Chapter 1: The Beginning

Doesn't that sound professional? I'm just letting you know, because of the nature of this series, I feel I need to give some basic information about it. This is my most serious story to date and will undoubtedly be the biggest, planning to span 12 chapters or more. They aren't small chapters, this is a real story and there's lots going on, but the story develops and more characters are introduced later, so strap in for the long haul here.
