This is a true story. It's about my life and the women I love. It's a long read filled with great joy and sadness, but it's life.

I've heard it said that you're lucky if you find real love in your life time. I must be the luckiest guy on the planet because I found it twice. Hi my name is Mike, I'm 6' 4" tall and 225 lbs. Brown hair and blue eyes, working out is my religion. My story starts 40 years ago.
I was 25 and I had been a fireman for just over a year in a major U.S. city. The truck company I was assigned to was dispatched to a 3 alarm fire in the warehouse district. When we arrived at the scene we were given the job of helping another truck company vent the building. It's here that I suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to the hospital. I was in an out of conciseness and when I woke up I thought I'd died and was in heaven because the nurse had a bright lite behind her and she looked like an Angel.
This is how I met Sandy, my first love. Sandy was an Emergency Room nurse, 22 years old stands 5' 4" tall, about 120 lbs. long brown hair and big brown eyes. She has an athlete's body and her smile could melt the polar ice cap. She was just out of college and at her first job. She was beautiful, her smile made my heart skip a beat. She was rubbing my hand and asked me how I was feeling. I told her I had a splitting head ache. That's not surprising she said you had a very high carbon monoxide level in your blood. I was on oxygen and had an I V, I drifted off.
When I woke again she was just entering the room and that smile just killed me, God she was pretty. Sandy came up to me and asked if my head ache was any better, yes it was. I was feeling a lot better. She stood next to me and brushed my hair out of my face. Let me get a wash cloth and wash that soot off your face. She very gently washed my face and when done she said hey there's a hansom guy hiding under all that dirt. Then she took her hand and lightly stroked my face. It sent a shiver through me. Just then a Battalion Chief came in the room to see how I was. Sandy said she would be back later and left.
When Sandy came back she was with another nurse. She said that her shift was ending and that nurse Patty would see to my needs. I was very disappointed as I really didn't get a chance to speak with her.
I spent two more hours there and they finally said I could go home. For the next few days I couldn't get her out of my mind. I couldn't eat or sleep all I did was think of her. The guys at the firehouse kept asking if I was all right, I was walking around in a daze. That's it I said to myself you have to go see her and ask her out. I got flowers and went to the hospital not thinking that she might have the day off. Sure enough it was her weekend, Tuesday and Wednesday.
I asked for her number and they said no way they don't give out numbers of their employees. What was I thinking for sure they are not going to give me her number? More of me not thinking in my daze. I left the flowers for her with a note telling her who I was and thanking her for taking such good care of me. Also in the note was my phone number and an invitation to dinner if she was so inclined.
I heard from Sandy a few days later and she said she would love to go out with me. We hit it off from the moment I picked her up.
After the second date when I got Sandy home she asked, Mike do you find me attractive? God Sandy, you're the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Then why haven't you kissed me? Well I don't know. I guess I didn't want to go to fast and scare you away. She laughed and said come here and kiss me you big goof ball. We kissed, it wasn't your make out type of kiss it was a lover's kiss. It was as much giving as receiving. The kiss buckled my knees and sent shivers down my spine. This kiss was nothing like I have ever experienced. When we broke I felt like I was drunk, but we hadn't been drinking. She looked at me wide eyed and took a deep breath and said please kiss me again. It was just like before, it was electric. She caressed my head as I cradled her in my arms. She shivered and I knew she was feeling what I was.
When we came up for air the second time Sandy looked me in the eyes and said, wow that was amazing! I can't let you leave here without knowing. Knowing what I asked. Knowing if sex is as good as your kiss, I have to know. With that she took my hand and led me inside her apartment to her bedroom.
