were absolutely perfect.
She smiled at him sweetly, and began to speak. "Peter, I'm sorry for having Ares bring you here in such a rude manner" She said with a laugh "But I just had to meet with you. You see, us Greek Gods watch the mortal realm for entertainment, and Iv kept up with your story for a long time. Your battles and your love stories." She frowned, and Peter gulped, thinking he knew where this was going. "Your recent.. bad luck with Mary Jane has brought me displeasure. Your Spiderman for hells sake, your supposed to get the girl!"
Spiderman began to speak, but the goddess held up her palm to silence him and continued. "Let me tell you what Im going to do. Im going to help you. Im the goddess of love and Im going to use my magic to make your luck in magic a lot.. better" she smiled as she said better. She began casting her spell, waving her hands around. Spidey began to interrupt her. "Wait, Im not sure if this is necessary! I swear, I appreciate the gesture but-"
Suddenly, a green portal appeared as she was casting her greek magic. A yellow and blue superhero flew through it. He screamed as he did "ANGGGSTROOOOM! WHERE ARE YOU!" He was bloody and his suit was in tatters. A broken pair of goggles on his face as well.
