Author's Note:

This story originally began with "

Halloween"

and has developed over time. I struggled with this chapter since I liked the characters and their development; they felt real in their emotions and their interaction with each other. The story became more than gratuitous sex and descriptions of orgasms, developing into love and deep feelings that show maturity. Boring, I know. I get it but give it a chance. We all grow up at some point. Enjoy! S&L

Adriana

Time passes quickly when a person reaches a certain point in their lives, personal and professional. Adriana and I have been working as a team in Abdel's global business empire for more than four years since I was 'given' to her by Abdel at one of his legendary Halloween parties. At that time, he officially announced her promotion to Corporate Head of Far East Operations, and my position as her 'Assistant', a loosely defined position that is unlike anything in a formal business structure, as well as my being promoted to Global VP and his personal in-house counsel. The time passed in a blur, a wonderful blur spent in a unique and exciting business environment with people that I truly loved, and no one more than Adriana. She and I formalized our personal relationship three years ago after a 2-week business trip when she presented me with a white gold choker containing a 21/2 carat diamond with a white gold ring and leash; it's complicated but so is love. Adriana and I bought a magnificent apartment together after making our relationship formal and living with her has been the best part of my life.

I have lived openly as Rachelle for the five years since I joined Abdel as it was one of his stipulations when he found that I secretly cross-dressed on weekends outside the office where I worked at the time. His requirement brought me out into the daylight and helped start a transition that was right for me but how he understood what I needed remains a mystery to me. Robert, the official me, has ceased to exist as far as anyone in my world is concerned.

Abdel and I have maintained an unusual relationship over these years, one where personal and professional lines blur and it is not uncommon for me to occasionally spend the night with him after we finish business for the day, or for me to help relieve some of his tension during the day as well. Adriana understands this and accepts it without question because she knows how his business works and knows that I love her unconditionally. It is a strange world we inhabit although it is never dull.

Arriving at the office one nondescript day, I found a memo from Abdel in an envelope on my desk which was marked "Personal & Confidential". Very ominous to put it mildly and since it only requested my presence at a lunch meeting with Abdel, there were no tea leaves to read. Adriana was out of the office and not expected back until tomorrow, so I had no confidant to look to for opinions or information. Usually when Abdel wanted to see me he would walk over to my office since we were next to each other in the executive suite, or he would call me on the phone or simply yell my name if he felt the phone would take too long. A formal memo for a lunch meeting signaled something akin to 'DefCon 3'.

When Adriana got my call she said that she just received a text from George, Abdel's 'valet', saying that Abdel wanted to see her for a drink tomorrow night when she is back in the office. It surprised her and when I told her about the memo I received she shared my apprehension but we were both in the dark but it was becoming clear that whatever was happening involved both of us.

Arriving in Abdel's conference room where the table was set for lunch for two, I saw George and as usual he greeted me warmly with a kiss on both cheeks and a pleasant smile. I hugged him and softly said with a smile, "What the fuck, George? A memo for lunch? Am I getting fired?"

"People in your position don't get fired, Ms. Rachelle, they simply disappear," he replied with a quiet laugh.

"Talking to you always makes me feel better," I said laughing out loud.

"Everyone seems to be having a pleasant time," said Abdel with a smile as he entered the room.

"George has a wonderful sense of humor," I responded with a smile and walked over to kiss him on the cheek.

We sat at the table and George brought two glasses of wine, placing them in front of us. I looked directly at Abdel, saying in a somber tone, "I assume lunch will be survivable since there is no bourbon."

"You have become more dramatic over the years, Rachelle," replied Abdel with a big smile that lightened the mood tremendously.

We sipped the wine and enjoyed a pleasant conversation as we had appetizers. It was reminiscent of our early days together when we laughed, had sex and simply enjoyed our time working together. He never acted like a true boss but his position was never in doubt although I knew I had a special place in his heart.

When we started lunch Abdel addressed the elephant in the room. "Rachelle, we have a problem. It is a difficult one and concerns three people. I am meeting with you first because, simply put, I know how you think and want your input before I walk into the lion's den, naked and unarmed."

I laughed and replied, "You're frightened of a 'girl', aren't you? My God, Abdel, you fear no one, you're the toughest man I know, and yet you have apprehension about speaking to a little 'girl' who works for you." I laughed until tears started coming down my cheeks. George walked in to see what he might have missed and looked at me. "He's frightened of a 'girl' George! Do you believe it?" I said to him barely controlling myself.

Abdel was also laughing at this point showing his sense of humor and the warmth that he felt for me. "Rachelle, if I didn't love you I would really hate you right now. Please focus for a few minutes, Counselor."

"I'm sorry, sir," I said seriously. "I didn't know what to expect today and I was honestly nervous and my laughter is more a sign of relief than anything else. You know how I feel about you and this outburst was not meant to demean our relationship." I got up and walked behind him to kiss his neck. "I'm sorry, please forgive me."

"Of course," he said with a smile.

When I sat down again we got down to serious business. Abdel explained that he has made inroads into a market that would involve shipping through the Bosphorus to Armenia and Georgia, and once the Ukrainians get rid of the Russians, a whole new set of opportunities will emerge overnight. This is a big deal and requires a seasoned hand to manage it, a tough, disciplined, and somewhat ruthless person to watch our interests. He looked at me and said with a smile, "Any ideas?"

I thought for a minute and responded, "One...but it's akin to releasing the Kracken and standing aside. But give me 24 hours to get out of town before you say anything."

"So you do understand our problem," he laughed.

"You're right to be frightened, sir, if I read the situation correctly," I said.

"What is your assessment?" he asked.

"It is too big and complicated an assignment to be handled long distance, at least initially. Someone must be the 'boots on the ground' to lead the operation in a very inhospitable and violent part of the world, supported by a cadre of good, honest people that doesn't exist right now. You don't have a seasoned team to put in place so whoever gets the short straw to manage this assignment must go into the area to assemble a team in a hurry. Complicating it, you cannot afford to lose upper management here so the team that I assume you would normally throw at this would also cripple your corporate operation worldwide. Your choice seems to be to split your best team and suffer the consequences of that disruption or sending a "B" team and risk chaos and failure. But it is not entirely a business decision, is it?"

Abdel looked at me and had a troubled look on his face. "George, bring me a bourbon," he said into the air quietly, and then continued, "No, it is not strictly a business decision, Rachelle. I think you know how I feel about you, and I believe that you can surmise how I feel about Adriana. She is my star and the two of you are unmatched. It is the most difficult decision that I have had to wrestle with in many years and I seriously considered abandoning this expansion entirely rather than doing what must be done to make it work.

"As my Counselor, if you would separate yourself for a moment, I want your honest, unvarnished opinion since there are three votes that will be cast in a very short time. Any one negative vote will scuttle the expansion but if we go forward by unanimous decision, we go forward as partners with all the benefits of success split three ways."

"George, may I have a bourbon too, please?" I said into the air. "I understand, sir, and I don't envy your position."

"Our position, my dear," he said, "we are in this together."

I sat silently, nervously fingering the ring on my necklace, thinking how much I loved Adriana, wishing that she were here to provide advice. I picked up my drink and took a sip, hoping that the burning liquid would distract me even momentarily.

"It doesn't help, does it, Rachelle?"

"No, it doesn't," I said. "Even if our separation is not permanent, I don't know if I can manage without her. She is so much a part of me right now I would rather cut off my arm than be without her and running the Far East requires a certain ruthless ninja finesse that few individuals possess."

"If it's any consolation, I feel the pain for both of you."

"Abdel, I must think on this so would you mind terribly if I stayed with you tonight? I don't want to be alone right now and Adriana isn't coming back until tomorrow morning so I need someone else to hug me tonight."

"Of course, I understand and you are always welcome in my bed."

"Thank you, and if you will excuse me, I have some contracts to review and would appreciate some quiet time. Thank you for lunch, I enjoyed spending time with you as always." I walked out, kissing George on the way and telling him that I would see him tonight. He smiled but knew deep down that it would not be a normal social occasion.

When I reached my office George walked in behind me and closed the door. "Are you alright, Ms. Rachelle?" he whispered, "you appear troubled."

"No, I'm not alright but thank you for asking and for caring," I replied.

"Things work for the best and you and Ms. Adriana are the strongest people I know so you will be fine whatever you decide."

"Thank you, George."

Adriana called me in the afternoon to ask about lunch and I gave her a very short answer simply saying that it will be clear tomorrow after she gets to the office and we will talk before she meets Abdel for drinks.

"That motherfucker, I'll cut his balls off if he hurt you somehow," she said which elicited a laugh from me.

"Adriana, I love you so much. You are so special, so predictable and always know what to say to cheer me up. Thank you.

"Everything is going to be fine and I will see you tomorrow my love. But I am going to spend the night with Abdel in case you look for me," I said.

"He upsets you and then he expects to get laid? Fucking bum, I'll make him suffer for sure now," and we both laughed. "I miss you, Rachelle."

"I miss you, too. Love you."

Abdel stuck his head in my office to tell me that he was leaving and would be working from his home office so I could come over whenever I finished up. He asked if I spoke to Adriana which caused me to laugh. I told him yes, adding that tomorrow would be an interesting day and he simply said, "Oh fuck," before laughing and walking out.

When I arrived at Abdel's house I walked to my resident office and George came in right behind me with a bourbon. "You're one drink behind, Ms. Rachelle."

I laughed and went to see Abdel to tell him I wanted to shower before dinner. He hugged me and said he would meet me in the dining room when I was ready. I had a quick shower and slipped into a satin robe before joining Abdel since tonight was very informal. He was very complimentary of my outfit and added, "Rachelle, I remember vividly the first time I saw you here and how beautiful you were. You have matured over the years and actually I believe that you are more beautiful today in my opinion." Abdel took my hand and kissed it.

"You're make me blush, you old romantic," I said.

After dinner Abdel went to shower and I decided to join him, soaping him and letting him wash me before getting on my knees to savor the feeling of his rock-hard cock going in and out of my throat while he held my head still and moaned with pleasure. Clearly, he was in no hurry and enjoyed the attention I gave to him. He fingered my ass while massaging my breasts and squeezing my nipples, then gently stroking my dick. I massaged his prostate, kissed his cock to keep it hard and licked his nipples before rinsing him off. Abdel toweled off and went to bed while I applied lightly scented lotion to my body and lube to my anus so I was ready for what I knew he wanted.

Curling up in a spoon position, he held me tightly as I lay still, feeling his erection probing the crack of my butt and slipping between my legs. He gently kissed my neck and whispered, "This feels so good and I have missed you, my sweet. None of the people that come to my bed hold a candle to you and I envy Adriana to have you to herself all the time."

"Not all the time, my dear. We have our moments and you know that I am yours whenever you want me," I said softly.

I felt his hard cock pressing on my anus and the head slowly slip past the rosebud to gain entry into my body. I held the sheets, closed my eyes and felt his dick move deeper inside me as he moaned with pleasure as the grip of my sphincter around his cock increased. "I need you inside me," I said, "I have missed feeling your hard cock in my ass, stretching me to the limit. Push deeper...harder. Fuck me like the bitch I am. Your bitch!"

Abdel rolled me onto my back, took my knees and placed them on his shoulders. He pushed deep into me while staring into my eyes, which slowly closed as he took my wrists and held them over my head. He stretched me and fucked me hard, saying as he grit his teeth, "You are a bitch and I hate you as much as I love you for what you make me feel."

I felt tears come to my eyes as the orgasm built inside me and exploded with such intensity that I shook with spasms that seemed to last for minutes unabated. Abdel cried out as he came and shot hot semen into my guts, his cock pulsing and throbbing before he collapsed at my side breathing heavily.

We lay together for quite a while in a sticky, sweaty mess smelling of sex before I got up to get a warm towel to clean him off and then washed myself off as well.

"Abdel, I feel like a drink. Can I get one for you?" I said quietly.

"I would like that very much, my love," he replied as I walked naked into his study.

Returning with two glasses, I gave one to him before getting into bed to lay next to him and clinking his glass with mine. "Do you miss Adriana very much when she is away?" he said.

"Terribly," I replied. "It's like part of me is missing. I have never felt this way about another human being and the emptiness is almost crippling."

We sat quietly in the near darkness sipping our drinks and eventually I slid down, leaning my head on his shoulder as he placed his arm around me, holding me close. Abdel took our glasses and put them on his night table while I drifted off to sleep in his arms.

I woke up as the faintest glow of morning entered through the windows and went to the bathroom to quietly shower while Abdel slept. The hot water felt wonderful and as it cascaded over my body I thought how lucky I am to have this life. A beautiful woman who loves me unconditionally and a fantastic job with a man who loves me as well. Can it get better or will it simply fall apart one day leaving me desolate?

I shut the water off and toweled dry before leaving the shower to look in the mirror. I liked what I saw and suddenly knew that George was right. Whatever path Adriana and I take we will be okay. I put on my robe and walked into the bedroom as Abdel stirred and George walked into the room with a tray with coffee. "I thought I heard someone moving around so I brought coffee," he said quietly with a smile.

"Don't you sleep, George?" I asked.

"Not during the week, Ms. Rachelle," he replied with a grin before adding, "I received a text from Ms. Adriana this morning asking if everything was okay and I told her that I had no idea what she meant."

"Did she respond?"

"Yes, but nothing for polite company at this time of the morning," he said.

"That means she's happy to be coming home," I replied.

"I know."

"Are you two having a meeting in here while I try to sleep?" Abdel said faking anger.

"I'm sorry, sir," said George while winking at me.

I made a coffee for Abdel and went to the dressing room with mine to start getting ready for the day ahead. Abdel eventually came in to kiss my neck before his shower. I kissed him and told him I would see him in the office later and he replied thanking me for keeping him company. I told him that I should be thanking him since I needed his hugs and kisses. I also gave George a kiss before I left telling him I would see him later.

In the office, as I was deep in thought over a stack of papers while I sipped a coffee, I heard familiar footsteps approaching in the hallway, "Is the bitch in her cage?" came the recognizable voice I missed so much, speaking to no one in particular. I got up and walked to the doorway, arriving at the same time as Adriana. I grabbed her and kissed her on the lips, so happy to see her and I knew she felt the same since her eyes sparkled. "Have you been behaving without me?" she said.

"Of course, Miss," I said while casting my eyes to the floor.

"I'll bet," she replied with a smile.

George came to my door saying that my presence has been requested in Abdel's office...if I can tear myself away.

Adriana growled at George and he kissed her cheek with a warm smile. I told her I would catch up with her in a little while and she blew a kiss before walking away. I walked over with George and Abdel gave a broad smile when I entered. "I heard the commotion so I assume that your other half is back in residence," he said.

"Yes, the Queen is in her chamber, my Lord."

"And she used to be so sweet and quiet," he said, "I feel like a failed parent with an errant child."

"But she loves you dearly, so it is worth it, sir."

"Perhaps, Rachelle, perhaps."

The day passed with the usual energy, and I only had a few minutes with Adriana before her meeting with Abdel so my briefing had to be somewhat abbreviated. Suffice it to say that she was not very enthusiastic as the reality of us being apart for an extended period began to be obvious. She did eventually say that she would keep an open mind and listen to what Abdel had to say and we could talk tonight when we were together outside of the office.

Abdel and Adriana were together for about an hour and a half before George came to my office a bit flustered, asking that I come to Abdel's office for a few minutes. I asked if it was safe and he would only say that everyone was still alive when he left although they had been drinking. I asked for a bourbon if it were "possible" and he said it's "advisable" Miss."

As I entered I noticed that Abdel was quiet and Adriana's makeup was a little streaked. "What happened, Abdel?" I said.

"The discussion got a little tense, I'm afraid, Rachelle."

I walked to Adriana, pulled over a chair and placed my arm around her shoulder as I sat down. "Are you okay?" I said.
