I woke to a vibrant feeling, like that of a Saturday in the summer after a grueling year where you slept in and ate cereal by a cheap T.V.
My head pounded but ebbed when I saw Jamie at the edge of my bed, sifting through a cutesy book with a cup of coffee teetering on the footboard.
I slyly peeked a look at the page and smiled. "Come here! The fox yelps, holding his sock and rock. You've got to see the fun it can be when thinking outside the box!" He turned to me with bright blue eyes and I smiled at him. "The others say no! You crazy orange fox! Holding their blocks and lots, do what you please, but you won't find me out of this safe big box!"
His laugh was breathy, eyes glancing between me and the book, "Here." He held the cardboard to me and I took it, flipping to the first page. "Love you."
My eyes flicked from the book to his and lingered on the scars and set jaw. It was clear he hadn't meant for that to come out but seemed like he wouldn't take it back either. "Why?" I asked him with a slight smile and his lip quirked for just a moment.
He hummed and touched his fingertips together. "Don't know why." He sighed shaking hair from his face. "But can... feel."
My lips pursed together at that and I leaned into him, beckoning him closer. When he did I tilted my head and tucked hair behind his ears, looking at his face fully which I never did.
"When you find the words," I cupped his cheeks and held firm until he looked at me again, "When you find the words, come tell them to me, and I assure you...I will say them back."
His gaze hardened, then he sighed. "Okay."
I pressed a kiss to his forehead. "Okay!"
He laughed and I pounced. Jumping on him and pressing kisses all over his brows, nose, cheeks and lips. He lost his balance and we fell to the ground in a heap of laughs and kisses that turned sensual within moments.
The coffee spilled and reached towards my fingers as I leaned back against the bed. His mouth delving between my thighs with such intensity.
He was going to be the death of me.

"You two make me sick." Roman growled as Jamie set a huge plate of food between us on the ground. They had gone shopping three days ago but only for food since Tate and Landon still were not here.
Eric was a nice fellow, the only one who hasn't seen my vagina yet either. It upped his points with me, surely.
"Laying around and fucking all day like rabbits, are you not ashamed?" He griped bringing a dainty teacup to his lips.
Somehow it fit.
"No." Jamie and I said at the same time and we laughed ourselves to tears while Roman went off in the background. "Have time with my wife." He got out and I praised him heavily. He nodded excitedly and pressed a kiss to my temple.
"Make me do all the work while you lay around all day." He muttered and straightened out when Eric walked by. It was uncommon to leave the door open but it seemed they were slowly starting not to care until nighttime.
"Jamester. Roman." He afforded Roman no niceties. "Opal." He nodded to me and I waved at him back since my mouth was full. "Hear anything about the others yet?"
"Nope, radio silent." Roman bit out bitterly. "I feel like a worried wife who's waiting for her husband to get home from war."
"That sums it up well, though most of us didn't eat when you all disappeared." I wriggled my fingers and Jamie sighed. "They'll come home, that I can promise."
"You don't know that at all." Roman snapped.
"I don't know, women got freaky senses." Eric smoothed his brow that furrowed when Jamie set his jaw. "They're like wizards or some shit."
"Seers." I offered and he shook his head.
"I think that's the government guys in Harry Potter." He sniffled and Roman grew red.
"The Ministry?" He screeched and I bit down my laugh that would've sent him over the edge.
"Yeah, whatever. Anyway, tell me when you hear from them. I'm holding you to it, Opes." He clicked his tongue at me and pushed off the doorframe.
I shook my head at the pet name and Jamie snickered, "Like that." He grunted out.
"I'm sure you do." I rolled my eyes and handed him the onion off my burger. He took it without thinking and ate it quietly.
"What am I even looking at right now?" Roman snorted unkindly and stalked off. "I don't like that at all."
We shrugged and picked over the rest of the plates. "I think he's in love with you." I joked and Jamie nodded with raised brows.
"My girlfriend." He huffed and I laughed with him. "Always say that."
I reached for the wine bottle and he pushed my arm away, "Why not?" I sucked my tongue and he waved me off. I reached for it again and again, each tome he pushed me away. "I'll get you more."
"How?" He teased with a nudge to my elbow. "Eat, drink." He compromised and I waited for him to look away to grab for it again. "Knew it."
He grunted and wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me over him as I screamed laughter.
We wrestled around the ground for a moment and were fucking by the next. My nails digging into his chest as I rode him into the sunset. We were rudely interrupted by a knock on the door. "Told you, women are freaky." Eric smirked.
"Come now, Jamie." Roman heaved as though he were going to throw up. Jamie jumped to his feet and grabbed a shirt, speeding past me with only a few steps.
"Stay." He pointed to the room, "Be here."
"I will." I told him jerking my head to the now emptied door. "I won't ever leave you by choice, Jamie."
He nodded, looking at me with warring eyes and cleared his throat. "Okay."
And with that he left.
It took all but two seconds before the other girls came speeding in like hell on their heels.
"What did he say?" Stelle exclaimed moving across the room much how Jamie had. She perched on the bed while Des sat behind me on the side table.
The other two I haven't quite met yet lingered until I waved them in. I watched them pick odd places to sit and talked.
"Eric alluded to the others being here, but they looked stricken. I'm sure the situation isn't good."
She tossed that over while Des spoke, "I heard Hannah screaming, Landon must be hurt."
"Or worse." The one with brown hair sighed, "I'm hoping they all die so that we can be free."
