This story is a work of fiction and fantasy. It would never happen but it makes a nice story.
Once upon a time there were three nurses in a large metropolitan hospital. They worked in the orthopedic ward for special cases where the patient was not able to move around due to their surgical procedure. They could be there for several weeks.
On this particular day the patient, John Smith, underwent surgery on his shoulder that would keep him immobile for about 2 weeks.
While he was being prepared for surgery, the female nurse who was responsible for getting him ready, which included moving him from the gurney to the surgical table, discovered something unusual. The patient was already sedated so he was unaware of anything. As the nurse helped move him, she saw that he had an unusual penis. It was very large. In fact it was large enough that she had never ever seen one that big. She was impressed!
After the surgery on his shoulder, she returned him to his room. When the nurses on the ward came to help her make the move to the bed she whispered to one of them I want to show you something. We can start a football pool so that the rest of interested people (women) can join in the measuring and the winner can view it personally. That is a great idea, Medium said, but let's make it more interesting. Let's charge a dollar to get in the pool. Whoever wins the pool gets whatever is in the pot. That is brilliant, they all three agreed.
By now the head nurse of the hospital had realized that something odd was going on and dispatched her spies to find out what was going on. The report she got was unbelievable. She had to handle this herself.
The head nurse headed down to the ortho ward to get control of the situation. When she got there the staff knew that the football pool was in jeopardy and tried to avoid severe consequences. One of the original 3 nurses, I don't know is it was Small, Medium or Large that in desperation said to the head nurse, If you don't believe us just look for yourself. The head nurse was impressed also. Let me know how this comes out she said and here is my dollar.
The three amigo's, Small, Medium and Large, had to decide how this was going to work. First, they decided that someone was going to have to mark the base line for measuring "it." Eventually, because they could not agree on who was to do it they would get one of the female doctors to conduct a visit to the ward for educational purposes for new nurses. That would allow the doctor, plus the three amigo's and 6 lucky student nurses, the opportunity to verify the marking and measuring. As a gift to the doctor, she would be allowed to do the marking and handle the package. (Where there is a will there is a way.)
The measurement was to be taken in millimeters as befitting the hospital environment.
( 1 millimeter is 0.039 inches or 4 100the of an inch. Get out your ruler and look at that. Precision is important.)
On the day of the measuring, the nurses in the hospital were waiting breathlessly. At exactly 9 AM the doctor hefted the package in her hand, (what she wanted to do at that moment we can only guess ) and commenced to measuring. This proved to be more difficult than anticipated because the package began to grow a little. This eventually had to be corrected by causing the package to be given a painful thump on the head retracting to its original length. Anyway, the measuring revealed a length of 8 and a quarter inches, which is 209.55 millimeters, so there. Everyone agreed that was indeed large. However there were 3 women who had predicted that exact measurement. After, all there were over 300 ladies who had participated in the pool including the head nurse.
So now we have a problem. Who was the winner and who would get the $300?
There was a great discussion about who the lucky person was but no resolution.
One disgruntled person griped, "what difference does it make. It is such a waste, no one could take that monster anyway because by the time it gets hard it will be unbearable."It was later estimated that at the time of the resolution the estimated length was 9.75 inches."
