Lying on my bed next to an open window, a warm summer breeze is circulating within the room. The clock on my bedside table is ticking loudly seconds passing painfully slow while my mind races at one hundred miles per hour. I hear a car stop and I immediately spring to my feet hoping it's him.
My heart bounds when I see his newly valeted Mini parked on the road outside my house. These past four months have been a living hell not being able to hear his voice every single day, my heart and body ache for him and finally he is here.
I grab my packed bag next to the front door, put on my sunglasses and lock the door behind me. He made his way up the path to retrieve my bag as he could see I had struggled to lift it.
"Going somewhere?" He teased playfully as he removed the bag from my possession . His smile is incredibly beautiful, thousands of butterflies take flight within my tummy as his hand touches mine.
"Maybe!" I replied. I hid every emotion that was pulsating through my body and mind, I opened the door and slid into the passenger seat beside him.
He started his engine and within a split second we left behind our world of reality. Tom was married as was I. We had met 20 years prior when he worked as gardner where he looked after my grandparents' property. The first time I laid eyes on him I was completely blown away by his smile and his toned, muscular body. Gardening became my newfound passion even though I'd never cut a blade of grass I'm my 22 years of grazing this earth.
The sexual chemistry between us on the drive was heightened by the second, it took every fibre of my being not to give in and ask him to pull up somewhere on the side of the road. I wanted him so badly, to feel his soft skin on mine and to sensually kiss every part of his beautiful body. We drove over 6 hours to our secluded retreat, far way from our spouses and prying eyes... now it was just the two of us.
