The Cabin, Part 3
After Brian and Victoria untangle from themselves, he carries Victoria to the bed, where they fall asleep for about an hour. Brian is the first to wake up and slowly plants little kisses on the back of Victoria's neck while he caresses her body. She turns around and they kiss for a little while. They get up and look around. Victoria asks if they should explore the place. As Brian gets up from the bed, he walks over to the window taking in the sprawling view and says that maybe they should check it out. They both walk towards the door and open it, and begin an adventure that neither had a clue of what would unfold before them.
They walked down the hallway leading back to the living room. There were three other doorways off the living room. As Brian and Victoria walked through the living room, they took the first door through the left side and followed a staircase up and around, coming to a second- floor kitchen with wraparound windows. The kitchen counter and appliances were all in the center of the kitchen, a small nook area toward the rising sun in the eastern part of the room, and a nice table in the west to allow guests to enjoy the beautiful unobstructed sunsets. Taking a quick look through, they both grabbed some bottled water from the refrigerated drink drawer in the counter set before heading back down the stairs to explore the other areas of the house.
When they reached the living room, they went through the second doorway which contained a rather long spacious hallway that opened up to a large mud room. The door in the mud room led to a covered boat dock with a 28' Rinker 280 Captiva boat nestled into its dock with a ramp to the back end. Bright LED lights provided a safe environment with almost no area poorly lit up.
They walked the ramp and went into the boat. The inside of the boat was in immaculate condition. Turning the key, they saw all of the gages do their cycle through, and the fuel gage went straight to "Full." As they looked around a little more, they both decided that if the weather was good enough, they would definitely take it out on the lake tomorrow morning. Turning around and heading back to the house, they talked about how much they are really going to love this coming week.
