A lone wolf is walking around the woods, he is starving and had not eaten for days. When he walked into this forest he smelt fresh fruit and thought maybe some apple tree were nearby. He was getting farther and father into the forest looking at every tree looking for fruit but finding nothing.
Luke was just about to give up when he heard fresh water and took off to the source. He was hoping he could catch a fish or maybe wildlife that is drinking. He slowly approached the source of the sound and looked carefully for any signs of movement.
He was starving and was just ready to pass out from hunger. He looked along the shore line but no wildlife could be seen. He found that unusual since there was a nice pond to drink from. He was sure he would find something. At least a small rabbit or owl. When he made sure nothing was here he approached the water, maybe he will find some fish. He sees some movement and slowly lines up he jaw to try and catch one.
Hes practically drooling watching for the perfect time. He only had one chance to get a nice big fish. He sees the fist stop for only a second and he takes that opportunity to strike. He feels the cold water and snaps he jaws shut clamping on the fish. Hes beaming with excitement and practically dances when his walks to the tree close by. He immediately digs in and devours the fish in three bites. Luke is so busy with his fish and feeling a little bit better that he doesn't sense or see the patrol of four wolves approaching.
He gets up to drink some water from the lake and right when he drops his snout into the water, he hears a deep growl. He jumps and turns around looking at all four wolves. He tries to back up but realizes that hes next to the lake and nowhere to go. He releases a pitiful growl and shows his teeth. The wolves don't move and just stare at him, waiting from him to make the first move. They inch closer and closer and Luke desperately tries to swipe at them. Hes slow and they dodge with ease. When he makes a attempt at the far left wolf, the one on the far right takes the opportunity to bite down on his leg.
Megan the wolf on his leg clamps down and her mouth floods with copper taste of blood. Megan gets low not letting the leg go. When Luke turns around to swipe at Megan he is stopped by Sarah biting down on this left paw. Luke howls and whimpers trying to swipe with his right paw at Sarah to get her off his let paw.
He ends up on his stomach at Matty grabs his right paw with her teeth and bites down. The last wolf is Anna and she jumps on his back and bites down on his neck with enough force to make him submit but not to kill. Matty growls to let him know that its over. Luke whimpers and relaxes to tell them that hes done fighting. If you want to call it fighting. They let go and he starts to shift back to his human form. Luke stays on his stomach and spreads his arms above his head. Bleed from his arms and right leg he struggles to not cry out in pain.
Sarah and Anna start to return to there human form and ask him why hes here. Luke replies "I was just looking for food! I didn't know this was a territory, I swear" Sarah and Anna exchange looks and talk with the other wolves and Alpha through the mind link that all wolves in a pack have. Alpha says shes headed over with the Beta and Gamma.
Anna speaks to Luke "sit up and don't move or they will attack again."
Luke says okay and sits up. They ask him a series of questions about his name, pack, history, and what his plans are for being here. Luke replies "My name is Luke, I was in a pack many years ago but was kicked out when I was young with my family, my parents are dead and I am the only one left." He continues "I live a different homeless shelters or streets but run in the woods. I was starving and looking for food when I found this pond." Luke is looking at the ground and waiting for them to ask more questions but they stay silent. Luke thinks maybe they are relaying info to someone else. He catches the sent of others approaching and gets really scared. He starts to shake as he feels the aura of an alpha coming from the woods near by.
The dense, primeval forest stretched out before them like a dark ocean, its waves of towering trees undulating in the faint moonlight. The air was thick with fog, a heavy mist that clung to their skin and coated their fur. The pack's territory was a realm of shadows and secrets, where the ancient stone walls of their hidden cave loomed menacingly like the jaws of some slumbering beast.
Alexandria, the alpha, trotted at the head of her warriors, her silver hair shimmering like a wolf's pelt under the pale glow of the moon. Her green eyes scanned the shadows, her senses heightened by the primal call of the night.
She could smell the faint tang of sweat and fear from the intruder they'd captured, a teenage boy, a rogue. He was young, inexperienced, and his scent was all over the place - a mix of nervousness and curiosity.
