Christmas from the Pole
Mrs. Claus looked out her castle window into the night sky wondering just how much longer her husband would be out. The snow fell hard and fast at the North Pole but it was in no way worse then the dreadful year of the big snow storms. Mrs. Claus remembered back to that year and how Rudolph saved Christmas. A smile went across the woman's face as the remembered all those years ago.
"Mrs. Claus will there be any more need for the staff tonight?" an young 211 year old blonde elf servant by the name of Susie asked. As she brought in a large mug of hot chocolate.
"No dear -- send everyone home to enjoy Christmas. Please come and find me once the staff is gone so I know" Mrs. Claus said.
"Yes Mrs. Claus the elf replied as she backed out of the room and headed down the hall to dismiss the remaining elf workers.
Shadows danced on the walls from the candle light as Mrs. Claus took a seat by the fire drinking the nice large mug of hot chocolate her elf servant had just brought. Several minutes went by as the staff was sent home at the request of Mrs. Claus which was normal at this time.
"Mrs. Claus the staff has all left and everything has been locked up" Susie told her employer.
"Thank you Susie you can go home now. Merry Christmas" Mrs. Claus said with a charming smile.
"Merry Christmas Mrs. Claus" Susie replied before leaving the room and making her way to the castle entrance.
