Last Man Standing: Season 3
With Kristen moving out, she invited Ryan to come live with her and Boyd. Things were sailing along rather well, that is until the trucking company that Ryan was working at as a beer driver went on strike. He was a pseudo leader and Kristen was getting more and more aggravated when he continued to persuade the truckers to refuse the company's offer.
Money was running low, so she worked extra shifts at the restaurant and Jon Baker was more than accommodating.
After one evening, Kristen was sitting at one of the tables balancing the receipts with the cash and credit card slips. She stopped to think back about how Ryan made a fool of himself as usual. Her parents, and Mandy were there for a quiet meal, but Ryan came in to drop of Boyd. He had to attend an emergency strike meeting. As always, he made a crude statement about how the waitresses were paid minimum wage. She shut him down before he made a scene and he left in a huff.
Across the room, Jon was staring at Kristen as she worked diligently on the receipts. He was amazed how gorgeous she looked, even after a very busy and trying day. He still couldn't believe she went back with that loser Ryan. He cleared the partially opened bottle of wine from the bar counter. All of a sudden he had a cleaver thought. He picked two bottles and walked over to the lady who had her head buried in paperwork. He cleared his throat, "Time for a break, Kristen. I just love it when couples have a very horrible dinner engagement. They happen to be my favorite customers. They never finish their wine, " He lifted one bottle, "So, uh, what are you in the mood for--"Rejected marriage proposal" or "Looked nothing like his profile picture"?
She smiled up at him as she swept her dark blonde hair from her forehead. (In season 3 Kristen now changed her hair to blonde, something she did regularly through out the series) She pointed towards the second bottle, "Hmm, give me a glass of Mr. Photo shop."
As he poured out the wine, she closed up the receipts, "We had a pretty good night."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, except for the whining at the Baxter table. I'm talking about Ryan, not Boyd."
He handed her her glass of wine and placed a hand on her shoulder, "No, you don't have to apologize for Ryan. You know, he's in a bad place right now." He poured himself a glass and took a seat beside her.
She rolled her eyes, "Yeah, well, we're all in a bad place. If his strike goes much longer, and now Boyd has a school trip to some old-west town. It's gonna cost 65 bucks."
He looked down at the money had had before him, "Oh, well, look what I just found." He dropped 65 bucks before her, "And here's a little extra, you know, maybe he wants to stop by the saloon, and buy himself a fancy, painted lady."
A huge smile crossed her lips and she chuckled, "Uh, thank you, Jon, but, I mean, no, I wasn't shaking you down for money." She pushed it back to him and closed the laptop.
He took the money back and nodded, "Okay, but, you know, I was serious when I told your folks earlier that you're a big part of the success of this place."
She listened to him and looked at him over the top of the wine glass as she took a big sip and after she lowered it, she held it in front of her.
He extended his glass in a toast, "You and I are a good team."
She stared at him with a mixture of appreciation, love and lust and she licked her lips and replied, "I could kiss you for saying that."
He saw the opening he was hoping for and as she took a another sip of her wine, he nodded, "I wouldn't stop you!" He leaned forward and Kris lowered her glass and leaned forward to meet him.
The two of them met in the middle of the table and as their lips met, they both released a little moan. It was a moan long time in coming. As the kiss grew stronger, he pushed the money, receipts and the laptop aside and they continued to kiss as his hand wound around behind her and cupped her by the nape of her neck.
Kristen knew everything about this was so, so wrong. But after Ryan's asinine remarks and how much Jon appealed to her, she wasn't about to let the chance slip away. Her tongue darted out and probed his lips and she let it slip into his mouth when she felt his lips part. Her hands clutched at his head too and without braking the kiss, they both rose up from their chairs and kissed even deeper.
Jon just loved Kristen's long, sexy hair, it nearly hung down to her waist. He reached down and untied the thick black belt holding her fashionable black leather jacket. He slipped it off her shoulders and as he broke their kiss, he attacked the sensitive flesh on her neck.
Kristen released a gasp, "Oh Jon, this is so, so wrong."
He nipped at her ear and his tongue danced all along the groove of her ear, "Do you want me to stop? Just say the word and I'll back off."
Her hands traveled up his lean, firm chest and began plucking away at the buttons on his shirt, "Oh don't you dare! You have no idea how much I need this. I'll go insane if you stop now." She tugged his shirt out of his pants and unfastening the last button, she slipped the shirt and sports coat from his firm upper body.
He rained kisses all along her neck and moved the other opposite side and feasted on her other ear, tugging at the earlobe and darting his tongue in and out of her ear. He felt her shiver and he moved downward and peppered her flesh with even more kisses and his hot breath caused her to break out in goosebumps.
His fingers continued to comb through her hair as he returned to her full bee-stung lips and his other hand found the tie on the back of her burgundy dress. He tugged at it and as it came loose, the silky dress parted. It was his turn to gasp as he stared at her full overflowing black bra. He gently slipped the dress from her lily white shoulders and it fell aimlessly to the floor.
Kristen stared into his eyes and licked her lips as she saw him stare at her lush curves, "Please Jon, you're making me extremely uncomfortable. I have to know what you are thinking?"
