Ed & His Chasti-Collar

After what felt like an eternity of waiting, Daisy opened the door, revealing that she was wearing nothing but a thong. She had turned the corridor light inside his flat off again, perhaps preferring the more romantic (now red) glow being emitted from Ed's collar.

The next morning, Ed awoke to an empty room, the curtains were drawn, so the room was dimly lit with the red glow from his collar.

He staggered out of bed, his head ringing with the tequilas and the merriment of the night before. He searched the flat for Daisy, but she wasn't there, nor was the handbag she had with her the night before. Ed was a little confused as to why his collar was still red. She'd left early on a Saturday morning, as if she'd only wanted to spend the night with him which was what she'd indicated to him the night before; and yet, his collar was still red. She hadn't ended it. Maybe this was why she'd added the condition about paying her £50 to end it, because she was just going to wait for him to end it, counting on the fact that he would want to do it as soon as possible.

He returned to his phone and sent her a message on the app: "Hey, had a great time with you last night, shame that you didn't get the full experience. I didn't get to see you out this morning, but I've noticed I'm still red?"

She was showing as having been offline for a couple of hours. It was 8 o'clock, so he figured she'd slipped out at around 6.

Ed didn't know what to think. He'd only agreed to such strong terms on the basis that it was going to be a one night stand. Nevertheless, he did quite like Daisy, and despite the fact that she didn't unlock him he'd had a great night with her. He replied back to her.

"If I'm honest I feel a little deceived into accepting those terms, but now you've said that they make a lot more sense. I will happily stay red for you if you're able to adjust the terms to be a little more fair. As I mentioned I had a great time last night, and would love to spend more with you."

He got a reply back within a few minutes this time.

"I'm sorry if you feel deceived, but I received a video of you saying that you wanted to be my boyfriend, and that you agreed to the terms. I thought you would understand as you've been in the program longer than I have. The app won't let me change the terms so if you want to continue things you will have to accept it. It's a really difficult time for me atm, so please don't message me back. I'll message you when I'm ready. If you can't accept the terms then I would suggest finishing it with me a soon as possible(but I hope you don't)."

Ed was in a little bit of shock. On the one hand, he wasn't sure that starting a relationship on such severe terms was a good idea, especially given that he felt ticked into it. Equally, she was right, she set the terms to boyfriend and girlfriend, and he had agreed to it. He did also really like here, and didn't really want to let her go. But every second he delayed his decision was four he spent locked up if he decided to end it.

He decided to continue it for now, he did really like her, and figured she was his best chance to get a release anytime soon.

He spent the whole of the weekend in a desperate, anxiety driven state. When he went out to play poker on Sunday, the dealer that often flirted with him was making jokes about him now being someone's bitch, as she knew just last week he was orange. He'd actually asked her out a couple of weeks earlier, she laughed, explaining that she didn't 'date men who were pathetic enough to subject themselves to that sort of humiliation'. This did feel pretty inline with most of her character to be fair, but he did enjoy her company still.

Ed's frustration was getting to him, he was on tilt, and had been bleeding chips all night. In the end he gets a pair of aces, and goes all in. He gets called by someone else, but Ed felt a sigh of relief as it was king-queen suited. The flop came out as king-king-queen. Ed was done for the evening after that.

He left to get the bus home, he now couldn't afford the taxi home like he was expecting, and he now didn't have enough to pay Daisy her £50 to end the relationship. Still, it was payday tomorrow, so it wouldn't be too long until he could afford to make that decision.

He'd never expected to feel so desperate & down having recently gone red.
