Arsena Lupin sat at her vanity, polishing her Baretta. She was somewhat at peace with herself now. Sora had finally come around to allowing her to be close. The only person she wasn't so sure about was Daisuke Jigen, Sora's husband.
Sora, Jigen, and Arsena had formed their own gang, with Sora as their leader. It seemed only right since both Jigen and Arsena were in love with the girl. They would both follow her anywhere.
Jigen had told Sora that he didn't mind if Arsena and Sora were a couple too. He knew that Sora loved him and it was okay if the two girls became close. Sora had taken it to heart and Arsena and Sora became lovers.
But Arsena still wasn't sure about sharing her lady love with Jigen. She didn't really know Jigen as well as she thought she did and it was confusing to her. She knew she should accept what she had and be happy. But jealousy kept her from doing that. Jigen would always have a larger part of Sora than Arsena would.
Arsena was so deep in concentration that she didn't hear her door open or soft footsteps approach her. She wasn't aware of anyone's presence until two large, strong hands settled on her shoulders.
She jumped and looked up into the mirror. The shadowed face of Daisuke Jigen was reflected back at her.
"Dai..." she said, her hand flying to her throat. "You scared me..."
"Sorry," he said, rubbing her shoulders. "You were so far away from this world a moment ago...What were you thinking about, 'Sena?"
Arsena looked up into his face. "Actually...I was thinking about you..."
He looked shocked. "Me? Why me? Shouldn't you be thinking of Sora?"
Arsena sighed and looked away. "She's part of it...To tell you the truth...I'm grateful to you for allowing her and me to be together...but....I feel so selfish..." She lowered her face, shadows covering her features. "I don't want to share her with you....I want her all to myself...I'm a horrible person..."
Suddenly, she was being turned around. Jigen was on his knees on the floor and he looked up into her face. She hadn't realized that she'd been crying until a tear fell and splashed on his coat.
" 'Sena...you're not selfish...And you're not horrible. You want what anyone wants. A person who is for them and only for them. You don't want to have to share...But we're going to have to...Sora can't choose just one and neither of us can live without her," he said, reaching up and wiping her tears away.
Arsena nodded. " I know, Dai...I know...." Her tears welled up again and she tried hard to stifle them, failing miserably.
Jigen wrapped his strong arms around her and pulled her against his chest. She broke down and sobbed hard into his jacket. He ran soothing hands up and down her back and whispered soft words of comfort to her.
After a few minutes, she calmed down and pulled away, sniffling. He reached into the inside pocket of his jacket and took out a blue handkerchief, handing it to her.
She dried her eyes and then looked at him. "Dai...Why did you come here tonight...? You never visit me in my room."
Jigen looked into her emerald eyes. "I came because I felt that you needed to talk to someone. Maybe it wasn't me, but I didn't want to just leave you if you needed someone. And...I don't know. I just wanted to maybe talk to you about this whole situation."
Arsena reached out and took off his fedora. She said, "If we're going to talk...I want to see your eyes."
Jigen blinked a second and then nodded. He raised his dark eyes to her and she was lost in them momentarily. He had seen so much while he was in the Mafia. It was obvious in the blackness of their depths.
She slid off of her chair and sat down on the floor with him. She took his hands in hers and squeezed them gently.
They sat there for a while, unable to speak. Finally, Jigen said, "Well, it's not up to Sora to fix this...You and I have the problem, so we need to work it out. We don't know each other very well anymore. There was a time when we did. But things have changed. So...Maybe it's time for some rediscovering of each other."
Arsena blinked a couple of times before asking, "What kind of rediscovering, Dai?"
She distinctly saw him turn bright red, even in the dark. "Well...um...sexually...If you get what I mean."
Her jaw dropped. "You mean...? Have...sex....with each other...?"
Jigen nodded. "Yeah. We don't know each other as a man and a woman...Just as partners of the trade..."
Arsena blushed and looked down. "But...what if Sora doesn't want anyone else to touch you...? I mean...you ARE her husband, Dai..."
Jigen brought her hand to his lips and kissed it softly. "I'm not saying making a regular habit out of it. I love her very much...She is the number 1 woman in my life. But if we can discover each other in a way...to at least have some kind of an affection for each other...That would make it easier for Sora, wouldn't it? She wouldn't have to worry about us fighting all the time over her...We would understand a part of why we are all a group now..."
Arsena blinked and then blushed again. "W...well...You're right...Really you are. I'm just a little scared...The only men I've ever been with have hurt me...I don't really like to be with men that much."
Jigen suddenly stood up and lifted her into his arms, carrying her to the bed. He set her down and then sat beside her.
" 'Sena, I won't hurt you. I care about you. And I don't think Sora would ever forgive me if I did hurt you. But I won't...I'll be gentle and loving...I couldn't be less with you. I've known you far too long to treat you roughly," he said, brushing a lock of her dark hair away from her cheek.
Arsena bit her lip and then took his hand in hers and held it to her cheek. "Okay, Dai...I trust you..."
Jigen leaned forward and pressed his cool lips to hers. She was a little surprised at first and then relaxed, letting him invade her mouth. He pushed his tongue into her mouth and kissed her hard.
His hands worked down to the front of her nightgown. It was a pale pink negligee that didn't cover a lot. All it took was a quick pull on the ribbon at the top and it slid open, the silky material falling to her sides.
He stared in awe at her silky breasts and the smooth, pale tummy that was uncovered. He moved his hands to her breasts and squeezed them gently. She had a very voluptuous chest and her bosoms were the color of cream.
Arsena moaned softly and shifted her hips a bit. "Dai...I forgot how much you like breasts..." She smiled and reached down, placing a hand on his shoulder.
He chuckled. "Yeah...I'm a breast man...I can't help it." He leaned down and took one of her nipples in his mouth, swirling his tongue around it and sucking on the rose-colored nub softly.
Arsena arched her back, crying out at the sensation. She gripped his arms and bit her lip. "Ah!" she gasped out.
