Chapter Five

Sam awoke early Monday morning. HIs mind focused on the agenda for the day. Getting Già set up into her office, her system set up with the appropriate credentials to start on her tasks. He drove to the gym the two guys had recommended, realizing it was in fact very close to the University. Sam checked in and signed into a membership not having seen the equipment, the young woman had sold him on what the gym could offer him with her words alone. She gazed at how buff he was looking him up and down. She gave him three months free as a trial and walked him around to get familiar with where the lockers, showers and workout areas were.

Classes were available to sign up for if he chose to do yoga or other body toning workouts. He asked if she attended the college, she assured him she did and had plenty of her friends already signed up. Before letting him change and do his first workout, she had looked at him, unashamed and confident, "I see you are not married, you'll do very well here, Sir." She turned, giggled and walked her way back to the front desk.

Sam took his bag into the lockers to change, the girl's words running into his mind, 'Not Married'. Yeah, he was single again and feeling free. Sam was a 6" 3" man, olive skin, making him look constantly tanned. His bearded face was always trimmed close, like his dark hair on his head, full and showing no sign of balding. His dark, brown eyes, always made women blink as if he was a vampire mesmerizing them into his will. If and when he smiled, his broad teeth would shine through his bearded lips. 'Single and needing someone, that is for sure, and perhaps why I am here...", he thought to himself as he walked into the weight room, focusing today on his arms.

He found a bench, adjusted the bar to hold 200 lbs on each side. He sat to his back from those weights, looking across the room at the early arrivals situating themselves. A young, slender girl in a yellow top and yoga shorts, worked her arms with light weights, eyes had darted over to him. He took note of her, laid back, gripped the bar, gritted his teeth, legs spread wide while his feet planted firmly. He huffed, the bar lifting slowly, the burn immediate in his arms, down to his thick neck, pecs bulged down to his pack of abs.

He worked that bar up and down ten times, panting while the young woman gasped in his direction, seeing the lack of a jock-strap, revealing his limp, yet dangling cock between his thighs, peeking out his short leg. If he had read her thoughts, seeing her wide eyes and dropped jaw, it would read, 'Holy fuck, that man has a monster between his legs!'

The young woman put her weights down, walked to his bench, hoisted the bar up with him and guided it back to the rungs to set it back in place. Her firm, round breasts before his eyes. Sam looked at her, smiled, "Hey, thanks, you did not have to do that, you know?"

"Yes I did, actually, I am a personal trainer here and you, sir, are handling way too much weight for your first visit here. Jenn, at your service." She thrust out her hand, a beam of a smile on her lips, her pony-tailed hair dangling over her left breast.

Sam sat up on the bench, his arms ripped revealing the strain in his muscles, yet his hand folding into hers was gentle. "Pleasure to meet you, Jenn, I am..."

"Sam, I know," she giggled towards him spinning around the weights on the bar and set her little ass down on his lap. "Now, you are going to have to let me sign you up for my personal massages after such a workout, Sam. I will not take no for an answer." She leaned into his ear, a soft whisper so only he could hear, "I also see you are packing, Sam, mind if I get you a jock strap to handle that... errr... you know? I don't want the gym to get reports of any lewd appearances of any of our, ummm, 'members'." She stood, wrapped her hands around each bulged out arm, swiftly kissed his nose and walked back to where she was.

Sam sat there bewildered by what he just experienced. Never before has anyone been that straight forward to him, never a girl that gorgeous and fit, never a woman that confident in her ability to control a man. He stood, walked back to where Jenn was, "Noted," he whispered to her, "where do I..."

"It's on the wall by the door, my number, that is, feel free to use it.... Anytime." She purred that last part out keeping her blue eyes on his gaze.

All Sam could do at that point was go run this off on a treadmill, making sure he saw where those names and numbers were posted. He jogged ten miles, wiped his brow, walked by the wall, noted the number and left to shower, change and get ready for work. 'A successful first day at the gym", Sam thought to himself as he laughed at himself for being told to wear something similar he had also told Già to. Instead, he told himself, he would just find a bench that was not facing anyone's eyes next time. He refused to wear a jock strap, just not his thing.

Monday morning Già sighed and shoved the tail of her blouse into the waistband of her skirt. Sleep had eluded her last night. After signing the NDA her head spun with thoughts of the prison life she was surely facing if she got caught. Mr. Brighton did not seem like the forgiving kind. She shivered. Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on her door. Lily walked in with a glass of gray slop in her outstretched hand.

"Here Love, I made you a Happy First Day at Work Smoothie."

"Uh, no thank you", Già swung her leg out keeping a distance between them. "That looks disgusting." Già eyed the glass wearily. She had flashbacks of her last episode with a smoothie.

Lily pulled the glass into her chest. "Yeah I know, but it still tastes good. " Lily raised the glass to her lips and took a sip.

Già wrinkled her nose, it certainly didn't smell good, she shook her head, and walked past Lily into the living room where she had left the papers and his gift. The papers were nearly stacked over the Claussen box, easy to swoop it all up and shove it in her leather bag. She hadn't known Lily had followed her out until Lily spoke.

"So uh, did you change your mind about keeping it?"

"NO," Già stated, grabbing the stack of papers off the table.

"So, what? You're just going to wear it until you get to work?"

Già turned to Lily. "Huh?" She didn't really have time for Lily's games right now. "What are you talking about?"

Lily took another sip of her drink and pointed to Già's neck. She lowered the glass, a huge smile on her lips. "I think you forgot something, Luv," she winked.

Già lifted her hand to her neck, her fingers fell over the delicate chain and charm. Well fuck, She had forgotten she was still wearing it. She frowned. "Help me get this off," she spun around and lifted her hair off her neck. "PLEASE," she pleaded. Lily obliged, the necklace spilled into Già's cupped hand.

"Are you sure about this Luv?" Lily whispered behind Già. Già nodded although she was screaming 'no' inside. Lily put down her glass and helped Già arrange the necklace in the box, she giggled as her fingertips caressed the rich burgundy satin overlay.

Già had no idea what Lily found so funny about this situation. "Care to share?" She asked her BFF.

Lily placed the lid and handed the box to Gia. Her blue eyes twinkled, "it smells like you". She burst out laughing at the horrified look on Già's face. "Something to remind him of you."

Già grabbed the box and shoved it in her bag. she felt the heat in her cheeks rising. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. 'Please just let me get through today.' When she opened her eyes, Lily's blue ones were staring back at her. Lily hugged Gia, turned and walked back towards the kitchen still laughing.

Sam always made it a rule to be the first to arrive and the last to leave work, his mind always in control. His first visit was to Security to check in and be assured there were no issues over the weekend. He took the walk to his office, the silence breaking with each step he took. He scanned his card to his door to unlock it and entered, set his bag down and the lack of coffee smells reminded him he really should consider hiring an executive assistant. Patricia had offered to fulfill this role until one was hired but he had told her to focus on being the office manager instead and despite her pouting lips, she had nodded and accepted his recommendation.

His visually aware mind saw Jenn dressed up in office attire bouncing into his office with a fresh cup, that jovial smile on her lips with her long, blonde hair draped over her shoulder and firm breast. Shaking this off and went back out to make his own coffee before settling into his chair and sipping the hot fluid into his lips.

He called Patricia's number and left her a voicemail to be sure she got the paperwork from Già and to bring them to him first thing. He pulled out his cell phone and entered Jenn's number he had in memory into his contacts and considered sending her a text. Instead he pulled up Già's number and entered a simple, "Good morning, Già", then went ahead and sent Jenn a text next, "I'd like a regular time set up with you for those sessions, what times are available for me to consider? This is Absent Jock Strap Guy, by the way."

He slid his phone aside, woke up his computer and brought his calendar up to see what he had scheduled for the day. Email was next and went through his internal mail and sent corporate an update of last week's progress. They were slightly behind schedule but now that he had his logistics person hired he could make up time once she focused on her tasks, assuring them by the end of next week, they should be far ahead of schedule.

Before Sam could focus on his agenda for the morning meeting, his phone buzzed, "Jenn here, lol, funny guy... why don't we do one after your morning routine and one in the evening, say around 6 pm before you eat dinner?"

He let that response go for now, flipping his phone back over onto the desk and started working on his agenda, 'two personal massages per day... what was she up to?' He felt the stirring in his pants and looked down, 'hey now, for all we know right now she is a big tease and a lesbian, down boy!'

Già managed to make it to the office with time to spare, she hoped to see him before her day started so she could return the box to him. She still didn't know what she was going to say to him. She really hoped things wouldn't be awkward between them. Her heels clicked over the long hallway towards his office. His door loomed in front of her, she was almost there. She reached into the bag slung over her shoulder, the papers rustled under her fingertips. She could feel the imaginary weight begin to slip from her shoulders.

She was almost at the hallway to Sam's office when Patricia's tall form darkened her path, "I can take those for you." Her hand held forward waiting on Già to hand over the new-hire paperwork.

"Uh, no, that's okay. But thanks." Già tightened her grip on the papers as if Patricia might yank them out of her grasp.

Patricia looked down at Gia, She snapped her fingers, stretched her hand out. "I'll make sure they get to Sa.. Mr. Brighton."

Già raised her brows and focused on Patricia's face. 'So, they are on familiar terms' Già clutched her bag to her chest. "No, thanks Patricia, I'm going to turn them in myself." She leaned in and whispered, "besides there's something personal I need to discuss with him". Già smiled at the way Patricia's lips drew up into a straight line. Patricia nodded and smiled back, but Gia wasn't fooled. She had pissed her off.

She didn't know why she was baiting the woman. If he and Patricia did have something going on, it was nothing to her. Then why did the thought of them together rile her so much? Patricia stepped to the side and walked away. Già sighed, she really couldn't afford to make enemies, this job would be easier without them. Maybe she'd bring her chocolates or something tomorrow.

Già made the turn into the hallway, walked to his door, raised her hand to knock but stopped herself mid knock. 'Come on girl, you can do this,' she chided herself. She gave the door a hard knock before she could change her mind. "Come in" his deep voice called from inside.

Whoever he was expecting, it wasn't her. He looked up, he seemed puzzled as if he didn't remember who she was. Già stopped, a lump rose in her throat. Her feet felt glued to the floor. He stood up and walked around his desk, his brown eyes glanced at her neck, unconsciously she reached up touching the spot the necklace had rested just above her breasts. She thought she saw a hint of a smile on his lips but it was gone in an instant. She lowered her hand and reached her shaking hand into the bag, her fingertips brushed over the Claussen box and she felt the heat rise in her cheeks. "I uh," she stammered, her cheeks growing pinker, her stomach coiled tight, and her pussy quivered. He said nothing, just stood there and looked at her. He crossed his arms over his chest. Her heart thumped harder, she gasped sucking in air although it felt like there was none in the room.

He cocked a brow and stretched out his hand. "Yes?" Già knew she had to hand him the papers but right now she could not make her feet or arms work. She took a step forward and her foot felt like lead. She stumbled the rest of the distance willing herself not to fall. She clasped the folder in her hand, he reached out to take it but her fingers wouldn't release it. What is wrong with me? He tugged at the folder, her cheeks were burning now, probably as red as her hair. She watched in horror as he pulled the file from her grasp and lifted it to his nose. Oh my God, can the floor please just open and swallow me now, she prayed. He smiled and offered her a seat.

Sam had expected Patricia to enter his office and was prepared to have a discussion on Già's tasks to get her up to speed. Instead he found Già entering his office, she fumbled a folder out from her leather bag and handed it to him, a scent wafted into his nostrils as he took it and pulled it away from her clenched fingers. A scent he knew all too well, but revealed only a smile and asked Già to take a seat, placing the folder in front of him, opening it to turn page after page to find her signature in each one. Finally he spoke, looking directly at her, "Good morning, Già, would coffee or water suffice?" He aimed his sights on her neck and seeing the lack of the necklace he started to wonder if she had received the gift or had chosen not to wear it. The scent of her sex kept permeating his nose and was causing a reaction nicely hidden by his spacious desk.

"Water...please", she managed to eke out. She slid her bag off her shoulder letting it thump to the floor, she winced remembering the valuable gift inside. Neither of them mentioned the necklace although she had already given herself away earlier. Her eyes darted to her bag. A black corner delicately outlined in burgundy peeked out. She knew he couldn't see it from his desk. She looked up again to find his eyes on her neck, this time she clasped her hands in her lap. She sat up straight, her heels and knees pressed tight together. Her phone buzzed in her bag, a reminder of why she was really here, she stiffened and kept her eyes on him. Her phone buzzed a second and third time, this time drawing his attention to her bag. She frowned, bit down on her bottom lip, and looked down at her bag again.

"Do you need to get that?" He sounded amused, if not just slightly annoyed.

"No," she answered, "it can wait." Her phone buzzed again, her frown deepened. 'Shit! Just give me a few more minutes!' She chastised herself for not putting her phone on silent. She knew who was sending those messages, she would have to answer them.

Già reached down, tugged at the corner of the box pulling it from her bag. She placed it on her lap, not willing to look at him just yet. She stood with the box in her hands. without looking at him she set it in front of him. "Sir, I.. thank...".He folded his hands over hers, sending her heart slamming into her ribcage, her breath caught in her throat. She looked up into his heated gaze.

Sam saw the box slide out of her bag in her shaking hand, sliding it on the desk towards him, he instantly put his palm over hers and looked sternly at her, "Già, that is not a gift to return, or expect me to offer to anyone else but you. If you read the inscription on the back, you'll see your name is written there, it is yours, even if you need time to consider when you wear it, I just know you will, sooner or later, it will be worn with a commitment knowing it came from me." He pushed her hand back across the desk, leaving it there while he turned to the mini-fridge behind him, opened it, swooped out a water bottle and opened the lid, just enough for her to know it was easier to remove.

Sam stood, placed the bottle down next to her shaking hand. "Now let's get onto business, shall we? Patricia is setting up your accounts and access privileges. Your task today is to meet with each executive and get up to speed on what they need from you. There are eight additional staff members, ten including you and I, you will need to get on top of what their logistical needs are before the end of next week. Friday's are our meeting days for you and I to go over what was accomplished and where you need help the most. Our group meeting is after lunch today at 2 PM, be on time and be prepared to introduce yourself to the team."

While he talked his eyes took in hers, taking note of the way her makeup looked, the way he wanted that makeup to drip from her face while he did those things his needs called for. He was going to have her calling him 'Daddy' soon enough each time they met in private. He will be calling her Baby Girl soon, he just knew she was the one.

Già sat back in the chair. She pulled her hand away leaving his gift on his desk. She wasn't sure how to process what he had said. She had worn that necklace, how had she missed her name? Her green eyes stared down at the box. She wanted to open that box and see if her name really was on it. Instead she reached for the water bottle he'd set in front of her. Twisted off the top and took a big gulp. She felt the cold water slip down her throat. It wasn't doing much to cool her, she pulled at the collar of her blouse. The bottle balanced on her knee. She could feel her nipples hardening, she lowered her hand over her stomach trying to calm the butterflies thrashing there.

He had moved on to his expectations for the day and for her position in this company. His voice was calm and controlled, as if he hadn't just told her she was going to be wearing that necklace for him. She nodded as if she knew what he was saying but she was finding it difficult to focus. She almost laughed, she bit harder on her lips keeping back the nervous laughter threatening to burst from her. Images of him flooded her head, his bulge under the glass table, his hand over hers. She took another long sip " Um, Sir? What exactly are your expectations?" She looked up at him, her brows raised. She bit her lower lip. Looked down at his gift then back at him.

"Già? Are you not listening to me?" Sam cradled his hands towards his lips staring at her as he asked this question. She was distracted by this gift, perhaps it was too soon, but he did not care at this moment, he was going to proceed as he wished.

"I'm not talking about work." Già inhaled and bit into her bottom lip. "I will meet with each staff member to determine where the supply chains are weakest, I will coordinate with our suppliers to bring in the materials we need on time and in the right amounts, I got that."

Sam sat back into his chair, elbows on the arms, tenting his fingers against each other, looking at her sternly, aware she wanted to discuss something else other than work right now. She was now hesitant to return the necklace, finding the situation tensing her and he knew all too well she was having second thoughts. His lips slid into a smile as he gave her a dark look from his eyes, "Let's talk about it then, shall we, Già?" He rocked back into his chair and waited for her to spit out what was giving her such consternation.
