DID 7: A Cold Heart! (Part 1)
"This is quite exquisite work, Mr. Morley."
Kelly Ann was examining a beautiful marble tub in Mr. Morley's workshop. This morning she and her bodyguard/lover, David, had taken the train north from her home to the village where Mr. Morley, a renown craftsman dealing with fine marble artwork, was headquartered. After making sure she was safely at Mr. Morley's shop and insisting the door was locked till he got back, David had finally gone on to do some errands for his employer. He hated to leave her out of his sight, however. Her murderous aunt, Suzanne, was on the loose and would stop at nothing to ensure Kelly Ann's death, so the aunt could inherit the immense Vanderhilt fortune.
Kelly Ann already had several expensive marble tubs in her fabulous mansion, but it had occurred to her to have Mr. Morley build a special one to her specifications. She had sketched out one in a heart shape that would allow two people to share the bath.
"So do you think you will be able to create the tub I want?" she asked.
Mr. Morley, a slightly plump man with a goatee, gave her little smile, "Well, Miss Vanderhilt, a tub for two people is quite an unusual request and perhaps even a bit, well scandalous, shall we say. But your money is good, so I'm happy to do the work."
Kelly Ann had been a bit surprised when she had met Mr. Morley that morning. He seemed quite young for somebody with such a well established reputation, but there was no doubt about the quality of his work. The shop was filled with beautiful objects: baths, wash basins, fountains and statuary both finished and under construction. Apparently he did all this work with only a single helper: a silent fellow with a full beard he called Sam. Morley had introduced his assistant, Sam, to them when they had arrived. Rather than saying hello, the man just nodded. Kelly Ann wondered if perhaps the assistant was dumb.
"Well, I know this might be an inconvenient," said Kelly Ann, "but I'm wondering if you could have the new tub ready in say, two months? I'm having some work done at my mansion and having the tub installed then would work well into our schedule."
Suddenly Kelly Ann was grabbed from behind by Sam and a sweetly smelling cloth was pressed over her nose. A familiar female voice said in her ear, "Don't worry about your schedule, my dear. You won't be around in two months!"
Suzanne!
Kelly Ann suddenly realized why Morley's assistant refused to talk. It was her aunt in disguise! And was "Mr. Morley" really the true Mr. Morley? Probably not!
As Kelly Ann felt her consciousness slowly slipping away she heard her aunt laugh, "I'm finally going to get rid of your my dear in the most cold hearted way imaginable!"
Is this the end for Kelly Ann? What awful death has her evil aunt prepared for her? Find out in our next episode!
DID 7: A Cold Heart! (Part 2)
Kelly Ann while visiting Mr. Morley's marble workshop has fallen into the clutches of her murderous aunt, who has sworn to bring her life to an awful end!
As Kelly Ann came back to her senses she found herself now sitting in the marble tub she had been admiring only a few minutes before. Now, however, she was naked and her wrists were tied behind her. She tried to rise from the tub, but without the use of her hands, she could not escape the smooth walls of the marble container.
"You're looking a pretty as always," said her aunt, taking in Kelly Ann's lovely, nude body. The woman had shed her disguise and now was back in her usual outfit: black blouse, riding pants and high heeled boots.
"Don't you ever give up?" demanded Kelly Ann.
"Never," her aunt replied. "It's either you or me, my dear niece."
"Where is Mr. Morley?"
"Don't worry about him. My new henchman, Mike, and I arrived early this morning and secured Mr. Morley and his assistant in a shed at the back of the property. We, of course, took their place. I have to say you have excellent taste, my dear. This tub you are in is carved in such a beautiful and elegant manner. It will be a fine place to bring your young life to an end!"
Just then Suzanne's henchman entered the room carrying a large, and apparently heavy, bucket.
"So what are you going to do?" asked Kelly Ann, "Bathe me to death?"
Suzanne gave her a wicked smile. "Exactly right!"
The henchman brought the bucket to the tub and dumped the contents of it on top of the girl's bare legs. It wasn't water though, but ice! Kelly Ann let out a sharp cry of surprise.
"I've had Mike out in Morley's ice house chopping up the ice there since we got here. He has more than enough to fill this tub," Suzanne laughed.
As she spoke the henchman arrived with a second bucket, throwing it on top of the first. In a few minutes Kelly Ann was up to her chin in ice and freezing cold water. Shivering she cried, "Only you could come up with such a awful torture, Suzanne!"
Suzanne, pulled a thermometer out her pocket, and shoved it into Kelly Ann's mouth. "Quiet, my dear! Let's see how your fairing." Kelly Ann, her mouth plugged with the device, sat in the tub, shivering, with petulant look on her pretty face.
After a minute, Suzanne, removed the thermometer from Kelly Ann's lips and checked the reading. "Excellent! Your body temperature is falling rapidly. In a few minutes you should become numb, then sleepy. And after you fall asleep, you will never wake again," she said, smiling.
By now Kelly Ann's teeth were chattering. "You wi...wiill... never...get...away...with this....David...will be...back...soon..."
