Chapter 1: The Talk
Brad and Tara had been dating for about three weeks. Things had been going very well. They shared the same interests, had compatible life goals, and their careers looked to be on a trajectory where they could build a long term relationship. Brad was 29, 5'9" with a short, brown haircut. He had a fairly average physique. He wasn't exactly a fitness buff, but he wasn't obese either. He had a stable career in software development for a company that ran point-of-sale software for businesses. It wasn't an exciting job, but it was a job that needed to be done, paid well, kept good hours, and was rock solid stable.
Tara was 26, 5'6" with very long, black hair and a voluptuous, curvy body. One of the first things that was impossible not to notice were her enormous 44H breasts. After high school, she had to buy special bras to support her back so she wouldn't have back pain during the day. She was an editor for a textbook publishing company. Like Brad's job, it wasn't particularly exciting, but was a very reliable and comfortable living, and she enjoyed the random facts she'd learn while proofreading and editing the submissions she had to go over.
Both were comfortable with where they were in life, but ready to take the next step. They'd each had a few long term relationships, but nothing that really stuck. They were ready for something more long term and serious. Someone to build a life with, maybe have some children if it was in the cards. Brad found Tara at an online dating site. Tara found him interesting because, unlike most of the men on the website, when he approached her he mentioned something she had included in her profile. Most guys just tried to strike up a random conversation or worse, commented on her physical appearance before trying to get to know her.
After chatting online for a few days, they eventually talked on the phone, and finally agreed to a quick coffee date. The chemistry was there and they decided to try a real date out for dinner and mini-golf. Then another date the next day for pizza and a local band, even though they agreed it was "too soon." The chemistry just felt too good. After the fourth date, they had sex for the first time. The sex was... good. Brad was an attentive lover, clearly interested in making Tara climax several times. Tara was definitely into Brad and enthusiastically tried a lot of different positions. She didn't even make a big deal when they shifted positions and he accidentally put it in her ass. There was nothing to complain about, things were going really well.
After three weeks going on like this, Tara started to think whether it was time to start taking the relationship more seriously. Maybe go exclusive with Brad with an eye toward moving in together in a month or so, if things are still going well. But, there was a little fly in the ointment. It meant it was time to have "the talk" to set her expectations for the relationship moving forward and make sure Brad's expectations were on the same page. So, Tara decided to invite Brad over to her apartment for some home cooked dinner, watch their favorite show together, and have "a talk". She hoped, even if Brad got some anxiety about needing "to talk", knowing she'd be cooking especially for him would mitigate some of that anxiety since she wouldn't put forth the effort if they were going to break up.
When Brad arrived, Tara was wearing a pretty, casual red dress and some leather flats. Brad was wearing a blue button up and slacks. Over dinner, they discussed their favorite scenes from the show they had been watching together, the performances given by their favorite actors and actresses, and tried to guess where the show was going next. Brad had been feeling that anxiety throughout dinner, and was weirded out by how normal and like their other times spent together tonight had been so far. Brad picked up the dishes, rinsed them off and put them in the sink while Tara cleared the kitchen and table. Afterwards they migrated into the living room.
"So, you said you wanted to talk about stuff. What's up?" Brad asked as they were settling into the couch. Tara didn't sit right next to him the way she had on other dates, instead opting to sit on the edge of the couch on the opposite side.
Tara felt her chest tighten up a little bit. She'd been enjoying her time with Brad, but she was ready for something more serious and it meant it was time to open up for real. "Yeah, you know, I was just thinking that we'd been together for a few weeks now. I really like you and just kind of want to know where you see this going."
Brad started to get more nervous. He really liked Tara. If he was in his early 20s, he probably would have already confessed his love for her, but had become more reserved as he got older. He was ready to get something serious, but didn't want to rush Tara and scare her off.
"Um... I'd have to think about it. Wait, that's not really what I mean. Give me a minute to think about it?" A very pregnant awkward silence filled the room. Brad wracked his brain on how to phrase that he wanted to get serious without putting pressure on Tara.
Ah fuck it.
He thought to himself. "Okay, well... I'd like to take this as far as we can as long as it's feeling good for both of us. Like, I'm not saying I want to change anything right now, just that if we both wanted to make this more of a 'thing', I'd be down for that."
Tara bit her lower lip slightly. Hearing that she was wanted by Brad for something serious was starting to turn her on a little, but excite her more. "What do you mean by 'more of a thing'?" Tara asked.
"Like.. official, I guess? Boyfriend and girlfriend? Not just dating but like... together... I guess?" Brad managed to fumble out, feeling his own anxiety starting to rise by the line of questioning.
"I'd really like that", Tara grinned, feeling butterflies in her stomach, "but, before we move forward I think if we're going to get serious maybe we should talk about what our expectations are. You know, when you first start dating, you're kind of on your best behavior and trying to put your best foot forward. I just wanted to know if there are any deal breakers or things you didn't talk to me about so far that you want or need out of the relationship. Things that might crop up later and mess things up, you know?"
Brad paused and thought for a moment. That made sense, of course. They had both already talked about that they were looking for something more serious and if there was some dirty laundry that might get in the way of that, it was best to get it out of the way early so they didn't accidentally waste time by not being open and honest. Brad knew he had to talk about something, but was really anxious about bringing it up. Tara was the one who opened this line of inquiry, though, so she clearly had something she wanted to talk about.
"Well, if it's okay with you, I think it's fair if you start. This talk was your idea, so I assume you had some things you wanted to talk to me about first," Brad replied.
Shit, I was hoping he'd go first
, Tara thought.
Well, this was my idea. So, I guess it's only fair that I go first.
She tried to subtly breathe deeply through her nose and out of her mouth. "Yeah, okay. We've already talked about how we feel about kids and marriage and that kind of stuff, so it's nothing like that. It's just something..." she paused, worried about this moment when she asked Brad to come over to talk, "sexual... for me."
"Oh," Brad said after Tara let the word linger in the air. He was surprised. They'd already had sex several times and he felt good about it. Tara told him that she had a great time each time. The other women he'd been with had never complained about being unsatisfied. "So, what's up?"
Tara finally just resigned herself and came out with it. "Moving forward, you should know I'm just not that into vaginal sex. Like, I enjoy it and understand the importance in maintaining a close relationship and all that, but it just doesn't do that much for me. I just wanted to be up front before we move forward."
Brad felt a sinking sensation in his chest. Brad wasn't a horndog or anything, but his libido was higher than the average guy's. Being with an unsexual woman would be a big barrier to overcome, maybe even a dealbreaker. Maybe it was good they had this talk now, so he could break it off. "Oh, I see. I think I read about this. So, you're like asexual? I think it's called being 'ASE'?"
The conversation was getting awkward, but Tara couldn't help but laugh a little inside. She was much more horny than most girls she knew. "No, I'm definitely not ASE, I'm just into... something else. Like really into it and I kind of need a partner who is really into it too, which makes it kind of hard for me. You know, since it's a sexual thing it makes it awkward for a first or second date convo."
It was clear to Brad that Tara was being coy. She wanted him to drag it out of her. And it was working. His anxiety was slowly giving way to a curiosity tinged with sexual energy. "So... what are you into?"
"Oral sex." Tara replied curtly while looking directly at Brad, feeling the weight off her chest as she finally came out with it. There was a pause.
"Oh... like you want me to eat you out a lot?" Brad asked.
"No. Well, yes I do want you to eat me out, but not really what I'm talking about. I mean blowjobs. I'm really, really into blowjobs. Like vaginal and cunnilingus to keep things interesting every once in a while, but I love blowjobs," Tara admitted. Even talking about it felt like she was catching her breath. She was getting horny even thinking about it. Dampness started to spread between her thighs. She really liked Brad, but he wasn't really giving her what she wanted.
Hearing this beautiful woman Brad was slowly falling far opine about how much she wanted to suck his dick had made Brad rock hard. He didn't feel that nervous about sharing what he needed now. Tara sucked him during foreplay each time during sex and she was surprisingly enthusiastic. Brad had moved onto other parts of sex because he didn't want to keep her down there too long without making her feel good, and she was really good at it. She was so good, he was worried he'd cum too fast during vaginal to please her. He didn't realize she was getting off on it.
"That's... uh... super fucking hot," Brad stuttered, his mouth drying out as he became more nervously aroused. "So, I guess I should tell you my thing, which will probably make you feel better about your thing. I'm not that into vaginal either. Like, I love it and love doing it with the woman I'm with, but it's not something I ever jerk off to. I'm mostly into blowjobs myself."
Tara felt the wetness spread between her legs even more. She could feel warmth spreading through her labia as it filled with blood and began to widen. But it was too early to get her hopes up. Most guys loved blowjobs, but thought a blowjob was just a blowjob. They didn't know all the kinds of blowjobs there were, especially on how to finish a blowjob. They didn't know how to enjoy a blowjob like it was sex, and would cum as fast as possible which ruined the experience for her. She also hated it when men came on her face. It felt degrading, even if they didn't mean it that way. If it got in her eyes, it burned and it was incredibly hard to get it out of her hair. But, that wasn't the worst part. The worst part is just what a waste it was.
