Chapter 8
After a fun weekend of celebrating Max's birthday, Linda returned to campus, excited to see her roommate. They had so much to talk about since Patricia went to the big party without her.
Patricia had sent Linda a text on Saturday night, telling her that Jake was looking for her. Linda never responded, since she was getting her pussy eaten by Max when the message was sent. She would have been excited if she had seen it when she was alone. However, after such an intimate weekend with her neighbor, the excitement of Jake sort of lost its luster.
"Linda!" her roommate screamed as she walked into the dorm room.
The pretty brunette gave her roomy a big hug. "Patricia!"
"Oh, my God! I have so much to tell you! Did you get my message?"
"Yeah, sorry about that..." Linda responded, turning red from remembering what she was busy doing. "I was really busy with... family... By the time I saw it, I figured it was too late to respond."
Much to her surprise, it was a bigger deal than she ever expected. "I didn't want to bother you, but Jake was looking for you!"
"He was?" Linda asked, raising her eyebrows. She didn't want to get too excited. It was possible Jake just asked about her since he saw Patricia alone.
"Oh my God! Yes, girl!" Patricia said enthusiastically, ruining her theory. "He kept asking me about you. What you're like outside of parties, if you have a boyfriend, if you would hang out with him!"
Linda's heart jumped and her mouth almost hit the floor. "He really asked you all that?!"
"Yes! He even asked me for your number."
The cute brunette shook her head, trying to snap herself out of this dream. "Did you give it to him?"
"Of course not!"
"Okay..." Linda stomped her feet, trying to figure out her pesky roommate's plan. "And why the hell wouldn't you give him my number?"
"That's such a cop-out to ask a friend for a number," Patricia explained. "He needs to be man enough to ask you himself. You deserve it!"
"You know... I don't know why I ever doubted you," Linda responded with a laugh." "I knew there was a method to your madness."
"Don't worry, Babe. We'll see him again and he better ask you for your number. The real question is, will you give it to him?"
Originally, Linda thought it wouldn't be a good idea to give her number to a guy like Jake. But now that it was a real possibility, she realized the excitement of the opportunity. "You know? I think I will..."
--
Linda entered her room and immediately threw her backpack on the floor. With a heavy sigh, she took her shoes off and jumped into bed.
"How was class?" Patricia asked.
"Same as always; Boring!"
"Class isn't supposed to be fun."
"Yeah, but I can't believe it's only Wednesday!" Linda replied, sounding completely annoyed. "Why can't it be the weekend all the time?"
"Well, I actually have good news for you," Patricia started. "Tommy invited me to the frat house and wants me to make sure you come. I bet Jake will be there!"
"They're having a party?" Linda asked, confused. "On a Wednesday?"
"I don't know, but we're invited, and I don't feel like saying no. Are you down?"
"Of course I am!" the cute freshman cheered. Unfortunately, a thought stopped her in her tracks. "Oh, wait. I really should study. I have a test next week."
"Aw, that sucks! Well, I'm not going if you're not going. I'll text them right now."
"Wait, wait... We can go for a little bit, can't we?"
"I don't want to stop you from studying, though," the concerned roommate argued.
Linda wasn't having it and formulated a plan. "I think I could put it off for a bit."
"Are you sure?"
"Just give me one moment." Linda pulled out her phone and texted Max. Like always, she decided to lean on her responsible neighbor when she needed him the most. "Can you help me study for my midterm?"
Luckily for her, Max quickly responded. "Of course."
The fun-loving girl quickly got up to her feet and cheered, "I got everything worked out. Let's go hang out with the boys!"
--
That evening, they went to the frat house they had gone to for so many crazy parties. Much to their surprise, it looked as if nothing was going on. There weren't that many people, just a few of the guys, drinking in the living room. There was no music, no lights, no food, and no other women.
"What's going on, ladies?" one guy asked.
"Ummm, Tommy invited us," Patricia answered as they walked in hesitantly.
"I'll go grab him," the frat boy replied as he put down his beer and ran towards the bedrooms.
"I guess there isn't a party," Linda whispered to Patricia. "Are you sure this is a good idea?"
"I'm sure everything is fine!"
Tommy arrived from the back wearing a big smile. He then ran up and gave Patricia a big hug.
"Hi Tommy!" the girl said, as they embraced. "So, is there no party tonight?"
"I just thought we could hang out," Tommy answered with a genuine smirk. "And I see you brought Linda!"
"Of course I did. Why was it so important that I bring her?"
"Because..." the frat guy started as he pulled out two chairs for the ladies. "Jake really wants to see her."
The cute brunette's face became warm. "He does?!"
Tommy pulled out a couple of beers for the ladies. "Of course, he does."
They then began chit-chatting, taking the quiet moment to get to know one another. Though Tommy and Patricia wanted to talk about themselves, Linda had something more important on her mind. "So, does Jake have a girlfriend?"
"You know, I've never seen him with a girlfriend. You're the first person I've seen him really interested in."
"Is that so?" Linda asked, raising an eyebrow. "Didn't you tell me that he talks to a lot of girls?"
"I did say that," Tommy conceded. "But like I said, he was talking to them to help our fraternity parties. As far as actual interest, I've never seen him head over heels like I have with you."
Linda started blushing again at Tommy's comments. Though skeptical, it made her feel special thinking she was Jake's choice out of all the hot girls he has been around.
Suddenly, Tommy noticed his good buddy's car pulling up through the front window. He left to go see him before the girls could talk to him. "I'll be right back, ladies."
As Jake got out of his car, he noticed the younger fraternity brother coming out of the house. "What's up, bro?"
"You'll never guess; I got Patricia and Linda here! Linda can't wait to see you!"
"Good job!" Jake said with a high five. "You didn't fuck up like you did last time when you told her I talk to a lot of girls, did you?"
