This is the first story I have written specifically for a fan. I hope you like it, Nicole. Maybe we can make it happen.
I have a twenty year old daughter named Lisa, who left for college two long years ago. She really didn't want to leave, but it was better for her, so I encouraged her to pursue her dream to help others. She is studying to be a veterinary surgeon, but still loves to come back home for all of her breaks, to take care of the animals on my family farm. Well, it USED to be a family farm. I inherited it from my father, and he from his, but Lisa is my only child. I lost her mother to a horrible car accident when Lisa was only five, and with my little baby girl wanting to become a vet, well, there was no way she would be able to run it and also be a full time veterinarian, and I had no one else to leave it to. Obviously, I would leave it to her, but unless she was able to turn it into a cooperative or something, it was eventually going to go the way of Big Ag, which really upset me; a LOT.
The place was decent; not huge, but still impressive to most people. At 814 acres, I had plenty of open room for dairy and crops, as well as at least 370 acres of woodlands, streams and even a fifteen foot high waterfall. I really hated that I was the last in line to run this place. My spirits soared, however, when Lisa informed me she would be spending Spring Break with me right here at the old homestead. She was never a party girl anyway, so I guess the thought of acting like an ass in public, in front of her friends at some strange beach, wasn't her cup of tea. She did have some additional news, however, that was somewhat unexpected.
"Umm, you know when I hit that deer last spring?" she inquired.
"Yeah," I replied, "what about it?"
"It cracked the headlight housing and it won't pass inspection." she explained. "The mechanic is ordering a replacement for me, but it won't be here for a few days, so I was wondering... could you maybe... see it in your heart to come get me? Pretty please with sugar on top?"
What was I going to say, no? It was a five hour drive each way, but nothing arduous.
"Of course, Sweetie." I replied.
"Thanks Daddy!" she gushed. "Oh one more thing. My friend, Nicole, doesn't really have anywhere to go, so I invited her to stay with us. We have lots of room, so I didn't think it'd be a problem, right?"
"Of course not." I responded. "I'll be there around Nine in the morning to pick you both up. See you then."
I arrived at their dorm the following morning, and having called while I was still ten minutes out, both young ladies were waiting for me by the front curb when I pulled up. It was misting very lightly, but nothing that was actually getting them wet. We would hit thunderstorms on the way back, however, so I had gotten there just in time.
"Daddy!" Lisa cried out excitedly, as I exited the pickup to greet her.
She threw her arms around me enthusiastically, while her friend looked on slightly uncomfortably at not knowing me.
"Hi Pumpkin!" I replied just as enthusiastically, as she let go. "So, is this your friend, Nicole, I take it?"
"Yes! Daddy, this is Nicole. Nicole, this is my daddy."
"Hi Nicole," I said with a smile, "it's nice to meet you."
I gave her a quick look over, and she seemed maybe a year or so younger than Lisa, so perhaps she was a freshman. She was average size and build, with small but perky-looking tits, and she had slim, but well-toned thighs that were clearly visible underneath the above-the-knee-length skirt she was wearing. She was also wearing a top that laced up the front, revealing a bit of cleavage between those small but perky-looking tits, and a pair of white canvas shoes. I'm not really sure what they are called, but women usually wear them with ankle socks or no socks at all, around pools and docks. All in all, she was kind of cute, but my thoughts were focused on my daughter at the moment. She smiled back at me somewhat shyly, and nodded in acknowledgment.
"Hello Mr. Dawson." she replied in a quiet and somewhat timid voice. "It's nice to meet you too. Lisa's told me so much about you and the farm, I feel like I know you already. I can't wait to see everything she's been trying to describe to me all year."
She laughed a bit nervously, and I gave her another warm smile.
"Oh, don't be so formal." I chuckled. "I've never been one for titles. Everyone calls me Jack. Well, except Lisa of course."
Nicole smiled back, and nodded.
"Okay Jack." she responded. "I'll try and remember, but I may still just slip and call you Mr. Dawson anyway."
"Nicole's very polite, Daddy." Lisa chimed in, as she tossed the bags into the large toolbox that was mounted against the cab, in the bed of the pickup truck. "Respectful too."
"I see that." I replied. "Okay, so this truck doesn't have a rear seat. Who's going to ride out back with the luggage?"
"Not me!" Lisa called out. "There's bad weather coming in."
Nicole looked horrified at the thought of possibly having to ride in the open bed of the pickup for five hours or so in the rain. The poor girl must have really thought I'd meant it too, as she looked like she was about to cry.
"Nicole..." I said gently.
"Yes Mr.- I mean, Jack?"
"There's a middle seat."
She looked confused for a few seconds and then suddenly, very relieved.
"You were only joking?" she inquired cautiously. "I don't have to ride outside in the rain?"
"Nicole," I said, placing my arm around her waist and guiding her toward the passenger's side door, "Get in. I wasn't planning on extra passengers, so you'll have to squeeze in between us, but there's still enough room for all three of us."
She nodded and slid into the middle of the seat, and Lisa climbed in behind her. I lifted the armrest so she could use that portion of the seat, and looked at the gearshift, which was between her knees, and faced her.
"Now, I mean this in all seriousness." I said quietly. "I'm going to have to reach between your legs to shift this truck, so if that makes you uncomfortable, you can switch out with Lisa."
"No, it's okay." she replied.
"You can always sit in his lap!" Lisa giggled.
Nicole turned bright red, and it was beginning to dawn on me that she wasn't used to a lot of humor. She'd probably led a very sheltered life, so I decided to wind things back a bit, until I got to know her better. I put the truck into first gear and slowly pulled away from the dorm.
It wasn't too long after we got back onto the interstate, that it suddenly began pouring rain. Lightning flashed, and thunder clapped loudly. The rain pounded against the roof and windshield with a deafening din for thirty minutes or so, before we finally punched through the storm and into dry weather. In time, the sun came out, and Lisa drifted off to sleep. Nicole was busy looking at the rolling farmland, but she too eventually zonked out as well, slowly leaning up against me, with her head eventually resting on my right shoulder.
