The Retreat
Chapter 6
Sara woke feeling rested and energetic. She was alone when she woke up, but it didn't bother her as much as she thought it would. She went to the bathroom, vaguely wondering where Gail was, and began preparing for the day. Her image reflecting in the mirror wasn't as haggard as it was yesterday. She still looked a bit tired, but she did just wake up after all. She made a goofy face, crossing her eyes and sticking out her tongue, and laughed at the silliness of it all. She certainly FELT better, and that was a good thing.
After she had cleaned up and gotten dressed, well, wrapped herself in a bathrobe, she wondered what to do about breakfast. And coffee. Should she call up room service again?
No
, she shook her head.
She decided it was time to get out of her room for a bit. She opened the door to the hallway and stepped out. Somehow doing that made her feel like she was on an adventure. She was on her own and had a huge mansion to explore. But her stomach reminded her that she was hungry. She looked down the hall one way, then the other.
Where was that Cafe?
She thought, looking up and down the hall.
Well, I suppose one direction is as good as another
she shrugged and set off to the right. She hadn't gone far when she encountered one of the serving staff.
"Excuse me. Can you please point me in the direction of the Cafe? I seem to be lost," she said, stopping an older man walking by with a pile of towels in his arms.
"Allow me to show you the way, Ma'am. Right this way, if you please." He said in a good-natured tone, bobbing his head as he spoke. He turned around and jerked his head to indicate that she should follow. As they walked, the man began to make small talk, clearly in an attempt to make Sara feel at ease.
"I haven't seen you around before, you must be new here. My name is Duncan," he said.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Sara," Sara replied and offered her hand.
Duncan looked at her with an amused expression. It took her a moment to understand, and she blushed in embarrassment. Duncan just winked at her and continued.
"It's always good to see new faces around here. Far too few of them these days," he said, shaking his head sadly.
"Not like the old days. Every room here was filled. The House was near to bursting with people coming and going. No Ma'am, not like the old days at all. But Mistress Leah, now. She's been turning this place around. Working hard on recruiting I hear. Yes, Ma'am. Mistress Leah, She'll fix this place right up. Return the ol' place to its former glory. Yes, Ma'am..."
Duncan barely stopped talking. Sara was content to listen and be led to the Cafe. Duncan has been working here for 53 years. His parents, and their parents before them as well. He was the third generation, and likely his children (of which he had 3, two boys and a girl) would work here as well, or so he hoped. He had a fondness for this place and seemed to have a special fondness for Leah as well. And so they walked, Duncan rambling on and Sara listening. Soon they arrived at their destination.
"Here we are, Ma'am. The Cafe," Duncan announced, taking a small bow with his arms still full of towels. It was so comical, that Sara had to hold back a laugh. Instead, she replied in mock severity.
"Thank you for your service my good sir," she said with a small bow.
When she was upright again, she grinned and gave him a quick peck on the cheek. Duncan's wide grin seemed to split his face in two.
"Thank you, Ma'am. It is my pleasure! Thank you!" he beamed.
When he returned back the way they had come, Sara noticed a definite bounce to his step. She shook her head, and let out a chuckle at the adorable little man, then stepped into the Cafe.
The enticing smells of food hit her nostrils and reminded her that she was hungry. She glanced around and found a Buffet had been laid out along one of the walls. She made a beeline for it and grabbed a plate. Chafing dishes with eggs, bacon, ham, sausages, pancakes, waffles, and more. Platters with fruits, vegetables, cereals, pastries, etc. Everything anyone could want for a nice breakfast was neatly laid out. Sara made her way down the line, eyeing everything before settling on some bacon, scrambled eggs, and some toast.
She turned around and picked out a nearby table. Not that there wasn't plenty of seating available. Most of the tables were empty. A few scattered people sat, mostly alone with their thoughts and their breakfast. On each of the tables sat a small pitcher of orange juice, another of milk, and a carafe of Coffee. Sara settled herself down, pouring herself a cup of coffee before starting into her breakfast. She didn't get too far into it though, when she noticed Carl enter the room. He seemed to have spotted her right away and headed straight for her.
"Good morning!" he said brightly as he drew close,
"Sara wasn't it? May I?" he gestured to a chair and sat down before Sara could respond.
He looked young, maybe early 20's. His dark shaggy hair had the carefully sculpted look of having just jumped out of bed. His blue eyes sparkled as if he saw something funny no one else did.
He is cute.
N
ot exactly my type though
Sara thought, eyeing him as he sat.
"How's it going?" he asked once he was seated,
"What do you think of the place so far?"
"I'm still getting used to things though. So far it's been great though. Everyone has been super nice, and I think I can be comfortable here," Sara replied.
"Good! Glad to hear it! Look, some of us are going to watch a movie later. You are free to come join us if you'd like, " he said,
"Might be good to meet some new people and make some friends. Makes things a little easier to deal with, if you know what I mean. It can get a little much sometimes."
"Thank you. I think I would like that," Sara smiled.
"Great! Five-thirty tonight, in the Theater," he said standing up.
"Oh, and here," he pulled out a folded sheet of paper and pushed it at her.
"It's a map. You'll probably need it for the first few weeks. My Handler had it made for me when I first got here. I don't have a head for directions," he laughed.
"I'll let you finish your breakfast. See you later!"
Sara grinned as she watched him walk away.
He certainly has a nice ass though
she mused and tucked the map into the pocket of her robe before resuming her breakfast.
Thanks to the map she was able to return to her room without much issue. She noticed an envelope on the desk as she entered. Frowning slightly, she picked it up and examined it.
Sara
was written on the front with an elegant hand. She quickly opened it, and removed the folded letter inside.
Sara,
Your clothes have been finished and have been put away inside the wardrobe. I'm sorry I wasn't able to be here when you woke. I figured you went to breakfast at the Cafe. I will stop by sometime this afternoon to check in on you. If you need anything, don't hesitate to call. I'm number 3 on the phone.
P.S. I took the liberty of picking out an assortment of toys for you. They can be found in the case under the bed. Have fun ;)
- Gail
Sara chuckled as she set the letter back on the desk, Gail certainly was a sweetheart. She put down the letter and opened the wardrobe. As comfortable as the bathrobe was, she wanted to wear some real clothes for a change. Inside she found a large collection of dresses, gowns, nighties, swimsuits, and more. Formal gowns in several colors and styles, silk by the feel of them. Fancy ballroom dresses, cute sexy little teddies. She even found several pairs of leggings, baggy sweatpants, jeans, and plain simple t-shirts. Everything she would ever need, for any occasion.
She settled on a pair of gray leggings and a simple black t-shirt. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. Everything fit her perfectly. Even the bra was exactly the right cup size. She couldn't remember when she last felt this comfortable. She admired herself in the mirror set inside the door and decided she looked super cute. She felt cute too.
As she was checking herself out, she heard a knock on the door. She turned as it opened and was surprised to see Leah enter. She half expected Gail, but certainly not the woman who started this whole thing.
"Good morning! I see that your clothes have been finished. Julie does know her work. Everything is satisfactory I presume?" Leah asked.
"Leah! Yes, everything is wonderful! Thank you. Please come in, and have a seat," Sara said and gestured toward the table.
"What's up? Got a new job for me?" she said, half jokingly.
She kinda wanted another assignment. Especially since she remembered the last one, and felt her face heat up as she did.
Leah's laugh was musical as she sat down,
"Yes I do have a job for you, but it's not until later tonight. Gail will fill you in. But that's not why I came. I wanted to check up on you and see how you were holding up so far," she said.
"Oh, I'm doing great!" Sara exclaimed happily as she sat down.
"Everyone has been so wonderful. Gail especially has been an absolute gem."
"Wonderful! We do our very best to try to match our Contractors with our Handlers. I trust she has been helping you through any of the negative side effects of your last session?" she asked, with genuine concern in her voice.
"Oh yes! I feel like I can trust her completely. She really has been great," Sara said, her face heating again as she remembered just HOW great.
"I think we are going to be dear friends before too much longer."
"I suspected as much," Leah grinned, a knowing look in her eye.
"She's a special one for sure. I know we didn't have too much time last time we talked. Was there anything you needed from me? Anything I can do to help make your transition easier?"
"Well... I wouldn't mind having a couch and maybe some chairs... I seem to have more guests than I thought I would as a sex slave" Sara said with a laugh.
