I was expecting to be awoken the next morning by either my tent mate Nathan or from the Sun creeping in, through the semitransparent material of the tent. However, it was neither. It started off slowly, but started to increase in volume as the first droplets of rain started to shake our tent. It was suddenly like the heavens above had opened and had begun to shower down everything they possibly could.
The noise in the tent got so loud, that I wasn't able to stay asleep. Looking at my phone, it said it was around six-thirty in the morning, which for my liking was a little bit early, but due to this rain, I was never going to manage to get back to sleep.
Sitting up and glancing over at Nathan, who seemed to be sound asleep, was all I needed to disturb what my body needed to release. I groaned as the realisation that I would need to go out there to go to the bathroom, would mean getting soaked. No wonder I wasn't a big fan of camping.
Not wanting to get all my clothes wet. I stripped off my jumper and shirt. Risking the elements in just a pair of pants and a pair of thongs (what us Australians call Flip Flops), I hurriedly exited the tent.
The rain wasn't as bad as it sounded from inside the tent, but it still wasn't a light drizzle. Here's to hoping that it was going be an easy camping trip. I prayed that this wouldn't last much longer.
I started to head on over to the bathroom block, trying to miss as many of the ever-growing mud puddles on the ground, as to not get muddy. I could deal with drying off water, but it wasn't going to be easy to clean mud off out here, especially with no showers.
On my way to the toilet block, I noticed Sean start to head towards me, looking very wet. He seemed to have a very unusual smile on him, even though he was getting soaked. We passed each other, briefly stopping to have a quick chat. It seemed that his spirits weren't down yet, as the rain wasn't supposed to last, past this morning.
Stepping into the toilet block, I remembered what I had done last night, as well as the state in which I left the cubicle. I slowly walked over to it, hoping that Sean, or anyone else for that matter hadn't seen the mess I had left on the ground. There was a chance that all this rain had managed to wash it away, but my hopes were crushed when I swung open the door and saw the dried streaks of my cum on the concrete. I had also noticed that there were a few other streaks around mine, that weren't the result of my explosive finish last night. A couple of them almost looked fresh.
It got me thinking, was Sean the one to have left this mess. Did I just see him come from the toilet block after having splashed his seed all over the ground, on top of mine from last night?
The questions would have to wait as my stomach grumbled, warning me of the impending explosion that was going to erupt from my anus. Quickly scrambling into the cubicle, I slammed the door shut, whilst bit trying to step in any of the cum. After sitting down and releasing the torrent, I realised that once again I had forgotten to bring with me some toilet paper.
I sat there not sure of what to do, for what felt like hours, but in reality was only a couple of minutes. I was starting to consider going outside, around the back of the toilet block and using the rain to clean myself, when the footsteps of someone entering the bathroom, echoed throughout the tin shed.
The bang of the cubicle door next to me signalised that one of my fellow campers had gone into one of the adjoining cubicles. The very obvious sound of a tinkel filled the cubicle not long after, followed by the rustling of what sounded like paper. It was very hard to hear what was going on in the room due to the rain on the metal roof, but you could still tell. I tried to sit there in complete silence as the mysterious person finished up and opened the door.
The rustling of paper. I had heard the rustling of paper. The only thing that was going to get me out of my predicament. As I was about to fight through the embarrassment and ask for some toilet paper, I heard the dunk of what sounded like a bag being dropped onto the steel sink. This was then followed by the sounds of someone brushing their teeth.
That slight delay in not asking, made me come to the realisation that I had only heard a tinkel followed by rustling, which would most likely mean that it was either Holly or my new crush Liv, standing out there brushing their teeth. I sat there and waited, not knowing what to do. Waiting for whomever it was, to finish brushing and head on out.
The girl brushing their teeth started to hum along to their internal rhythm. It was something I recognised. Most people wouldn't have known what she was humming, but I did. The hummed tune of Trip A Little Light Fantastic from Mary Poppins Returns, started to fill the room. Knowing the words to the song I instinctively started to quietly sing along, hoping that the rain would mask my voice.
I abruptly heard the music stop, along with the brushing.
"Is someone there?" I heard the voice call out.
It dawned on me who the mystery girl was. It was Liv.
Oh no, I blew it. I definitely should have stayed silent and waited her out. I started to panic, as I didn't want Liv to find me like this. It was not going to help my chances.
"I could hear you singing, so I know someones in here," I heard again.
Realising I didn't really have a choice, I managed to get out a "yeah."
"Are you OK?"
She could probably sense from my tone, that not everything was alright.
"I umm, I need some toilet paper," I managed to stutter out.
There was no response, all I could hear were a few footsteps coming closer, before a hand then appeared under the cubicle door, holding a roll of toilet paper.
"Thanks," was all I managed to say, as I grabbed the roll from her hands.
"I'll see you back at camp, Josh," she said before turning around and exiting the bathroom.
She knew it was me. There had been the slight chance that she didn't realise it and that maybe I was one of the other campers, but that was not to be.
Finishing up in the bathroom, I realised that I still had no shirt on. I am a bit embarrassed of what I look like, so going back to camp had the potential of some of the others seeing me, especially Liv.
