When Josh was born, he did not cry, but everyone else in the room did. When he was five, he was brought to a theme park, and employee morale was raised by fifty percent that day. When he was fifteen, his first girlfriend broke his heart, and riots broke out across the high school, requiring a week to fully repair the damages.

Josh finally realized that all of these events were related when he was nineteen, while he was in his philosophy class.

The guy sitting in front of Josh was incredibly attractive, and Josh was quite turned on by him. He had been eyeing him up for a few weeks. It started with just thinking about talking to him, but today it escalated. He could feel himself getting hard, thinking about this guy, thinking about him sucking him under the desk. Josh noticed sweat accumulating on the back of the other guy's neck, he was starting to flush. Josh leaned slightly to the right and saw a massive erection, poorly covered by a sweater.

Josh was confused at first, but then he got curious. He started thinking about this guy, pressed up against the wall with a necklace of Josh's hand and Josh's tongue down his throat. The man stood up and ran out of class, but not before Josh saw the wet stain on his crotch. Josh thought about what had happened for the rest of the day. Had he made him cum? Just with his thoughts? There was no way. But now he had to find out for sure.

He returned to his room after class finding his roommate Ezra sitting on the couch.

"Hey Josh, how was class?" Ezra asked. Josh sat down next to him.

"It was fine, yours?" Josh asked.

"Didn't go, didn't feel like it," Ezra answered, somewhat despondent.

Josh realized that now was his opportunity. He stared at Ezra and thought of times he'd felt motivated and studious. Where he'd found answers to questions he had never even considered and felt enlightened by the knowledge he had gained. Suddenly, Ezra stood up.

"You know what? I will go to the professor's office hours and catch up. I can't keep ditching my classes." Ezra smiled and ran off.

It was him. Every strange event that had happened around him came into focus. It was like one of those optical illusion photos. He saw the events turn into a clear but absurd picture. He could control others' emotions. This incident with Ezra made him realize that there was so much good he could do with this power so he decided to get straight to work practicing.

He arrived at the cafeteria, determined to find people to use this power on. He saw a girl looking like she hadn't slept in a week, so he imagined sending memories of all the times he felt refreshed and energized her way. She started to stand taller and looked more alert, after a minute or two she was bouncing foot to foot, fully energized. Josh was amazed. He had made someone's life better, just by thinking. He wanted more. He needed more.

In class the next day, Josh saw one of his classmates who seemed upset about something. His fingers hit his phone screen hard and fast. His mouth was carved into a deep frown. He could see he was in a bad fight over text with his girlfriend. Mark sent thoughts of happiness and calm to him, his thumbs slowed on the keyboard. He texted two words "I'm sorry." He watched and a text came in from the other person in the chat, "I'm sorry too. Date night tonight?" He saw his classmate respond, "sounds great." And then put his phone down.

Josh smiled and began considering all the things he could do with this newly discovered skill. While he didn't learn much in that class, he did have lots of ideas. He was just leaving class to go try a few more things, when the hot guy from yesterday pulled him aside.

"Hey, Josh!" Josh turned around.

"My name is Jamie, I... uh... I was wondering... if you wanted to grab a drink?" He scratched the back of his head anxiously.

"I'm not usually... um into... uh guys like that. Like you know... romantically... but..."

"I'd love to go for a drink Jamie, where and when?" Josh answered with a laugh at the awkward Jamie.

"Student pub. Eight?" Jamie offered.

"I'll be there." Josh smiled. He then grabbed Jamie's hand and wrote his number on it.

"I'll see you tonight." Josh called as he walked off to go get ready.

He checked the time when he got back to the apartment, and saw that he still had three hours before he had to be at the pub. So he decided that he'd work with Ezra a little more. He walked in to find Ezra at the table with a textbook open.

"Are you studying?" Josh asked skeptically.

"Yeah dude, I gotta catch up, I have been slacking majorly." Ezra said, not looking up from his book.

"Oh, well I'm glad to see you so into your work." Josh grinned.

He was so glad he could help his roommate this way. He sent Ezra feelings of joy and studiousness together. He then made two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and gave one to Ezra. He quickly sent feelings of extreme gratitude, with a little bit of love, towards Ezra. His roommate looked up at him, eyes full of warmth.

"Thank you so much Josh. How did you know I was hungry?" Ezra asked eagerly.

"Just had a feeling buddy. Enjoy." He went off to grab a towel and pick out his clothes.

He chose his nicest pair of boxers, black and satiny. Over those, a designer tee and black slacks. He would wear this with a pair of black leather dress sneakers. He also grabbed his nicest bomber jacket.

He showered slowly and thoroughly. Then began the process of getting ready. He gelled and combed his center part mullet, so it was neat and professional looking. He put on his deodorant and only two sprays of an evergreen cologne. He didn't like smelling overly perfumed, but he did like to smell fresh. He dressed himself, added his gold chain, and checked one last time in the mirror.

He didn't realize Ezra had come up behind him.

"Looking great Josh. Going somewhere?" Ezra leaned in the bathroom door.

"Yeah, I have a date." Josh grinned.

"Good luck Josh." Ezra said somewhat quickly and then went to his room.

"That was weird, whatever though, he probably wants to get back to studying." Josh thought to himself as he grabbed his keys and wallet.

"Don't study too late!" He called out, and Ezra gave a muffled response.

Josh started the quick walk to the pub, taking it nice and slow, just enjoying the evening air. It was nice to have these quiet moments once in a while. He watched the breeze pass through the amber leaves causing some to twirl gracefully toward the cobblestone path. Fall was always his favorite season, there was something about the crisp, light air that had always appealed to him.

He arrived at the bar ten minutes early. Josh didn't like to be too early but being late was obscene to him and he was painfully curious where tonight was going.

When he walked in he saw his date nervously sitting at a table in the corner next to the window. Josh sent a slow soft wave of excitement and a little lust his way. He walked up to the table confidently, trying to show Jamie that there was nothing to worry about.

Jamie's face broke into a sweet but nervous smile.

"Hey." He said softly.

"Hi Jamie, what can I get you to drink?" Josh asked gently.

"Rum and Coke please, single." Jamie answered quickly.

"Sounds good, I'll be right back." Josh assured the nervous man.

Jamie was a cute redhead with a light stubble, which accentuated a firm jawline. He was a couple inches shorter than Josh. Maybe 5'7", to Josh's 6' 2". He wore a simple dark blue plaid shirt, work boots, and jeans.

While Josh got their drinks he sent warm happy feelings Jamie's way. By the time he returned to the table, Jamie's body language had opened up and he smiled wider and more confidently. He had a gorgeous smile, made even better by the dusting of freckles along his nose. He had shorter hair that was clearly not carefully styled.

Josh passed him his drink.

"Thank you. What did you get?" Jamie asked.

"Gin and tonic. Much like you, I like the classics." Josh joked.

"You read me like a book." Jamie laughed.

"I also take my coffee black, I'm a bit of a purist." Josh joked pretentiously.

"I have to have three drops of coffee in my cream and sugar." Jamie pretended to be ashamed.

"I might be able to forgive you for that." Josh teased.

Jamie laughed louder this time. Josh sent a little wave of passion. Jamie's eyes lit up with it, so Josh sent another right after.

"I'm really glad I asked you out tonight." Jamie blurted out, clearly regretting it after.

"I'm glad you did too." Josh spoke in a reassuring tone.

"I admit, I couldn't stop thinking about you in class, and Professor Devon's lectures made it so easy for my mind to wander." Jamie said honestly.

"I think Professor Devon's lectures may be less interesting than watching grass grow." Josh grinned devilishly.

"I've read instruction manuals that are more engaging than his textbook." Jamie added.

"Do you read a lot of instruction manuals?" Josh probed.

"Yes actually, I do odd jobs for people, one common one is installing appliances and building furniture." Jamie blushed.

"That's so cool. You must be quite good with your hands." Josh winked.

"I... uh.... You know... handy..." Jamie flushed to his neck and stuttered.

"What do you do outside of class?" Jamie quickly changed the subject.

"I'm the president of the psychology students association, and I work with the student union." Josh answered flippantly.

"Wow! That's a lot to take on." Jamie said, impressed.

"It's not bad." Josh shrugged.

They kept talking for hours. After three drinks and some shared appetizers, Jamie poorly stifled a yawn.

"Past your bedtime?" Josh teased.

"No, I'm fine." Jamie covered.

"Jamie, you look exhausted." Josh pointed out.

"Yeah, this old lady needed some cabinets installed early this morning." Jamie admitted.

"Ok, so I'm going to walk you back to your place so you can get a good night's sleep." Josh half offered and half ordered.

"That sounds perfect." Jamie relented.

Josh stood and pulled Jamie's chair out for him, causing another violent blush. Josh sent warm soft feelings of love, comfort, and coziness. Jamie yawned again, and as they walked down the path carefully began to lean against Josh.

Josh smiled down at Jamie, and slowly wrapped an arm around his shoulders. Jamie leaned into Josh's side. They walked the rest of the way to Jamie's place like that.

"Alright Jamie, this is your stop." Josh announced softly.

"No." Jamie softly retorted.

"This isn't your apartment?" Josh asked sarcastically.

"It is." Jamie answered, taunting.

"Are you going to go inside?" Asked Josh.

"I don't want to." Jamie turned toward Josh's chest. Hiding his face.

"You are so overtired." Josh laughed.

"No, I just wanna stay with you." Jamie whined.

"Yeah I know, but you gotta get some sleep Hon." Josh gently pulled Jamie off of him.

Jamie pouted for a minute, then kissed Josh on the cheek.

"G'night Josh."

"Goodnight Jamie."

Josh left Jamie's building, smiling like an idiot. He looked up to see a shape in the window of Jamie's apartment, watching him. The figure spotted him looking and disappeared. Josh laughed.

"What a dork." Josh snickered to himself.

He took his time getting back to the apartment. He walked in to find Ezra watching TV, which he paused as soon as Josh walked in.

"What took you so long? I was worried." Ezra snapped.

"I told you I'd be out for a while, I'm sorry to worry you." Josh answered, thoroughly confused.

"Yeah but it was dark, you could have gotten into trouble. Next time text me." Ezra sighed.

"Yeah, for sure.... Is something up Ezra? You're not usually like this." Josh asked, sitting next to his clearly annoyed roommate.

"I was just worried about you, just drop it." Ezra replied before storming off to his room.

"Ok something is definitely up with Ezra." Josh thought to himself.

He decided to just leave it until morning. Josh laid down and turned on his phone. He saw a text from Jamie.

"That was fun. Want to grab coffee after class tomorrow and study?"

Josh instantly texted back.

"Sure! I had a great time too! Sleep well hon."

Jamie typed back.

"You too love."

Josh was shocked at Jamie's forwardness. He set an alarm and rolled over, falling asleep quickly. When he was about to leave for class, he sent happy and studious energy towards the still annoyed Ezra. His face softened.

"I'm sorry about last night. You're an adult and I shouldn't have lashed out like that. I just care about you and got myself in a bit of a state." Ezra apologized.

"It's all good Ez. I'm glad I have someone who cares about me." Josh smiled and bid his roommate farewell.

He walked to class quickly, arriving to find Jamie sitting in the seat next to Josh's. The girl who usually sat there was sitting in Jamie's usual chair, looking annoyed. There were no assigned seats in lectures but everyone had "their spot".

"Morning Josh!" Jamie smiled sleepily.

"Morning Jamie, how'd you sleep?" Josh asked.

"Fine." Jamie lied.

"Really?" Josh teased.

"No. I ended up doing two jobs before class so I only slept about four hours." Jamie answered honestly.

"Jamie, you need to sleep." Josh scolded gently.

"Yeah I know." Jamie smirked.

"How did you sleep?" Jamie asked.

"Like a log, I had this date, and it was a great time so I drifted off thinking about the amazing person I went with. They were so cute and funny." Josh flirted.

"That was cheesy. Don't stop." Jamie joked.

It was then that Professor Devon walked in. Both men sighed, and then laughed at their shared apathy. Both men attempted to focus as the lecture moved like cold molasses.

Finally their suffering ended and Josh grabbed Jamie's bag for him.

"How gallant of you." Jamie teased.

"It's my pleasure." Josh laughed. Josh picked a table while Jamie grabbed coffee. He passed Josh his black coffee and Josh's eyes widened seeing what was in Jamie's other hand.

"What is that?" Josh asked incredulously.

"If you must know, it's a pumpkin spice latte, extra cinnamon, with added vanilla syrup, and extra whipped cream." Jamie haughtily responded.

"That is so many things." Josh groaned.

"I'm high maintenance." Jamie retorted.

"Clearly." Josh feigned shock, and the two men laughed.

They drank their coffees and enjoyed the world going on by the window in comfortable silence.

Josh walked Jamie back to his apartment once again.

"Want to watch a movie?" Jamie asked.

"Yeah, I'd like that." Josh smiled and walked in. He sent Ezra a quick message letting him know he'd be running late and to eat dinner without him. Ezra texted back a thumbs up.

Jamie showed Josh in and set up some snacks and drinks; Josh sent calm, relaxed waves toward the other man. Jamie seemed to sleepwalk over to the couch. Josh had sat on one side. Jamie shoved Josh's legs onto the sofa and pressed his back into a soft pile of pillows. Jamie flumped on top of Josh. His cheek pressed into Josh's chest.

Josh didn't want to move or breathe. He didn't want Jamie to reconsider his current position.

"Whad'ya wanna watch?" Jamie asked, his words muffled by Josh's shirt.

"Animated movie?" Josh offered, knowing Jamie likely wouldn't stay awake.

"Sure." Jamie picked a basic animated musical.

As Josh expected, Jamie fell asleep ten minutes in. Josh didn't watch the movie. Instead, he focused on the beautiful creature pressed against his chest. Jamie was deeply asleep, even drooling a little on Josh's shirt. Josh found this adorable. He stroked Jamie's soft, thick hair and brushed his hand against the rough strip of stubble on his jaw. Jamie sighed in his sleep.

Josh didn't realize he had fallen asleep until he woke up to feel fingers running through his hair. He cracked one eye open to see Jamies studying him. He sent the slightly animalistic need he felt towards Jamie. Jamie's hand moved from Josh's head, to his neck, until he was absentmindedly running his fingers over Josh's abs.

Josh moved quickly, his hand lightly holding Jamie's chin before he had even realized Josh was awake.

"Having fun?" Josh teased.

Jamie gasped softly. Josh grinned at him, and just as quickly flipped them so he was on top.

Jamie's eyes widened.

"Can I kiss you?" Josh asked softly, his lips against Jamies ear.

"Yes... please." Jamie squeaked.

"Please. I like that." Josh was living for the feeling of Jamie's quick heartbeat against him. He kept Jamie's chin tilted up towards him as he kissed down Jamie's neck starting at his ear and ending at his collarbone. Jamie shivered. When Josh reached his collarbone he sighed softly.

"You still want this?" Josh growled.

"Desperately." Jamie groaned.

Josh felt something he hadn't felt before. It was an electric field around Jamie. Josh took a guess that this was Jamie's feelings, and he was wired and horny. Josh absorbed that energy and decided to match it. He sent Jamie's energy right back at him, only fueling the crackling air.

"Alright then." Josh grunted.

He kissed Jamie hard. His tongue running roughly along Jamie's lips. He tested the waters, lightly nipping Jamie's lip, Jamie moaned. Josh bit him harder. Jamie moaned again.

"Can I mark you?" Josh asked.

"Yes" Jamie answered breathlessly.

Josh bit down on Jamies collarbone. Nipping, licking, and sucking as the other man squirmed and gasped. Jamie ran his hand up Josh's thigh desperately.

"Oh, you want to go there. Go ahead dearest." Josh smiled.

Jamie undid Josh's zipper and Josh helped him remove his pants. Josh threw his boxers across the room. Thank god Jamie lived alone. Jamie reached for his prize, and his lips parted in mild shock. His hand gave his curiosity away, as it roamed. Josh groaned, the pent up tension getting to him.

"It's... big." Jamie said to himself.

"Would you like to get a better view?" Josh asked.

"Yes, please." Jamie stayed where he was, waiting for instruction.

Josh sat up, took Jamie's chin again and guided him to kneel on the floor before him.

Jamie stared at the man in front of him--muscles covered by a soft layer of fat, strong and sturdy. His eyes roamed down Josh's torso, devouring his lightly hidden abs. Finally, they landed on his enormous cock.

"You can touch it if you like." Josh offered softly, snapping Jamie out of his daze.

Jamie reached out and softly ran his fingers from the tip down the shaft, softly cupping his balls. Josh sat still and quiet, letting his partner explore without interruption. Jamie was the first to say anything.

"It's beautiful." He whispered. Josh just smiled down at his man. Jamie spat gracelessly on his hand and wrapped it around the shaft. Josh breathed in quickly. Jamie looked up at him. Josh nodded once, reassuring him. Jamie stroked up and down slowly, feeling every vein and every twitch. He began to increase his speed. A soft groan left Josh's lips as he leaned back. Jamie smiled and continued to up the pace. Josh's breathing became fast and heavy.

Josh felt the heat between them rising. He felt himself being swallowed by his need. His consciousness devolved only to recognize need and satisfaction. The heat continued to rise. Josh tried to hold back but was overcome by the sensation. He came hard. Jamie grinned like a fool.

Josh took a second to catch his breath. Jamie looked smug.

"Now who's in charge?" Jamie taunted.

Josh had Jamie in his lap before he could blink.

"Still me dearest." Josh growled.

Jamie wanted to laugh but was far too turned on and nervous. Josh slowly peeled away Jamie's jeans. Then lightly petted Jamie's thighs and cock over his boxers. Jamie whined as his cock twitched from the teasing. Josh lightly wrapped a hand around his throat.

"Shhh, dearest, be patient. I want to play for a while." Josh spoke softly. Jamie melted back into Josh, leaning into his hold. Josh continued to stroke and tease Jamie as he gasped and squirmed. Josh finally relented and removed Jamie's boxers. He sent desperate need to Jamie, teasing him emotionally as well.
