Rick Castle and Katherine Beckett took some time off after the week long detail Kate performed for Frank Reagan. She made him sit on the sofa and grabbing the blanket, she handed it to him, "Listen Danny, I knew Linda rather well and I know if she was able to talk to you she'd say, "Get on with your life you stubborn Irish Bastard!" I wanna ask you one thing, if the roles were reversed, what would you tell Linda?"
He nodded, "Yeah, I know, but I just can't seem to stop thinking about her. I miss her so much."
Kate stood before him, she was taller than him when she wore her heels or boots, "Listen Danny, we always got along and I got to know Linda when you were set up with those drugs planted in your trunk. She thanked me for helping out and she appreciated what you two had together, but she also told me, that if something ever happened to her, she knew you would be okay. She knew you always had female partners and they would be there for you. This is Valentine's Day weekend and we are here for you, so you better eat a lot a pizza; drink a lot of beer."
