CHAPTER 12
Swan lay on the couch with her feet in Master Sean's lap. Swan was reading, and Master Sean was doing his best to distract her with a foot massage that occasionally involved tickling the bottoms of her feet. Master Tristan sat across from them reading email on his phone.
"Quit it," Swan said with a smile. "I'm trying to read!"
"How can you focus on that book when my face is over here. Didn't you once say it was the most beautiful face in the world?"
Swan laughed, "I said no such thing! I would never. Your head would get so big you wouldn't fit through doorways."
"But you thought it," Master Sean said with a tone full of promise. Swan squeezed the top of her legs together as her imagination took wing but kept her eyes on her book just to frustrate her master. Master Sean pushed Swan's feet under him as he got up and crawled up the couch, his body hovering over hers. He stuck his head between her hands and under her book so that she was now looking at him with her arms around his neck. He grinned devilishly and lightly bit her nipples through her tank top. Swan groaned, losing her grip on her book it tumbled to the floor. She pushed her chest higher begging for more with a light moan.
After a few more nips, Hudson interrupted Swan's fun by entering the apartment, "I have today's mail."
Master Sean got up to intercept Hudson while Swan coughed indignantly that he left her so rudely. He grinned at her from across the room, knowing exactly the state he left her in. She huffed in frustration, got up and gently threw herself into Master Tristan's lap. He set his phone beside them and wrapped his arms around Swan.
"Did Sean make you moan and then leave you?" he asked teasingly.
Swan pushed her bottom lip out as far as it would go, scrunched her brows together into her best sad face and nodded pathetically.
"Why don't I pick up where he left off?" he said as he leaned down to kiss her neck. Swan leaned her head back to give him access and sighed with pleasure.
"Hey!" Master Sean shouted from across the room. "Guess who we got a letter from? Like an old fashion, hand-written letter!"
Master Tristan laughed and pulled away from Swan who groaned in frustration and thought about rolling onto the floor to throw a tantrum. "My guess is Kent. He's the only person I know who even writes letters still. He might be the only person on this planet who still writes letters."
Master Sean laughed, "Yup! It's from Kent." He continued reading the letter and giving updates, "He's doing good... has a new estate near the Scottland border... wants us to come visit... oh! And he's coming to visit us!"
"Really?" Master Tristan said with surprise.
Swan had realized her moment had passed and got up to get a drink. "Who is... Master? Kent?" she asked, not sure if she was using the right title.
Master Sean nodded in confirmation, "He's a very dear friend of ours from school. Your masters went to a very stuffy boarding school in England. Tristan was a year ahead of me, and Kent was in my class. Tristan and I were already close friends, but Kent fell in with us easily. He was our third Musketeer."
"When is he coming? For how long?" Master Tristan asked.
"Sounds like next week, but just for a long weekend. Hey! His birthday is that weekend," Master Sean remembered.
"Why don't we throw him a party," Swan suggested. "He sounds like an important friend, and I can't wait to meet him. We can't ignore his birthday then."
Master Tristan wrapped his arms around Swan from behind and kissed her cheek, "That is a great idea."
"Ooo, I have an idea too," Master Sean said excitedly. "Why don't we do a theme change with the birds for his party?"
Master Tristan chuckled lowly, "Now that would be fun for Kent."
Swan looked at them both with confusion, "Theme change? Like we won't be birds for the party?"
Master Sean answered, "Kent doesn't keep as many girls as we do, but he has a few. His girls aren't birds, though. He picked a different theme."
"Oh" Swan said. "What are his girls called then?"
Master Tristan answered her from behind, "Foxes."

Swan stood between Master Tristan and Master Sean just inside the main entrance. Master Kent's limo pulled up and stewards began unloading the vehicle, one opening the door for Master Kent. He stepped out and spotted the trio inside, "Tristan! Sean!"
Master Kent dashed through the entrance and gave Master Sean a hug, the two of them slapping each other on the back. He eyed her between them, his face full of mischief, "I'll get to you in a moment!" and hugged Master Tristan in the same way. Swan got the feeling Master Kent's personality was closer to Master Sean's than her stoic Master Tristan.
Master Kent was tall, about the same height as Master Tristan. But where Master Tristan was dark haired and dark eyed, and Master Sean light with almost blonde hair and light eyes, Master Kent was their medium. His chocolate brown eyes and matching hair framed a strong jaw and a long nose.
He stepped back from her masters saying, "It's so good to see you two." Swan thought she heard some emotion behind his words. Maybe it was hard for Master Kent to live so far away from his closest friends. "Now, Swan. Let me get a look at you." He put his hands on her shoulders and gently turned her around to look her up and down. "It turns out that my friends are not hallucinating. You are, indeed, as beautiful as they described. They talk of nothing else any time I can get them on the phone."
Swan blushed, her heart soaring to hear how her masters talk about her when they were not together. She never doubted them, but it was nice to hear. "I'm delighted to meet you," she said, wondering if she should hug him or shake his hand.
Master Kent looked to her masters, "May I?" Smiling, Master Sean nodded quickly. Master Kent wrapped an arm around her waist and his other arm around her shoulders, suddenly tipping Swan to the side. She gasped in surprise, and he pressed his lips to hers taking advantage of her open lips to slip his tongue just inside her mouth. She felt him exploring her in the kiss, testing her. His lips were gentle but teasing. Swan felt a promise of more behind the kiss, desire and pleasure dangled before her. Part of her tightened and melted simultaneously. Swan reached her arms around his neck and pushed into the kiss as if she could unlock the promise with her lips.
He broke the kiss sooner than Swan was ready for, a mew of protest escaping her. He pulled back just enough to look into her eyes, again exploring her, testing her. Swan saw more of that promise in his eyes: a twinkle promising enjoyment and pleasure. Master Kent finally lifted her, and Swan was grateful he kept his arms around her until she found her feet. She felt lightheaded and needed a moment to steady herself.
He finally let Swan go and said to his friends, "You are two lucky bastards."

They sat in the apartment visiting while Master Kent waited for the staff to have his guest suite set up. Swan quietly observed them, catching up on social circles, asking about updates on business ventures, and teasing each other with jokes that were obviously very old and very inside their trio. It would have been easy for Swan to feel like an outsider, but Master Kent made sure his conversation was directed toward Swan. She didn't chime in with much, but she felt included. It endeared her to Master Kent.
Hudson came in to let them know Master Kent's suite was ready and to give Master Sean a message. Master Sean groaned to Master Kent, "Blast it. We had a merger this weekend that we'd hoped would smoothly take care of itself, but it's not. Tristan, we need to get into the city tomorrow to take care of this."
Master Tristan, with Swan sitting in his lap, suggested, "If we must be out tomorrow, then it's perfect timing for Kent and Swan to spend the day together. If you both would like that."
"I would love to have Master Kent all to myself," Swan said.
"Then it's a date," Master Kent replied

Swan woke up the next morning and rolled over in bed. She noticed she didn't roll over onto either of her masters and felt blindly around the bed for one of them. Finding only empty bed sheets, she cracked her eyes open and sat up. Both Master Tristan and Master Sean were already showered and getting dressed. She scrunched her eyebrows together, pouting a bit that they were leaving her so early.
Master Sean gasped, "Look at that sad face!" He sat beside her in bed but continued buttoning up his shirt. "If you're not careful, it'll stick that way." He kissed her on the forehead and got up to grab his suit jacket. "Remember, you get Master Kent all day today."
Swan smiled at that. She was excited to get to know her masters' friend. "I just can't wait to see if he has any naughty stories about you from school."
Master Tristan uncharacteristically guffawed, "Kent has plenty of those. We were constantly up to something."
Swan got up and opened the wardrobe where her clothes were, "What should I wear for Master Kent?"
"Whatever you want to wear, Swan," Master Sean said absently.
"No," she lightly whined. "I want to impress him. He's your friend. I want him to like me."
"If you hadn't noticed from that kiss yesterday, but he obviously likes you."
Swan smiled but huffed. Master Sean wasn't giving her anything to work with. She finally just picked a white circle skirt with matching crop top. She kissed her masters goodbye and went to shower. By the time she was out of the shower, they had gone. Swan dressed and grabbed quick breakfast. She had just sat down with some coffee when Master Kent entered the apartment.
