"Dee Dee doesn't know that Freddie and me
Do it in his caddie every Sunday
He tells her he's at church but he doesn't go
Still we're on our knees and Dee Dee doesn't know...
***************
Mouth agape, graduating senior and former high school head cheerleader, Danielle "Dee Dee/DD" Turner watched the unfolding "car accident" occur in real-time before her very own striking blue eyes; set to an embarrassing, but admittedly catchy soundtrack to boot. Standing frozen like a beautiful Greek statue, she could do little but look on helplessly as the emotional carnage came at her straight on.
She had just down her first "Irish Car Bomb" under the guidance of a couple of her former classmates who had taken the opportunity to grope her ample cleavage "in an attempt" to keep her from spilling the drink's contents on her white blouse. Dee Dee had laughed off their "friendly assistance" as she had thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was looking to repeat it when the beginning chords of the band's first song invaded her unsuspecting, vulnerable ears and caused her to turn her head to look at the source of her impending humiliation.
As she did, those very same baby blues widened further in shock as she witnessed her ex, Freddrick "Freddie" Barnes hurriedly race his handsome, dark chiseled form to quickly jump up onto the stage to join the lead singer of "The Three Badd Queens", Morena "BJ" Carlysle. The two started to sexily grind against each other as she publicly aired their betrayal in front of the huge crowd made up of their fellow former classmates, mutual friends, and small scattering of friendly acquaintances.
It wasn't horrible enough that Freddie had performed an equally humiliating and callous act just this past Friday, a few minutes after their graduation ceremony had concluded, Dee Dee thought bitterly as she reflected back to the beginning of what turned out to be the end of their relationship.
What should have been a day full of a sense of accomplishment and excitement at finishing her high school academic career as North Hampton's High School's valedictorian and honored commencement speaker, instead was replaced with devastating, unexpected heartbreak.
After running up and hugging her dashing and equally celebrated quarterback/prom king boyfriend, Dee Dee immediately sensed something was wrong when he abruptly ended their embrace, a look of foreboding clear on his face as he forced her to look at him. His imposingly tall 6-foot 3-inch frame dwarfed her comparatively smaller 5'6" lithely stature. She had looked up in slight alarm, her sixth sense picking up something wasn't right.
"I know this isn't the best time to say this Dee, but I don't think I can keep up these falsehoods any longer and I think it would be the best for the both of us to have a clean break in order to get a fresh start as we begin the next chapter in our lives," Freddie began his unexpected ambush gently.
"What do you mean by 'falsehoods' Freddie? I thought we were in a happy, committed relationship? Aren't you happy being with me? I thought we loved each other..." Dee Dee started to run through her slew of questions as she looked upon him in bafflement, her mind unable, unwilling to comprehend what he was saying
"See, that's what makes this so hard Dee. I sorta hoped you would've wised up after how disappointing our prom night turned out to be last week. I thought you'd come to realize we weren't that good of a match, especially after how bad the sex was, especially for me..."
