True to her recently formulated plans, Commander Jane Shepard ordered Joker to steer the Normandy to Dholen System in the Far Rim where according to her dossier, she should find Tali on the planet Haestorm. For this mission's land team, she had chosen Garrus Vakarian - who she was sure would be happy to meet yet another old friend - and Kasumi Goto - whose hooded appearance, technical expertise, and wide hips reminded her of the quarian engineer.
Tali indeed was on the planet, but before Shepard and her squad could meet her, they needed to fight quite an unexpected but very well-known enemy: the geth. Fighting them, Jane couldn't help but smile - gunning them down with Garrus was like old times, and she could only regret that Liara didn't re-join them on the Normandy because then it would be downright perfect. Kasumi, however, proved to be a very capable replacement - with the ability to overload enemy shields and electronics and a cloaking device so sophisticated it could fool even the geth's sensors, the thief's help on the mission was invaluable.
Finally, though, Tali was on the Normandy, where she was welcomed by Jacob who - purposely or not - almost right away got under her skin by mentioning the ship had an AI now. The commander wanted to scold the former Alliance but it turned out the quarian didn't need her help - the death stare she shot at Taylor was more than enough for the black man to visibly shrink. It then occurred to Shepard that both her youngest and least experienced old team members - Liara and Tali - experienced massive personal and professional growth in the past two years, which filled her with pride that only a commanding officer and a lover at the same time could feel.
Speaking on the latter, when Jane went to talk with Tali, she knew that this time she needed to not hide her new appendage from her friend and reveal it right away. But first, she had to be sure that mentioning it would even make sense.
"One more thing, Tali," she said after they finished discussing the new Normandy and the quarians' troubled history with Cerberus - the commander still remembered how tense both parties were on the Freedom Progress. "Are we still... you know... an item?" She asked awkwardly, pointing at her own and Tali's crotches. She was always bolder when it came to sexual actions than romantic talks.
"I thought you'd never ask," Tali replied and Jane was sure she was smiling seductively under her helmet. "Of course we still are. Two years are too little to forget this. And this. And this," she added when her hands briefly massaged Shepard's muscular arms before they shifted to her huge bust and later toned abs.
"Then you need to know of something," Jane interrupted before the quarian's palms could go any lower. "When Cerberus rebuilt me, they also gave me... something extra. It's easier to show than tell." Then, the commander looked toward the entrance to the engine room and after making sure they won't be interrupted, hooked her fingers around a waistband of her pants and boxers and pulled them down.
"Keelah!" Tali exclaimed quietly seeing Shepard's massive dick. It was limp, but still huge with 9 inches of length and 7.5 inches of girth. The quarian wasn't a prude, she watched porn multiple times, but this was a size she rarely saw even on the screen. "They... What did they do to you?"
"It's all good, Tali, I like it that way," Jane replied, fighting the need to grin widely. "But I'm different now, and the question is if you're ok with it."
"Oh, Jane, I am! I really am!" Tali answered, climbing on her toes and pulling the commander's face close until the soldier's forehead touched the top of the engineer's visor. "But it's new and so huge! I need... I need some time to get used to it, you know? Will you wait for me, Jane?"
"Of course, Tali. Take all the time you need. I also needed some before I accepted my new appendage," Jane replied, hugging her friend but in a way that her cock didn't come to contact with her body. She then pulled her pants up before she smiled at the quarian.
But then, EDI's holographic head appeared nearby.
"Shepard, the Illusive Man wishes to speak with you. Privately. It's a priority."
A priority the Illusive Man wanted to speak of was a damaged collector's ship which Shepard was ordered to go to to get more data about the enemy. This part of the mission was without a doubt a success (among others, Jane had learned that the collectors were in fact heavily gene-modified protheans!) but everything went to hell anyway.
Because, despite the ship appearing to be disabled and abandoned, it turned out to be a ruse! One minute the commander's squad explored an empty vessel, and another they must've fought for their lives. Luckily, Samara's biotic powers and Tali's expertise with a shotgun proved to be just the tools Shepard needed. But even so, the team barely escaped. When they finally got to the Normandy, Joker needed to do a blind hyperspace jump in order to not be disintegrated by the heavy cannons of the enemy vessel.
Safe on her own ship, Jane had barely gotten out from the tunnel leading from the airlock and the cockpit to the CIC when someone literally jumped at her. With reflex born by combat experience, she caught the person that leaped at her who in turn hugged her tightly.
"Jane, I was so scared!" Kelly said with a cracking voice. "I thought it would be the... the..." She clearly wanted to say 'the end', but couldn't bring herself to it.
"There, there," Shepard replied, returning the hug and rubbing Kelly's back. The yeoman's ginger hair ended close to the commander's nose and the soldier could smell its pleasant aroma. With a cute woman's body so close to her own, the Spectre could feel her cock waking to life even just after a near-death experience. "It would require more than a few collectors to stop me," she added, putting Kelly back on her feet.
"Yeah, probably," Kelly replied but didn't sound fully convinced. Her nose and eyes were red, and there still were some tears in the latter. Jane wished to wipe them out, but she didn't want to put her dirty gloves on the yeoman's face. "But I don't know what would humanity do without you. What I would do without you."
When she said so, Miss Chamber's cheeks reddened, but certainly not because of the recent cry and Jane just had to smile at that. Seeing the ginger so clearly flustered, the commander remembered how Kelly was the moment her cooperation with Cerberus started. Back then, the yeoman was so clearly into her that her flirting was sometimes borderline cringe, making even a sexually bold woman like Shepard feel uncomfortable. With more talks, though, Kelly toned it down and the Spectre could consider her not only a valuable ally but a dear friend as well. The situation was somehow akin to how her relationship with Miranda changed, just from the opposite ends of the adoration/distrust spectrum. However, the moment Shepard thought about it, she remembered how her recent one-on-one interaction with Miranda went - namely, they had sex - and immediately her cock stiffened even more.
"You both would manage without me, I'm sure. But it's cute that you were so worried about me," the Spectre said after a moment of silence. "You know what? Why don't you join me in my cabin for a meal tonight? It would give us the chance to chat and get to know each other better," she added, hoping to cheer the ginger up.
"That sounds wonderful!" Kelly visibly beamed up, just as Jane planned. "See you later, then!"
Before the time for the meal was up, Shepard had two other things to do. The first one was to meet with the Illusive Man and yell at him for risking her - and her team's! - life. The other was to take a long shower. Jane put on a brave face in front of Kelly, but the moment the adrenaline rush passed, she realized how close to death she was.
Staying motionless under the hot stream, Jane thought about her life. She ran the good one, she had to admit. She was a soldier, a leader, a Spectre... But, was she really making a difference? Granted, she stopped Sovereing and the geth, but was she the only one able to complete this task? She doubted it. If it wasn't for her, someone else would step in. Ashley, Garrus, Wrex... The list of exceptional, strong-willed people she knew was extensive. Even her current team seemed to consist of experts better than her. Kasumi was a master thief, Samara an incredible biotic, Tali a mechanical genius... Next to them, she was only a sophisticated gun-holder.
None of those were true, but either way, dark thoughts clouded Shepard's mind. In her imagination, even if she removed a lot of evil from the galaxy, she didn't really add anything good to it.
