4. Contest, Conscience, and Consequence
"Brother, we need to speak." Tamiki said impatiently.
Nene's amber eyes searched mine. They seemed to ask
, 'Can you do it Motoki? Can you be the man that we need you to be?'
I stared back for a long moment, then lowered my mouth to hers for a quick sweet peck.
I will not let you down.
"Motoki!" Tamiki called angrily.
"Stay here," I whispered as I briskly withdrew from Nene. I got up and walked naked around the firepit. My hard manhood pointed at my two sisters. I walked towards them until I was certain that they could see every detail of it. It was soaked with Nene's love juices. I let my anger empower me but kept control of my direction. Like a peasant boatman on The Drowned Merchant River, my oar directing me on the flow beneath me. I said in a terse wrathful tone, "You have two choices here: Either join us or get out! I really don't care which!"
Then I turned my back on them dismissively and returned to Nene. She was laying on her side watching, with a lusty grin on her face. Behind me I heard the door slide open as endlessly mirthful Chiumi said, "I can't wait to tell Arisa about this. She's going to hate that she missed it."
As I lay back down beside Nene, I had to ask, "How was that? Was I demanding and ruthless enough?"
"It was a good start. A very good start." She replied with an adoring smile, opening her legs to me. "You'll have to follow through, though. Now, speaking of following through on a very good start-"
But I was already on her. My tongue entered her mouth above as my much heavier tongue entered her mouth below.

Later on in the afternoon Nene went to the castle to visit Chiumi, while I trained. I was just opening my eyes from a deep meditation when she returned.
I stood and took her into my arms. "Did you find out what our sisters wanted this morning?"
"They were here to invite us to dinner. Tamiki wants to make peace with you."
'What did our father write in that stupid scroll?' I thought. Something in it had changed my oldest sister.
"Do you think we should go?"
"I do. But.." Nene stopped, hesitant.
"But what?" I asked staring down into her beloved cute face. Behind those amber eyes I knew her sly intelligence was working hard.
"..But I think a demonstration is needed. You're now a pureblood fully aware of your power. I think you need to show our family that you aren't afraid to use it. I'm just not certain how."
I thought back to my previous dinner with my family. My mind immediately went to my youngest half-sibling/nephew, Denbe. If there was one thing I regretted it was that my spat with his mother meant that I wasn't getting to know him at all. I thought, 'Maybe I should change that'.
"You have a plan?" Nene asked, smiling up at me as she effortlessly read the look on my face.
"I do." I answered and then leaned in for a quick kiss that quickly proceeded into a much longer one. My hands were working at the ornate tie of the obi at her waist as the kiss ended. I pushed my mouth into her delicious pale neck and whispered, "We still have a few hours until dinner."
"Yes. -gasp- Yes we do."
I spent the next two hours making it hard for Nene to walk.

"I definitely have to thank Arisa for the balm next time I see her. I hope she has more." Nene whispered from behind the long mask of her hair, as we approached the daimyo's quarters. In her hands she carried
Meiyo
. I knew that it wasn't her only weapon. She had at least a dozen tantos hidden in her baggy plain brown kimono. At the first opportunity I was going to see to it that she received a wakizashi. Bastard or not, she was a noble and deserved to carry one.
Not that Nene would be using any weapons tonight. If Tamiki pushed things I would be the one drawing steel. In this instance it would most likely be
Kanshi
, which I had sheathed across my back. I had mastered drawing it at a near iajutsu speed from a sitting position years ago. The trick was to pull the sheathe away hard from the bottom with my left hand, as I drew it from behind my shoulder with my right. I also had to lean forward just so. It would be extremely awkward, but I knew I could do it. Being able to had saved my life twice. At my side was Ichibei's Phoenix daisho, worn purely to annoy my older sister.
This time the long table in the daimyo's private dining room was entirely empty on the left side. On the right sat Chiumi, in a tight yellow kimono that showed off her incredible body to the fullest. With her blond hair, golden brown skin, leonine features, and otherworldly golden eyes she was like Mother Sun come to our table. She outshone everyone and everything else in the room. She sat furthest towards the head of the table, with little Denbe in a simple orange robe beside her. The left was entirely open, so I led Nene that way. Tamiki sat at the head of the table. She wore an austere long deep brown kimono that complimented her dark brown eyes.
'My position to her left will make an attack with Kanshi pretty effortless, though the other side would've been slightly better'
, I thought as I gave everyone a condescendingly quick bow and sat.
"Brother, there's no reason for you to come to the table fully armed." Tamiki said wearily.
"One can never be too careful, Tamiki. Even amongst family one never truly knows who might be an enemy." I said coldly, as I made a point of letting everyone at the table see Ichibei's daisho. Then I made certain that they all saw me sit it at my right, where either sword could be drawn at a moment's notice. I looked past it to Nene and caught a glimpse of smile as she made certain that everyone saw her sit
