Cleaning out for anal sex
I love being the bottom in anal sex, but my partner has no interest in tasting, smelling, or eating poop. That would be a complete turn off. So, if I want loving attention down there, my ass needs to be fresh washed and spotless. It's not good enough to be fresh washed on the outside. I need to be clean on the inside as well. When I am submitting myself to my partner, I want to completely let go. I want to completely relax and open up. I will have no control over my sphincter, and I don't want to worry or be self-conscious about what might come out.
I have been exploring this part of my sexuality for about 20 years, and after trying many methods, I am very happy with my current clean out process. Way back then, I started with those drugstore Fleet enema kits. That was a waste of time. Great if you are constipated, but useless if you want a clean out. I then tried a rubber squeeze bottle. This was a little better, but a useful clean out required multiple fills of the bottle, which was slow, cumbersome, and dirty.
I then graduated to a hanging enema water bottle or bag. This was a great improvement and was my primary method for, easily, ten years. However, it had its limitations. The greatest limitation was that I could not always trust the mount that would hold the bag up. There is nothing more frustrating and mood killing than the enema bag coming loose and spilling a liter of water all over the floor or all over you. Then there is the problem of finding a suitable mounting point near the toilet, and whether the hose is long enough. And finally, you always need a little more water and must stop and refill the bag.
Another problem with both the squeeze bottle and enema bag is that they both typically have a small, pointed plastic nozzle for insertion in your ass. It was very common for me, about one out of ten times, to poke myself in my anus with this hard plastic nozzle. If you inserted too fast, or at the wrong angle, you could scratch or irritate the anus. There was nothing more disappointing that scratching myself in the ass one hour before playtime and adding some undesired pain to my submission. Take care of your ass and it will reward you!
About five years ago, I made the big switch and purchased an anal shower attachment, and it is the best decision I ever made for anal play. Several vendors offer these. The one I recommend is a long soft rubber insertable with a single hole in the end for water spray. Mine is about 32 cm (12 inches) long, but I don't insert that length. It's just convenient to have the flexibility of the hose. I don't find that it is actually useful or necessary to insert all that hose to actually achieve a good cleaning. Plus, once you get that whole length slippery with lube, it becomes really difficulty to hold.
This rubber insert attaches to the standard European shower hose, common both in residences and hotels. In North America, you will likely need to purchase a diverter valve and shower hose, and good luck using it at hotels. I recommend water temperature at room temperature or cooler. No need to burn your ass! Put a little Vaseline or lube on the tip to help with insertion, about 5 cm. Rule of thumb: the water pressure should not be more than you are willing to drink from. If the water force is OK in your mouth, it should be OK in your ass.
Plan two hours for a deep cleanout. You can complete most of it in one hour, but you need to allow some time for the water trapped in your colon to find its way out. Use that second hour to do other preparation: brush your teeth, shave, get the music and room ready, take a shower, put on some cologne, etc.
