Notes to reader:

I went with BDSM, but please note there is also a fantasy element. If Vampires turn you off, look away now!

You will get more from these characters if you read the stories in order, but it's not compulsory.

Tess-O'Meter -- Green / Amber

-X

Ana barely dare breathe.

Staring up into the jade green eyes of the most dangerous creature she had ever been close to, pinned helplessly by the bedclothes and his body.

But he was beautiful.

Those eyes, gazing at her as if in wonder, were surrounded by thick, dark lashes. Lush lips, slightly parted, his breath seemed to tremble in and out of his body. Sharp cheekbones, and although she knew Camil had shaved him, there was a couple of days growth now.

Smooth skin on a slender but powerful body, his arousal pressing against her through the blanket. Thick hair, she knew to be deep brown, looked almost black in the low firelight. It fell over his forehead, and Ana had the strongest desire to brush it back.

But she didn't. She didn't even blink as they gazed at each other. Then, finally, he murmured one word. Her name, "Ana." Before lowering his head and taking her lips.

His lips were cool and soft against hers. Rubbing and brushing, teasing for entrance. With a moan she opened and felt his full weight come down on her, his tongue against hers.

She tensed, expecting some taste, perhaps of blood or staleness, but he just tasted of man. And need. Her legs spread and he sank lower.

When his lips trembled, he pulled back and kissed his way over her throat and neck. Suddenly Ana's predicament came back to her spinning head, and she gasped slightly.

Emil raised his head again, his eyes searching hers.

Ana swallowed and kept her voice low and calm. "Emil?"

He almost smiled, nodding a little, his eyes warming.

"Emil. Where are Eugen and Camil?" He tipped his head slightly. "Emil, where are they?"

"Sleeping." His voice was rusty as he had only been using it to scream for months.

"Sleeping? Are they okay?" she tensed when Emil frowned. "It's just. When I last saw you, just a few hours ago, you were." Ana swallowed as Emil watched her intently. "Not quite yourself," she finished weakly, surprised when Emil grinned, his face lighting up.

"Aren't you sweet," he brushed another gentle kiss to her lips. "That's the kindest way of saying I was off my head, insane."

"You were unwell," Ana amended and received another playful kiss. "You were also bound?"

"Only with leather, I chewed through one."

"Why?"

"I needed to be with you." He continued when panic lit Ana's eyes. "Not like that," then he blushed. "Well, not right now. I just needed to be close to you. It was hurting me, being apart."

"The craving?"

Emil nodded, then earnestly as her brow furrowed. "I'm not going to feed. Not without Eugen or Camil. I'm not sure I would have control," he admitted.

"Sweetheart," Ana started, and received a blooming smile. "The reason they bound you was because you wouldn't have control. How can you be here with me, like this?"

"I would never hurt you," Emil pouted now.

Ana threw aside her fear and decided to take the lead.

"Okay, this is crazy. Emil, you're crushing me."

"Oh, sorry," Emil moved his weight quickly and sat cross legged on the cover, which was comical as his cock was pointing straight up. He saw her eyes widen. "Oh, sorry. Um. I don't feel comfortable dealing with that right now. Like it might start something I can't stop?"

Then he sort of shuddered and suddenly dived under the cover, pulling it up and snuggling close to Ana, who was balancing shock and annoyance.

"Sorry, I just have to be close to you. I won't do anything, but it hurts."

Ana's annoyance fled. "You still have pain?"

He nodded.

Somehow Ana knew she was safe and pulled him close. Emil pressed his nose and lips to her neck and shuddered violently, before relaxing a little.

"We need to wake Eugen and Camil." She continued, stroking his back gently to comfort, when he went to speak. "Emil. If they wake and find you gone they're going to freak. Why didn't you wake them?" She drew back to see the pout was back and smiled slightly.

"Camil looks so cute when he's sleeping, like a kid."

"Uh huh!"

"And Eugen looked so tired. He was in the chair, watching over me, but he looked exhausted. I wanted to let him sleep."

"And you weren't worried they would keep you away from me?"

Emil smirked. "It might have been a factor." He sighed. "But you're right. We need to go and wake them."

"Yes we do," but she hugged him for another moment. "Emil. How do you know my name?"

He looked at her now, his eyes briming with emotion. "You saved me. How the hell you got me in that car I don't know, and it's a good job I was nearly done. I wanted to feed so badly, I would have had no control. But you saved me, and then again with your blood."

"You remember?"

"I remember everything," he said, his eyes darkening suddenly with horror. "Everything."

"Oh my God!"

"It was like being trapped inside myself. I could hear everything, and experience it, but couldn't get free of my own body."

"I'm so sorry. It's going to be okay, I promise."

Emil smiled sadly at her, but then suddenly his eyes switched to black and he moved. Pinning her back to the bed and covering her, a feral growl deep in his throat.

Ana squeaked in shock, expecting him to rip into her throat, but then she heard a bang as the door crashed open and Camil's voice.

"Oh no. Oh sweet God, Ana. Emil?"

"Stay back," Eugen warned and moved Camil back as they eyed the ferocious figure straddling the bed.

Ana realized they had frightened Emil, but he hadn't attacked. He was braced over her. Shielding her like a bird of prey with a catch.

Which probably wasn't good, but even so.

"I'm okay," she said softly, knowing Eugen and Camil would hear. "Emil. Emil look at me." Those black eyes shifted to fix on hers and he snarled.

"What were we just saying, about waking Eugen and Camil? What did we just agree?" She tentatively reached up and stroked his cheekbone with her fingertips, ignoring another low growl. "What did we just say, tell me Emil." He blinked and shook his head a little.

"That's it. Come back to me. What were we about to do?"

"We," Emil blinked again, his eyes unfocused, the black warring with the green. "We were going to wake them." He blinked again and his eyes were clear, if a little confused. "What happened?"

"Eugen and Camil panicked, just like we thought they might." She wriggled. "Let me up."

"Oh shit," Emil moved back, pulling Ana up with him and into his arms, looking at his friends, "Sorry, you startled me."

Eugen was stood shaking and crying, it was Camil who carefully moved forward, his eyes on Emil. "Emil, I need to see Ana. Can I see her?"

"She's not hurt," Emil replied testily.

"It's not possible," Eugen whispered.

"I'm okay," Ana peered over Emil's arm and smiled at them. "I'm okay. He's doing okay, just take it slow, yea?" She had barely finished when Camil launched onto the bed, hugging her and Emil and kissing them both. Tears pouring down his face.

"Shhhh, calm down," Ana smoothed his hair and smiled at Emil, who pulled Camil close and held him tight, whispering words of thanks and love.

Ana eased up to the ornate headboard and watched. Her cheeks were wet as well, the emotion pouring from the men was thick in the air.

Finally they separated and Camil moved to her, double checking she was okay and watching as Emil knelt on the edge of the bed looking toward Eugen, who was still stood shock still.

"Eugen?" he asked, unsure.

"Why did you come down here?" Eugen demanded.

"I had to be near Ana."

"The craving?"

Emil nodded, "It hurts."

"Why didn't you feed?"

Ana noticed Camil brace and shift slightly in front of her, worried that Emil might be triggered.

"I wasn't sure I was safe to," Emil admitted. Then broke down as Eugen just watched him with an unreadable expression on his face. "I'm sorry, I should have woken you. I'm sorry, please." He hiccupped and held his arms up beseechingly. "Please, Eugen."

But Eugen had already moved and taken a hold of him. Gripping him close to his chest. "Hush, I'm not angry. I'm amazed. Your control shouldn't be possible." Then he squeezed even harder and pressed his lips to Emil's hair. "Oh sweet Jesus. We thought we had lost you."

Emil just clung and sobbed. Crying until he was exhausted, by which time Eugen was cradling him with Camil also offering comfort.

Eventually, Ana eased off the bed and slipped her feet into fleece lined boots. "I'm going to make tea," she said. "We should talk. Emil told me he remembers everything." She nodded at the horrified expression on Camil and Eugen's faces and quietly left the room.

-X

It hadn't been an easy night.

Listening to Emil describe such depraved torture, and that he had suffered it in his frail human body had been hard for all to hear.

Somehow it was worse that Emil seemed to be emotionless as he described his experiences. The dull way he explained, when Eugen asked, that he had been kept shaved because Constantine didn't like the feel of beard, or the sound to be muted, when he slapped him.

It was clear that Emil had started to shut down. Go deep into his own mind, long before the end.

The memories were harsher from when he was turned. Chained and starved in the back of a car and left hanging outside the castle. Knowing he was close to home, but unable to do anything but suffer.

Constantine, Ana thought darkly. Eugen had already told her the name of the enemy who had taken Emil, but now she swore revenge. Nobody should go through so much and not be revenged.

Emil's memory was sharper still from when he awoke a fledgling. She had been amazed that the tiny movements he had made when she manoeuvred him into the car, had been him trying desperately to bite her. Frantic to feed, survival his only aim.

He had flushed and apologized at that part of the story and Camil had chuckled. Slapping a hand over his face, his eyes shocked, but another chuckled had escaped. Then they were all giggling, mostly with overwrought exhaustion, but it had lifted the mood.

"Only you would apologize over something you didn't do," Camil pointed out.

Eugen had been even more subdued than Emil. Ana knew he blamed himself for what had happened, and was wrestling with the guilt that Emil had been turned against his will. He had lived with them for over a decade, and never once faltered in his decision to live his life human.

Now he had to come to terms with what had been done to him.

They had talked through the night and into the next day. Eugen explaining to Emil that he simply could not be considered safe around Ana right away.

Emil had never been around a fledgling and seem shocked, but prepared to take whatever steps were needed. But Camil had told her that when they separated, and secured him away from her, he had rocked and suffered until they were back together.

Ana had suggested a new tactic. One that came with regular, smaller feedings, and shorter periods apart.

It seemed to have worked, and although they were all tired, and perhaps a little worn with each other's company. Emil was calmer and stronger, and no longer in pain. Able to take just a few sips from her, although he also needed some topping up from Eugen and Camil, who were both astounded at his progress.

Eugen had written a long letter to his own Sire, with news, and he admitted to ask some advice. But the storm had returned and trying to get to the town was impossible right now.

Or even the tiny village, at the bottom of the hill, which Ana hadn't known existed and was apparently made up of an inn, two farms, a few houses and a church.

Civilisation, Ana smiled to herself as she trudged through deep snow. So close and yet so far.

The snow had lightened a little, and she had taken herself for a walk. It was four days since Emil had freed himself and she too needed some time apart. Her craving for him was nearly as strong as his for her. And if she didn't go to bed exhausted, the dreams would come.

Walking through some trees she came to a sudden stop, a smile lighting her face. The view over a snowy valley was amazing, and there was Emil. Stood tall and imposing, taking it all in.

He turned and smiled at her. "You've found my favourite spot in the whole world."

"I have?" she made to move to him. Halting when his smile fell and he held out a palm. "What's wrong?"

"Shit! Ana. Stop," he turned away as if in pain and took deep breaths.

Ana waited. Eugen had made it very clear that Emil should not be spooked.

"Can you walk away? Go to Camil and Eugen, they should be in the barn. Just go straight to them. Slowly," he half shouted as she took a step back.

"I can do that," She agreed and took another step.

"STOP!"

Ana halted again as Emil bent over, clutching his stomach. Then suddenly he was on her. Pushing her back against a tree, his eyes near black. "Stay here. Don't move," he demanded, and fled.

Ana braced against the tree and let out a shaky breath. What was that?

-X

Emil ran, as best he could through the deep snow. As soon as he could see the barn he started to yell. Eugen and Camil appeared, Eugen supporting him as he half collapsed. "Ana. The viewpoint," he gasped.

"Oh God," Camil muttered and at Eugen's nod he ran.

"It's okay. It's not your fault. Shit, I thought she was napping," Eugen half carried Emil towards the kitchen door.

"I didn't bite her."

"You didn't?" Eugen dragged him in and into a chair, kneeling and rubbing his cold hands. "What happened?"

"I tried to let her go, but I couldn't. I wanted her so badly, but I knew I couldn't control it. So I ran. I ran to you." He looked up, shaking and devastated. "You were there."

Eugen cupped his face and kissed him. "I'll always be there. Good God, Emil. Your control is unheard of."

"I nearly."

"Nearly doesn't matter." Eugen gave him a little shake to emphasise the point. "I'm so, so proud of you." He tugged Emil close when he started to weep. "Here, take a little. You need the boost." Hardly wincing when Emil's teeth pierced his wrist.

-X

Ana heard Camil calling and yelled back. "I'm okay." Then he was there, dark eyes and hands scanning her. "I'm okay. He didn't hurt me."

"What happened?"

"I'm not sure," Ana leaned gratefully as Camil started to guide her back. She was getting cold. "I stumbled across him here and it was fine, then it wasn't. He told me to leave but then seemed to panic. He ran."

Camil nodded, with a 'ahhh' of understanding. "Trying to make you leave was a, you would say 'rookie mistake?'" His English was heavily accented making her smile at the long o's.

"Because he's a rookie vampire?"

"Ha! Yes," Camil laughed. But then looked at her seriously. "He made you prey. Never forget Ana, we are predators in our souls. It will override everything else in the right circumstances."

She nodded to show she understood.

"But he realized his mistake, so he left. That's amazing. I was terrified I would find a blood bath."

"Hey!"

"Sorry," he gave her a squeeze. "Sorry, Ana. That was clumsy."

"Is it a set back?" Ana asked.

"No," Camil looked at her, his dark eyes shining. "No, it's a miracle."

They arrived back to find Emil napping in Eugen's arms.

"He fed a little, he's calmer," Eugen confirmed, as they gathered close.

-X

Three days later, Ana faced down a stubborn Eugen.

"He's ready. Can we just have some privacy?"

"He's not safe. I'm sorry, Emil," Eugen sent a pleading look his way. "I just think it's too soon."

"What do you think Camil?"

Camil looked at Ana, his eyes wide. "I don't know. I mean. Why are you asking me?"

"You know Emil as well as Eugen does." She glared at him.

"Well, he hasn't been triggered in days, I guess. He is doing well," Camil looked beseechingly between them all. "Oh, Christ. Eugen, he would never hurt her."

"God save me from romantics," Eugen rolled his eyes.

They all looked to Emil when he stood. "We won't do anything. I won't feed. I won't mate."

"Oh well, that's romantic," Ana grumbled.

"Or make love, which is a different thing," Emil smirked at her. "We just want to spend the night together. Please."

"I don't like it," Eugen stated bluntly. Then, "But as I'm not actually your Sire, I suppose I don't actually have any authority over you."

Camil gasped, and Emil reared back as if slapped.

"Eugen!" Camil scolded. "That was uncalled for."

Eugen held up a hand, pinching his brow and nodded. When he looked up his eyes were damp. He walked forward and pulled Emil into his arms. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, that was cruel. Please forgive me."

Emil held tight for a few moments, letting Eugen comfort him, and take comfort. Then he lifted his head and kissed his neck, his cheek, and then his lips. Eugen sighed and held him, deepening the kiss.

Ana felt heat pool between her legs as she watched them embrace. Then a bittersweet ache in her heart when the kiss ended and they looked at each other, their brows touching.

"You have all the authority. You know that, my brother."

"Thank you," Eugen whispered.

Emil pulled back slightly. "If you really don't think I'm ready then we'll wait."

Eugen studied him for what seemed like hours. Then he sighed again. "We will stay close. Not to eavesdrop, but a call from you and we will be there to help."

Emil nodded agreement, then the grin split his face. "Okay. Any doubt and I'll yell."

Camil clapped in delight and kissed Emil and then Ana. "Go on then lovebirds. Go and snuggle. We'll see you tomorrow."

Emil and Ana gripped hands and raced to her bedroom. Emil pushed the door closed and then lifted her and semi-threw her onto the bed, coming down hard on top of her with a bruising kiss.

"But you said we wouldn't make love," Ana gasped between deep kisses.

"I promised not to have sex. I never promised no kissing," Emil clarified. Smiling when she giggled against his lips. Her hands were tangled deep in his thick hair when he finally raised his head. "I can't risk anything that will push my control. Eugen is right to be cautious."

"Can they hear us?" Ana asked. "I assume they'll be in the kitchen the rest of the night!"

"For sure, they'll stay close," Emil grinned. "But they won't hear unless we're loud. I just want to hold you." He kissed her again. "I just want to love you."

Ana smiled and the kisses gradually softened into cuddles, talking, and eventually sleep.

Ana moaned, as from sleep to dreams.

She writhed under the searching hands and demanding lips. Her needs climbing to unbearable levels.

The thick cock like a claiming, as he pushed between her legs. Her cry of desire as teeth pierced her neck.

Ana arched, her eyes flying open, her hands gripping Emil's hand which was nestled between her legs. Holding him against her, pushing him deeper.

His clever fingers slipped against her and speared into her. He kissed her to muffle the cry, as she jerked and rode his hand. Hard shudders racking her body, even as she fell limp back to the bed.

Emil was led on his side, his head propped on his spare hand, his other hand still fingering her slickness. "That was some dream you were having!"

She narrowed her eyes at his lazy grin, before laughing breathlessly, and squeezing her thighs together, trapping his hand.

"Oh, feisty," he accused, and pulled free, before licking his own fingers clean.

"I'm amazed Camil and Eugen didn't come barging in," Ana admitted quietly.

"They know what you sound like when you dream," Emil told her, making her blush. "We all do. Who were you dreaming about?"

Ana shook her head, "I've been having dreams for months. They're getting clearer and clearer. Sometimes it's one man. Other times it's two guys. I don't know them but," she bit her lips and gave him an odd look. "The first man. I think it's you."
