This is the first and longest story that I have posted on Literotica. Thinking back, I wouldn't change a thing, as you will discover. I hope all of you enjoy reading this story as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Happy reading and please leave some feedback. I appreciate it!

The definition of chemistry is defined as the interaction of one personality to another. In order for chemistry to happen, you actually have to talk and connect with someone. And that's where I had a problem. I was very shy, and my friends tried really hard to get me out of it, but nothing had worked. And every time they introduced me to a guy, I'd go running off the other way. It was quite embarrassing to be 23, beautiful AND shy.
I tried working on my confidence and found that it worked...in the mirror. I knew how to respond to most pick up lines, and made myself appear to be bold. But if I wanted that true, real-life experience, then I'd have to get out of the shell and explore. And then one day, I went to the club and had the best experience of my life...
I sat by the bar at Rain, a popular mingling joint downtown. Finishing a small glass of champagne, I sat back and relaxed with the crowd. Watching the atmosphere ignite, I decided that after a hard week, I deserved this. I wore a little black dress, medium height heels and my lucky silver earrings. My hair was down and I wore no makeup besides lip-gloss. The lights were dim, romantic serenades strumming through the air, and all was perfect. That is, until I suddenly heard someone behind me.
"Excuse me miss, is this seat taken?" A masculine voice asked. I turned and there stood a tall, handsome man. He had short dark brown hair, blue eyes, and this amazing smile that had pretty much pulled me in. His body was obviously big, wearing a dark blue shirt and khaki pants; if anything, he was the perfect package already. I couldn't hide the big grin on my face.
"No, this seat is not taken." I said. He sat down next to me and I turned to check my messages nervously, though I'd checked for them five minutes ago. From the corner of my eye, I noticed him looking at me. I turned my head and we locked glances. I felt this fluttering in my stomach, a sign that some kind of rush had taken over me. It was unbelievable that he was doing this to me and all I did was look!
"Would it be wrong if I offered to buy you a drink? " he asked. Still caught in his eyes, my brain finally responded.
"You don't have to do that." I replied.
"I would like to." He insisted, enticing me with his eyes again. A short pause followed on my end followed by a sweet grin.
"Okay, sure." I caved. He smiled and gestured for the bartender. We were fixed two glasses of wine. "Thank you."
"Anytime. So, do you come here a lot?"
"Well, only when I have time to unwind. This week has been hard on me. You?"
"Not really, just once in a while. And tonight, I had a feeling that something special would happen." He said, flashing his perfect smile. Smiling back, I realized that this was chemistry in the works, and I was certainly enjoying myself. So I kept it up.
"So, what's your name?"
"My name is Luke. Are you are?"
"Ashlynn. Nice to meet you." I said, holding my hand out to shake his. He took my hand.
"Nice to meet you too, Ashlynn. Very nice." He replied, kissing my hand. I let out a little giggle, electricity flashing through me. This man was truly charming! He then held my hand in his. "I hope I'm not coming off too strong..."
"No, definitely not." I said, putting my hand over his and absorbing the heat coming off of him. I never imagined that I'd be feeling this way, and nothing in the back of my mind was telling me to shy away, so something was going right. This was good, good indeed. He then grabbed his glass.
"How about a toast?" he said. I grabbed my glass.
"And what shall we toast to?"
"Let's toast to...being able to unwind and having special things happen." He said, his voice so deep and sultry. He could easily sweep me off of my feet...oh wait, he'd already done that! With a nod, our glasses clinked and we sipped. He took my hands again, softly kneading my fingers with his. "So, what made your week miserable? A pretty woman like yourself shouldn't be stressed out."
"Yeah, I don't handle stress very well. But I work as a nurse and I'd been working for what seemed to be constant shifts. I felt like I couldn't get away, but I finally got time off and here I am."
"I'm glad you got some time to yourself. I totally understand your shift situation; I do the same at my job. It's stressful, yes, but when you love what you do, it feels different."
"What do you do?"
"I am a fireman at the No. 49 Firehouse." He said, and right away I was more than intrigued. Out of all men, I love those in uniform; cops and firemen are near the top of my list. Looking him up and down, I should've made some kind of assumption that he got that sexy, bulky body doing some kind of heavy work. That's not something you just get at the gym...I suddenly caught myself picturing him lifting me into his arms and lying me onto a bed somewhere...
"Fireman? Well, you are certainly awesome in my book. There's nothing more admirable than a guy who is willing to serve the community and risk his own life. You have my vote." I said, looking into his eyes again. Those baby blues twinkled in the light and I fluttered once more. In fact, I don't think that my body ever stopped since I first saw him. He stood.
"Would you dance with me?"
"Of course." I said, my breath hitching when he took my hand. He might've been leading me out to the floor, but I felt like I was floating along amongst the sea of mingling individuals. And the people around me seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of us. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close, my hands sliding up his strong arms and broad shoulders until they met near the back of his neck. Once our eyes met again, I noticed that he towered my 5'8" by at least a head or two. He overqualified in my department of approval, and I hoped that more would come of this. There was much of him to be desired; I had even gone so much as to begin thinking long-term! We swayed to the slow tempo, my body now on fire. Pure muscle was surrounding me and it felt amazing. I also noticed that slowly, our faces got closer and closer until we were an inch from each other. My eyes were half-lidded in lust and his cologne was entrancing...
"Ashlynn..." he choked out. The tone and gruff in his voice sent shivers down my spine, all of which seemed to go straight between my thighs... "Would it be wrong if I told you that I've been wanting to kiss you since I sat down next to you at the bar?"
By this moment, my head was swimming, my body turned to putty in his hands.
"No." I sighed. "I've wanted the same as well." I then said, leaning forward. And with that, his lips took over mine. His arms held me tighter, our chests pressed together as he possessed me. My knees began to weaken and my heart pounded, imagining being held like this every moment for the rest of my life. I wanted that mouth all over my body, burning my skin with every touch and making me moan in exquisite pleasure for more. Drawing a satisfied moan from my lips, he pulled back. I took in more of this wonderful man, lifting my hand to gently caress his strong jaw. Upon hearing his rough, deep breaths, I couldn't help myself, taking another sweet kiss from him. He took me deeper, his hands at the small of my back pressing me up against his body to feel something hard. Though I'd gasped, somehow, I had forgotten that I still needed to breathe in order to live and pulled back this time.
"Something special, huh?" he breathily replied. I nodded.
"Yeah." I whispered, pulling more air into my lungs. He gave me a short kiss.
"Want to get out of here?"
A question that barely needed any thinking upon, one can be sure.
"Yes, let's." I said and we left the club. Getting outside, he held my hand as we walked down the street. I took the time to notice the beautiful night scene; hell, everything was beautiful when you couldn't think about anything but love! We had walked about two blocks and had reached his walkway...
We got into his place, kissing and groping each other. I seemed to feel my heartbeat all over my body, the ache between my legs intensified by this new contact. He picked me up in his arms and held me in a kiss, making me feel like a feather in his embrace. He carried me off to his bedroom and shut the door, pressing me against it. I could feel him very hard against my stomach, and I was definitely going wild down below. He walked us over to the bed and lay down on top of me, stealing a sweet kiss from my lips. I playfully let out a teased sigh when he pulled away, only to be rewarded with searing kisses on my neck. My hands found his head, running fingers through his soft hair as he slowly drove my body into madness. His fingers slid down my sides, grazing my curves until they were underneath my dress, teasing my inner thighs with his thumbs. Softly, I cried out for more, but his hands roved upward, taking the dress up and over my head, leaving me in my black lacy bra and panty set. Once he tossed that aside, I began unbuttoning his shirt, massaging his strong chest and biceps as I pushed it off. He took off his undershirt and my hands continued to travel over his big sexy body. His hard, cut and strong torso was perfect for protection and the focus of my desires.
