A Proposal She Will Never Forget

Leo decided that Katherine was the woman he wanted to be with for the rest of his life. She was his soulmate, his lover, his girl, his friend and someone who he could trust. After some thinking, he decided to propose to her. Leo thought about that perfect spot to ask her that important question, he finally decided to take Katherine to a romantic getaway in the tropics . It was the perfect time to go as it was now the spring season. Since Katherine loved the spring, this would mean the islands flora would be in full bloom. The flowers on the island had a lovely sweet fragrance. The smell waffled though their hotel window and into their room where Leo and Katherine slept in their king size bed, after a wild night of passionate lovemaking. Leo woke up and notice her cuddling next to him, but she was still asleep. He smiled at her as she slept. Katherine was wearing no make up and her hair was cascaded around her frame. To him, she looked so beautiful as she slept. So peaceful. Leo gently stroked her hair gently with his fingers. Katherine woke up to two things; the aroma of the flowers and Leo's gentle touch on her face. She opened her eyes to see him looking down at her with love and affection. She looked into his smiling eyes.

Leo kissed her tenderly and said "Morning princess. Did you sleep well?"

She giggled and replied "oh yes I did sleep very well. I slept like a baby."

Leo chuckled at her reply. He leaned over again to kiss her warm tender lips. They tasted like sweet wine. As he kissed her, he thought of the plans he had made for them that day. Leo broke off the kiss to look at her happy face. He looked at her lovingly. He reached out and stroked her face. She smiled at his touch. Leo thought she was the most beautiful woman in the world. He felt so lucky to have her. He desired to kiss her again. So he leaned to her and they kissed, now with passion. Their tongues danced in each other's mouths as he held her in his strong arms.

After gently breaking off the kiss Leo smiled and said "I will order breakfast and eat outside on the balcony. Then we can explore the grounds. What do you think about that baby?"

Katherine smiled, "Oh yes! i would love that! This place is so beautiful."

He touched her face and said, "No honey, you are the one who is beautiful."

They kissed again, and made passionate love that morning before going out that afternoon to explore the island. They walked to this park, which to her felt remote because there was no other person in sight. In this moment, only they felt like the only people on this island. Beyond the horizon Katherine saw the crystal clear waters. The palm trees swaying in the cool ocean breeze. She then turned to her right where they walked through an arch way of roses. As they walked she came across such a beautiful sight! An white gazebo, surrounded with her favourite flowers. She smiled at it cause this scene was so beautiful. Leo took her hand and they walked inside of the gazebo.

They talked a little before he said with surprise "Oh!! look over there!!"

Katherine looked but didn't see anything. "I don't see anything."

"Then turn around and you will see something shining."

Confused, Katherine turned back to Leo. He was now on one knee, and holding the most gorgeous ring she'd ever seen in her life! She was in shock! Katherine covered her face and started crying. He took her shaking hand, and looked deep into her pretty eyes that were filled with joyful tears.

Leo looked right into her eyes and said, "Baby, from the first moment I saw you I thought you were the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. I thought to myself 'I have to get to know her more." And I'm so glad i did. You complete me in many ways. You inspire me more than you ever know. I love you so much. I am incomplete without you. You are my queen. OK you might not be royal, but to me you are my queen. And as your king I want to spend the rest of my life with you by my side. I am incomplete without you my darling. And so here I am on one knee asking for my girls hand in marriage. Honey, will you do me the honours and be my wife? Let me be your husband."

Tears cascaded down her face as she heard these beautiful words from this man. His words touched her heart in more ways than one.

"Yes! YES! I..I WILL MARRY YOU!" Katherine said between sobs of joy.

Leo smiled with joy. He put the sparking ring on her delicate finger. He then cupped her face and kissed her tears away. He looked deep into her eyes, leaned towards her, and kissed her so passionately. She wrapped her arms around his masculine body. He pulled her down on the blanket where they made out underneath the gazebo.
