Master brown left the slave to rot in a doghouse while he sipped his Chivas Regal 18-year-old Single Malt, listening to music. Vijay tried adjusting his long slender body inside the small doghouse and ended up realising that it was of no use. With time, it became tough for him to manage in the constrained space. His muscles started aching. He was profusely sweating as there was not enough ventilation. For a moment, the slave thought of shouting for help and begging for mercy. His self-respect didn't allow him to do so. Vijay tried his best to keep his body wrapped inside the doghouse and waited with batted breath for the master.
It was pitch dark. The slave would have spent at least two hours when he heard footsteps. As soon as Master brown opened the Doghouse, Vijay came out and kissed his feet as a sign of obeisance. The Master attached a leash to his collar and dragged him to the living room. Master asked the slave to be on his knees. As an obedient slave, Vijay knelt as instructed with hands folded to his back with his eyes looking down.
"You have impressed me with your obedience. Of course, you need a lot of training and behavior modification to suit my needs and standards," Master Brown told the slave in a commanding voice.
The Slave wanted to respond. He controlled his temptation and remained silent with his gaze down.
"I have decided to take you as my slave. You will be kept on probation for six months before I decide to keep you permanently. In these six months, you will be trained rigorously. You are allowed to walk outside of this door anytime you wish. That will gain you nothing, but my mistrust and you will never be allowed to serve me. Just nod if you accept to be my slave under probation," Master Brown quipped slave for his answer.
Vijay nodded nervously not knowing what the future had to offer. His only hope then was that he could walk away anytime, a decision he would dare not take.
"Your professional time starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 6:00 PM. I won't demand anything, and you can carry out your work. Ensure you manage your work properly so that it won't interfere with my schedule," Slave remained in his posture and listened obediently.
"I don't want to hear any excuses that your work had impacted your performance. You should be smart enough to draw the boundary between your career and personal life. Any second before 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM belongs to me and I don't appreciate it being spent on activities that don't add any value to me," Master ordered very clearly.
The only thing that bothered Vijay with his earlier encounters was the ability of the Masters to draw a clear line between the personal and professional. Almost every Master he had met earlier wanted him to serve at the cost of his professional career. Vijay's respect towards his master grew tremendously as he respected his professional career and was gracious enough to draw the line.
"Your day starts at 4:00 AM. You complete your morning routine in 30 mins," he continued.
