Days passed, and Sarah managed to convince her parents to let her stay with her best friend for a couple more weeks. Her arguments were strong enough to convince them, as she would be all alone at home while they would work all day, and that would be a very boring summer... also, she had really good grades... they just could not say no to her.
Days would take a sort of routine but in a very relaxed way. The girls would wake up, make breakfast on some days, or go to a small bakery with an esplanade and an amazing sea view. Later they would go for a stroll in one of the parks nearby, and head home for lunch. They would relax, talk, or watch a movie or a TV show until mid-afternoon. A visit to the mall, or the pool, or even the beach until almost sunset. Dinner would take place at home or at some coffee shop in the village, and sometimes go out at night to have a drink at one of the local bars by the sea, but always keeping a distance from the rest of the crowd... they are both very shy, they rather talk or dance alone. The night would usually end on the sofa, watching a movie, and then going to bed. As Cathie's bed was huge, they both slept on it very comfortably.
A sound coming from Cathie's smartphone woke the girls up. With a very sleepy look on her face, Cathie dragged herself to the bedside table and checked her phone... It was a message from William.
Will - [Hi Cathie, I hope you are having a great summer. I will be going away with my parents up north for 2 weeks next Friday and just wanted to tell you, as we talked about going to the beach one day. So if we don't see each other soon, I hope you continue having a great time, and we will make it to the beach sometime later. Bye, Cathie! ***"
Cathie - Morning babe... we totally forgot to take a day to go with William to the beach... he says he is going with his parents up north next Friday... I feel bad for not having said anything to him.
Sarah -... morning - she said while yawning- ... don't worry, wanna go tomorrow? There is nothing to feel bad about, you have done nothing wrong, sweetie.
Cathie - Cool. Let's go tomorrow, then. - She said, smiling. - [Hi William! I'm so sorry for having said nothing, but we would love to go! What about tomorrow?]
William - [Tomorrow? I do not wish to impose myself... if you have other plans, please don't change them for me.]
Cathie showed the screen to Sarah - Ohhh, so sweet - she said while smiling - [Don't be silly, we didn't have any plans for tomorrow, and now we do! So... we are on?]
Will - [It's a date! :) When and where do we meet?]
Cathie - [Fishermen's Path, 9 AM... what do you say?]
Will - [Sounds awesome, Cathie! I'll see you tomorrow! Bye ***]
Cathie - [Cool :) See you tomorrow!] - So it's set... - she looked at Sarah and noticed she had already fallen asleep again. - Ohh, you sleepy head... - and starts tickling her ear.
Sarah mumbles something, opens her eyes, and says - Awww... - she yawns - All set with your boyfriend?" - and closes her eyes again.
Cathie jumps on her, tickling her everywhere and laughing while yelling - HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND! - Sarah laughs trying to escape Cathie's tickle attack while trying to tickle her back. - You don't have to convince me! - Said Sarah bursting even more into laughter. This pushed Cathie to tickle her more and more until Cathie stopped and lay down next to Sarah, breathing heavily from being tired of that morning "tickling exercise".
Sarah - I almost peed myself, you silly human alarm clock - she said laughing.
Cathie - You should, for having such a dirty mouth, young lady! - Replied Cathie also smiling - And then I would make you clean it with that filthy mouth of yours so it would not be so dirty! - and started laughing.
Sarah - Oh my God, you are so gross... - she said while laughing - Is that one of your fetishes also? Making your slaves piss themselves?! - And burst into laughter.
Cathie - Oh you... bitch... - And jumped onto Sarah again for another campaign of a tickle fight!
Sarah was laughing so hard that she had to use all of her strength to push Cathie down, wrapping her legs around her waist, and tickling Cathie more.
Cathie was now being tickled so hard that she had to give a strong push to Sarah as she could not handle more tickling. As she did it, Sarah lost her balance and fell onto the floor.
Cathie immediately got up and quickly kneeled down where Sarah had fallen. - Baby, are you alright? Fuck... I'm so sorry, baby!"
Sarah, surprised by what had happened, starts laughing again watching the concerned look on her best friend's face.
Cathie - I was worried about you, you... dumb ass!
Sarah - You should see your face... - she said while laughing!
Cathie - I thought you were hurt... God damn, Sarah!
Sarah caresses her friend's face with her hand while stopping all the laughter. - I'm alright, sweetie - she said, smiling.
Cathie gets the most serious look on her face - I was starting to think that I was going to have to rub my kitty right on your face, to get you back on your feet... - and she bursts into a laugh!
Sarah - Oohh... now who is being a bitch? You slick devil! - And also bursts into laughter.
The day went by as usual, and that night the girls had dinner at a very cozy and small dinner in the village, where they both had shrimp salad and strawberry sangria. They felt that the alcohol was getting into them and decided to return home. They got into bed a bit earlier than usual because they would have to get up a bit earlier than they were used to. In bed, they started talking.
Sarah - So, not joking right now... how do you really feel about William? I know I give you a hard time over him, but I feel that since I've known you, I have never seen you dating anyone.
Cathie - And you are not mistaken, sweetie. I really have never dated before... and William just seems to be a very good person, very sweet... There is something about the way he is that feels honest and real.
Sarah - Do you feel there might be something in the future with you both?
