Jack had had a really happy upbringing, and was even happier now that he was living in a student hostel. He was concerned about what he would do in the future, though, as he wasn't happy making decisions or looking after himself. The one thing he loved was dogs, and went for walks in the park to be able to interact with them. He saw how happy they all were.
Jack was eighteen and in his last year at Sixth Form College. He was a bit of a loner, unable to make friends easily, and wasn't particularly looking forward to going to Uni.
A while ago, he had had a discussion with his form teacher, Miss Connor, to work out what he would want to do if he went to university. During the discussion, Jack said how he really loved dogs. Miss Connor asked whether he wanted to be a vet, because there were plenty of courses doing that. However, his reply was, "No, I don't want to be a vet, Miss. I want to be a dog."
Miss Connor was naturally very surprised, but her immediate thought was that Jack was just being silly, so she pressed him, "Yes, very funny, Jack. Now, let's make this a serious discussion because we need to get on."
In fact, Jack was very serious. He explained, "I am serious, Miss. Dogs have no responsibilities. They are owned, but the owner feeds them, houses them, grooms them, takes them for walks, and even plays with them. I wouldn't need to work at all, and so wouldn't need to go to university."
Miss Connor then took Jack rather more seriously, although he didn't want to have a serious discussion at all. Miss Connor ended the discussion with, "Give it some more thought, Jack, and then, maybe in a week or so, we'll have another discussion."
As it turned out, Jack didn't give it some more thought, nor did he go back and have another discussion with Miss Connor. The following weekend, He went to a local coffee bar, found himself sitting with a very nice lady, Jenny, who he supposed was about his mum's age, and, when she started a conversation with him, he replied nicely, and particularly liked the way she
controlled the conversation. He was even more surprised when she offered to buy him a second coffee, and, of course, he accepted.
Jack didn't know then, but found out later, that Jenny was looking for a boyfriend his age who she could totally dominate and also look after. She even kept a straight face when she asked Jack what he wanted to do when he left college, and he replied that he wanted to be a dog, and be looked after like a dog. Jenny replied, "That is perfect."
Jenny steered the conversation around to them going out that evening, and, by the end of the evening, had convinced Jack to go back to her place. She even joked by saying. "You won't need pyjamas, Jack, because dogs don't wear anything at night. In fact, they hardly ever wear anything at all, except outdoors in the winter."
Jack felt more and more comfortable being with Jenny. She ticked so many boxes for him. Her age, her dominant sounding voice, and how she made the decisions for him.
When they got back to Jenny's house, she said, "So, Jack, why don't I start treating you like a dog. Get undressed, and you can follow me around on all fours. It will be fun for both of us."
Jack was really up for doing that, and wanted to do everything he was told to do by Jenny. After all, that's what pet dogs had to do for their owners, and he was very happy looking upon Jenny as his owner.
After spending the night at Jenny's, he was more than happy not to go to college that day, but to stay with her. She even told him that she was really up for treating him like a pet dog, looking after him completely, so long as he was happy to do as she told him. He immediately agreed to that.
Instead of just staying one day, Jack stayed several days. He didn't need a change of clothes, because Jenny told him to stay naked all the time when in the house, and to only be on all fours. He definitely enjoyed being treated as a dog, playing catch, or a tug of war using a rubber ring. Likewise, he also loved how she cuddled him. He was loving being treated as a pet dog.
Once Jack said how happy he was, in order to make the transition clearer, Jenny changed Jack's name to Russell. Jack actually loved the idea of being named after exactly the breed of dog he loved the most.
Some of the changes Jenny made were equally easy. She told him that he would be eating his food and drink from dog bowls. Jack was so happy doing it, and realised that he should actually have tried that himself before he had met Jenny. Jack was also excited when Jenny told him that he could no longer sit at the table with her, but would be having his food and water in the dog bowls placed on the floor, and he would sit on the floor and eat and drink whilst Jenny ate and drank at the table. He also accepted he could no longer use any cutlery, or his hands, but had to lap up the food and drink with his tongue.
Russell didn't even mind being told that he wasn't to sit on any of the furniture, unless given specific permission to do so, but otherwise had to remain on the floor.
Russell totally accepted he had to crawl around on all fours when in the house. The only time he was allowed to walk on his two feet, was when Jenny took him out for a walk. The first time, as Jack had no fresh clothes with him, Jenny did let him wear one of her own vest tops and a pair of shorts, but without any underwear, and she insisted on clasping hold of his upper arm the whole time, leading him where she wanted to go. She told him that was like him being on a lead.
Jenny said that she would wash the one set of clothes he had on when they went out that first evening, but he wouldn't need any more than that, ever. It was like a pet dog having just one winter coat.
