Kind face
The nerves had settled down. He was moving freely and funny and had her smiling. That beautiful smile. He still had no idea how he had accomplished this. Tonight she wore a beautiful black wrap dress and simple black heels; he had on his khaki pants, a button-down shirt and a nice blazer to go along with it. He had taken her to one of the finest places in town. The gentleman did not shown up empty-handed, flowers and a stuffed animal. Now I know why he asked me my favorite animal, she giggled to herself. This man was doing everything in his power to ensure she had a wonderful evening. Her feet were officially swept off.
After a few dates, he dropped her off at the door. She had a glass of wine, but still had her wits about her. During the drive home she rubbed his thigh and offered, "I don't have anywhere else to be tomorrow. If you have some time you're more than welcome to come in for a drink."
Eternally galant, he responded, "I would be honored." She smiled, pleased with the evening and the man. Inside he had a celebration of the absolute highest caliber.
Under the guise of innocence, she invited him in for a drink. She handed him a longneck, a Budweiser, which she remembered him drinking the first time they met. She opened one up for herself too. They sat together on the couch and begun to inch together slower. The sexual tension was the most potent it had ever been in any situation in the history of humanity.
Her name was Lluvia, the Spanish word for rain. It had been a word that he had always wanted as a name for his daughter. He freely admitted he was a gringo but here was no shame in loving the word. There was a luchadora named Lluvia that he really liked. Also he had never heard a more beautiful sound in any language he has studied. OK just English in Spanish, but still... "Once I looked up the meaning of the name, at least Rain, you know when I had wanted to name it for my daughter, and it told me, 'Abundant blessings from above'. That's when I really loved it."
"That may be the sweetest thing I have ever heard in my life." Lluvia responded enamored with his ability with words.
