Viola woke suddenly and before she opened her eyes, she stretched her arm out to the side, expecting to feel Zyair lying next to her.
But she felt nothing; the bed beside her was empty.
Panic quickly built up inside her. Her mind was racing, and she couldn't help but to jump to conclusions.
He left, she thought. Of course, he did, they always do.
Men never seemed to stick around in her life. Her dad left them when she was young, and she could never find a lover that cared enough to stay. There was clearly something wrong with her. If there wasn't, she wouldn't be experiencing this again.
She rolled over and picked up her phone. Nothing. Not a call, or even a message from him.
Unbelievable. Viola really thought it was going to be different this time. She knew she felt a connection with Zyair. The way he looked into her eyes and the things he said, made her feel like she could trust him with anything.
With a feeling of regret, she put down her phone, got out of bed and walked over to the ensuite bathroom. She turned on the shower and waited until the water ran hot. Normally this is when she would take off her clothes, but she was already naked from the night before.
Her fingers touched her lips as she remembered the way he kissed her, his lips pressed to hers and his tongue exploring her mouth. The way their mouths moved in synchronicity made it seem like they had kissed many times before. But that was not the case.
Although they had been talking online for a while, this was the first time they were meeting. What if she didn't live up to his expectations?
She tried to push the negative thoughts aside as she snapped back to reality and hopped into the shower. The warm water felt good as it trickled down on her skin. She stayed in there for what felt like forever. It was soothing and she wasn't ready to face the world. But alas, she must.
Viola stepped out of the shower and grabbed two towels. She dried her hair with the smaller one and strategically wrapped the other one around her body so it would stay up as she got ready.
Just as she went to grab the blow dryer for her hair, she heard a loud noise coming from the other room. She opened the door quickly and poked her head out.
Standing there in the small hotel room kitchen was Zyair. He had a frying pan in one hand and two eggs in the other. She could smell a fresh pot of coffee brewing and it made her smile. He didn't notice her at first as she stood in the doorway of the bedroom, staring at the incredibly attractive man before her. Even in hoodie and sweatpants she could see how toned his body was. She was undressing him with her eyes when suddenly she could feel a heaviness in the pit of her stomach. She felt stupid for thinking the worst of him. Why was she like this? Did she really think that low of herself and of him?
Zyair spun around and a surprised look flashed across his face. Her porcelain skin and smattering of freckles across her cheeks, gave her features a delicate and ethereal quality. Her vibrant green eyes, framed by long lashes, held a glimmer of curiosity and kindness, reflecting the depth of her soul.
"Viola! I'm sorry, did I wake you?"
"No, I actually didn't even hear you out here until I got out of the shower." She replied.
"I didn't realize you were awake! I went to the store to grab some groceries so I could surprise you with breakfast when you woke up. How do you like your eggs, by the way?"
"Scrambled, please."
Zyair nodded and turned back around towards the stove to continue cooking. Viola walked over to the cupboard and grabbed two glasses.
"No, no, no. Go sit down. I've got this." Zyair pleaded.
Viola complied and went to sit on an island chair so she could watch him while he prepared breakfast. There was something extremely sexy about a man cooking and she couldn't stop staring. A grin formed across her face and Zyair noticed.
"What's on your mind?"
"Oh, just thinking of all the things I would love to do to you in this kitchen."
"Really?" Zyair asked, intrigued.
"Oh, yes. Do you want to know what those thoughts are?"
"Is that even a question?" Zyair laughed.
"Well first, I would love to walk over there and kiss you. Then, I'd kiss your neck and distract you from making breakfast just a little. Moving down your body, I would get on my knees in front of you and pull down your pants."
Zyair's eyes widened as the words came out of her mouth. His lips parted as he was about to say something, but he closed them immediately. He wanted her to continue.
"Then, I want to take your big dick in my mouth. I love feeling it get hard as I suck on it. I want to hear you moan as I take my time with you."
Zyair stood still for a moment, staring at Viola, before realizing that he was cooking breakfast. He could start to smell burning on the stove and he snapped back to reality.
"OMG, our eggs are burning!"
Viola laughs and blushes, knowing that she distracted him in the best way possible.
"Hold that thought," Zyair said flustered.
Zyair finished preparing breakfast and they sat down and enjoyed the meal together. Viola was extremely content and felt so much love in her heart. This man seemed to truly care about her, and she just had to let him and trust him.
After cleaning up from breakfast, Viola and Zyair decided to go for a drive to see the beautiful sights. Zyair had never been to that part of the world before and he was excited to experience it with her. They drove to the mountains and spent the entire day together.
On the way back to the hotel, Viola let Zyair drive. She was feeling tired from their big day and just wanted to be able to relax in the passenger seat.
As she sat beside Zyair, she realized how immaculate he looked when he was in control. He sat back comfortably in the chair while his big strong hand gripped the wheel. His eyes only ever left the road to glance over at Viola as she sat there quietly. They drove in silence for a while. And then almost as if he read her mind, Zyair reached over and grabbed Viola's hand. She smiled and shifted her weight towards him.
"Are you tired, sweetheart?" Zyair asked.
She hadn't realized she was daydreaming and staring out the window for at least 30 minutes.
"A little, but I am alright. I think it is just these windy roads, rocking me to sleep."
Zyair grinned and nodded. They still had another hour's drive to get back to the hotel and it was getting dark.
