"Will she appear do you think?" asked Kim.
"Oh yes Kim, I'm in no doubt about that. As a goddess of fate I know the moment of your meeting was pre-ordained. Her life blood runs through you Kim, you must believe she would never turn down this chance to touch her sole heir with her spirit."
"I'm scared," Kim sobbed, "of all the weird and wonderful things that have happened to me in Nemesisland, this is the scariest."
Goddess Nemesis pulled Kim to her and held her in a tight hug, the warmth of her body enveloping her in the heartfelt embrace.
"Don't cry yet Kim. There will be a time for tears, but not yet. Show fortitude for just a while longer."
"This is my family isn't it, my only family?"
"Yes Kim, the Goddess Ziva is your family; you are her ancestor," she said wiping a tear from her eye, "but stop Kim, look, you're making me cry now!" she laughed through the tears.
Goddess Nemesis had led Kim into the final part of Nemesisland. They had left the confines of her dungeon domain and thrown open the doors into the open air. They had followed a curious path of hexagon shaped tiles in colours of azure blue, turquoise, yellow and white that led into a wood. Goddess Nemesis explained that this was a deeply spiritual place where she came to consort with the other goddess spirits. No mere slave or servant could progress beyond the path into the dark forbidding wood of ancient trees.
Goddess Nemesis turned to Kim, "you do understand, don't you, why this journey was necessary? Without these trials, without the opening up of your heart, without your devotion and submission to me, you would never have truly believed."
"Yeah, I get it, really I do. Hey, it's been wild," Kim laughed, "I've loved every minute of it!"
