This is a work of fiction of fantasy. All people having sex are over the age of 18. No Anal, no incest and no group sex. I could not decide whether to put this story in the interracial or romance section of this site. There is some sex in the early part of my stories and then the action heats up. You will not be disappointed. I was not an English major in college so please forgive any typos, grammar and punctuation errors. Your comments and ratings are always appreciated. Sam Emerson walked into the Klein's supermarket at their store in Scarsdale, New York. Sam's father, Ari Klein started his business only ten years ago. In that short time, his concept of opening stores in the wealthiest neighborhoods throughout the country has made him a millionaire many times over. Some of the locations where he opened stores included Beverly Hills, California, Naples, Florida, The Hamptons, New York City, Aspen, Colorado, and Bloomfield, Michigan.
The stores were only open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday and the store was closed on Sunday. Ari only offered the best in produce, fish and meats. The freshness of all the products was unquestionably the best any store could offer. The stores had full time butchers to cut the meats to order. The prices reflected the quality and the people who shopped at the store as they did not care of how much the items cost. The customers were affluent millionaires and billionaires. These people often sent their staffs to do their shopping. People loved working at the stores as Ari paid his employees well and offered many opportunities for advancement.
Sam, recently separated from the Marines after four years, needed to learn about how the stores ran, so when he took over from his dad, he would know everything about the operation. His dad suggested he work at the Scarsdale store for at least four months. He did not want anyone to know his true identity, so he used his mom's maiden name as his last name. He had never been in the Scarsdale store so he was confident he would maintain his anonymity.
It was 8:15 AM, but the store was empty except for a few employees.
He ran into one of the clerks and asked where the main office was located. "Go to aisle 14 and walk toward the back of the building. The office is just past the seafood stand."
"Thanks."
The office consisted of one large office, probably where the General Manager worked and three smaller offices and a reception area where he waited for Johnnie Barnes. Johnnie was to set up his schedule and be his mentor for the next four months. He was hoping that he would be able to work with this guy.
It was around 8:30 AM when the beautiful spring day was reflected by the woman who came into the office wearing a light color printed dress with a matching sweater. He figured that she was the receptionist when she placed her pocketbook on the front desk and when she sat down on the chair by that desk.
After she settled at her desk, Sam went over to her and said, "I'm waiting for Johnnie Barnes. Will he be here soon?"
The woman didn't look up from her desk. With her right hand she pointed to the couch by the wall. "Just sit," she said.

People started filing into the office. Ten minutes after he spoke to the receptionist a woman came up to him and said, "Sam Emerson, I'm Johnnie Barnes. Don't ask. It's a long story." As she laughed.
Sam was too mesmerized to laugh. In front of him was a beautiful light-skinned African-American woman. She was about five foot-six inches tall, with probably a firm 36C bust. Her wavy brunet hair fell to the top part of her back. She had blondish, light tan highlights. All this packaged in a light-yellow spring dress that rested well above her knees. She was wearing the same color high heeled shoes that accented her long, shapely legs. No stockings. She wore very little makeup aside from some light pink lipstick. She had a thin ring on her middle finger of her left hand and hoop earrings. She looked like a younger version of the singer Marilyn McCoo.
Sam continued staring for another thirty seconds when Johnnie broke him out of his trance. "Mr. Emerson, Mr. Emerson," she called.
"I'm sorry. Just thinking."
"Can you tell me what it was you were thinking about?"
"Not if I want to remain employed." Sam smiled.
"Good answer." She could not suppress a smile as she turned away from Sam so he could not see the smile. She turned back to Sam and said, "Come into my office so we can get you started."
Sam followed her to the second largest office in the complex. She pointed to the chair in front of her desk. He sat.
"I received a letter from the HR Director asking me to take you on, getting you acclimated to this company and the management level position they are training you for. I'm a little confused. Normally one must work themselves up from basically, a shelf stocker to be in this position. What's your story?"
"I went to UCLA to study architecture. I needed some walking around money, so I got a job at the Klein's store in Beverly Hills." Johnnie knew the store well. There were some issues with management, so the owner brought in a new GM about three years after Sam left. "I worked there during my last two years in school. After graduation I sent a letter of thanks to the owner, Ari telling him how much I loved working in the store and when I finished graduate school, I'd reach out to him. As you can see from my resume, I received my MBA in business and finance at the Wharton School then went on to serve a tour in the Army, stationed in Afghanistan and now I'm back home."
"With your degrees why do you want to stock shelves?"
"I want to learn the business so I can be your boss one day," Sam replied with a wide smile. "Really. I know this is a good company to work for, encourages employees to improve their skills and make suggestions that are actually read. If I get hired, I don't think it would be to stock shelves."
"Take a look at the schedule I've prepared for you. If you need to change anything let me know. The names of the supervisors you'll be working with is also noted."
"Can I ask you for a favor?"
"You're here all of ten minutes, and you are asking me for a favor?" Johnnie smiled. If she were wearing panties, they would be soaked by now. This man, unknowingly, turned her on, more so than any man in recent memory. Something she did not expect. She saw him checking her out when she introduced herself to him. She found Sam extremely handsome, looking at his 6'1" toned body, with wavy black hair, piercing blue eyes and a clean-shaven face. He was wearing a fitted blue pinstriped suite, striped blue shirt without a tie. "But I have a job to do," she thought.
"Two can play this game," Sam thought. "If you grant me the favor, I'll repay it by taking you to dinner after I've been here few months," he said.
All the alarms went off, but Johnnie said, "Okay. What's the favor? And by the way you don't need to wear a suit when you are not in front of the customers. Just look at the schedule."
"Please tell all the supervisors my story. It will save time of me having to repeat the story about twenty times. Thank you."
You're not a very good salesman, Mr. Emerson"
"I think I got the better of the deal, Ms. Barnes."

Even though Sam's cover was to learn about the store, his real job, according to his dad, was to evaluate the management for the third most profitable store. Sales have been flat, and while the GM was supposed to be a solid man, there was little innovation coming from the store.
Ari Klein loved it when employees came up with innovative ideas on how to move the business forward. He often rewarded those individuals with a generous check.
For the next six weeks Sam was doing what he was supposed to do. By the end of the second week, he began bringing Johnnie coffee and a donut from Dunkin' Donuts. Now six weeks into his job, no matter how early she arrived, he was always waiting for her.
"Do you sleep here? You always beat me into the office."
Sam laughed. "Some departments require my having to be here real early."
They flirted with each other, but it never got further than that.
A month later, on a Monday morning, Johnnie beat Sam into the office. "I finally got you!" she laughed.
"I guess going to the dentist doesn't give me a pass?"
"Damn, I thought I had you," Johnnie was laughing hysterically.
"My Novocain should be wearing off soon. Can I take you to lunch?"
"Is that proper, a trainee going out with the assistant GM."
"Take the risk. The most they can do is fire you. Just kidding. I'll meet you in front of the store at noon."
Johnnie didn't have a chance to say no as Sam walked out of the office.

They met on time and Johnnie suggested going to a trendy spot, The 808 Bistro. "What kind of car are you driving," Johnnie asked Sam.
"Seven-year-old Honda Accord."
"Seriously? That's the best you can do?" Johnnie was laughing.
"What can I tell you! I guess you're telling me that we will be taking your car."
They walked to Johnnie's car, an Audi Q8 55 Premium Plus. Tan in color it was a fine-looking car.
"They must be paying you too much," Sam laughed.
"My grandmother left me some money when she passed away last year. She was a great lady."
"I'm sorry."
"Thank you."
It took ten minutes to get to the restaurant and were seated immediately.
Johnnie ordered the Crab Cake and Sam ordered the Lobster and Pappardelle Bolognese. Even though they had to return to work, Johnnie ordered a bottle of Chardonnay.
They clicked glasses and sampled the wine.
"Your turn first," Sam said to Johnnie.
"I grew up right here in Scarsdale. Scarsdale High School then to Tufts for my degree in Accounting and Finance. Then off to Harvard for my MBA. Could not decide what I wanted to do with my life, so I took two years off and traveled, by car across the country. Put ten-thousand miles on a car like yours," she laughed. "When I got back home, I found a listing for Klein's, as a junior accountant in the home office in New York City. Got promoted twice and here I am. Yes, I bought a condo in one of the apartment buildings in town. My parents live in Mamaroneck."
"When you traveled what places did you like the best?"
"The Utah National Parks and Key West."
"Great choices. Been to both. You really did travel. Maybe we should revisit those places."
"Are you asking me on a date?"
"It would be longer than a standard date." Sam had a huge smile.
"Let's see how the next few months go?" She replied. "You may be gone and I may not see you after you leave."
Sam said, "Yes and no."
"Current relationships," Sam asked.
"You are bold, Sam. No current relationship and none for the last few years."
